Multiple goals here. LONG term how do you improve retirement security for future generations? Is it just to pump more and more into social security? I think it’s to teach the power of financial responsibility while young.
Give every new kid a small stake in the economy they can understand, and then update school teaching to match. IMO this is coming.
Purely as a constitutionalist, I don’t understand or support this giving of such accounts to only a select group of citizens, and excluding others. UNLESS it’s necessary to counter some unknown risk or danger… such as if you knew due to actions of the deep state that this rising generation would be the first unable to count on social security? I made that up as an EXAMPLE.
