BENEFICIAL POINTS FROM SŪRAH AL-A'ARĀF, VERSE 31-33. 1⃣. Attend the Masjid in the Best Manner. Perform your Salāh in good clothes, and come to the mosque in a neat and tidy manner. Do not come to the mosque with foul-smelling clothes or offensive mouth odour, as it disgusts both the believers and the angels. 2⃣. Eat Wholesome and Lawful Things to Your Heart's Delight. If anyone claims that piety lies in poverty and abstaining from good food and clothing, he is a liar. Piety is not indicated by giving up lawful things; rather, it is found in abstention from unlawful things and contentment with ALLĀH's provision for the individual. 3⃣. Do Not Be Extravagant.  Many actions fall under the prohibition of "being extravagant," such as eating beyond one's appetite, spending wealth without reason, or considering lawful things as unlawful. These are all forms of wastefulness or extravagance. 4⃣. ALLĀH's Provision is Mainly for the Believers. Although disbelievers may enjoy good things in this world for the sake of the believers, in the Hereafter, they will be deprived of everything, even as little as a drop of water. 5⃣. Do Not Speak About Religion Without Knowledge. One of the widespread evils in our society today is that everyone feels entitled to give fatwas without knowledge. This is a grave sin, akin to slander and false accusation against ALLĀH, lord of the Worlds. https://t.me/alBaseeroh

ALLĀH commands taking Adornment when going to the Masjid; Fahishah, Sin, Transgression, Shirk and Lying about ALLĀH are prohibited. Sūrah Al-A'arāf, Verse 31-33. Recited by Mishari al-'Afasy with English Translation by Ibrahim Walk (Saheeh intl Translation)

THE 'HOUR OF RESPONSE' ON FRIDAY Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymin (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "The hour on Friday in which there is the greatest hope of a response to supplication is the time of the prayer, for several reasons: 1. Because that is mentioned in Sahih Muslim, in the Hadith of Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may ALLĀH be pleased with him). 2. Because this gathering of the Muslims to perform one act of worship behind one leader, namely one Imam, is the gathering in which a response to supplication is most likely. Hence on the day of 'Arafah when the Muslims gather in the plain of 'Arafah, ALLĀH, may HE be Glorified and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven; HE boasts of them to the angels and answers their supplications. Hence you should be keen to offer supplication at this time, which is the time of Jumu'ah prayer. But when does this hour begin and when does it end? It begins when the Imam enters the mosque and lasts until prayer ends. So now let us look at when we should offer supplication. The Imam enters the mosque and greets the people with Salam, after which comes the Adhan. There is no supplication during the Adhan, because one should respond to the Mu'adhdhin ˹by repeating what he says˺. After the Adhan there is supplication, and between the Adhan and the khutbah there is supplication. You should say after the Adhan [thd du'a after adhan]... Then you may offer whatever supplication you wish, so long as the Imam has not started the Khutbah; you have an opportunity, so call upon ALLĀH and ask for whatever you wish. Similarly, between the two Khutbahs, you may offer whatever supplication you wish, asking ALLĀH for the best of this world and the hereafter. And you may do the same during the prayer, when prostrating, because "The closest a person is to his Lord is when he is prostrating," as it was authentically narrated from the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) that the closest you can be to the Lord is when you are prostrating. But there is a another time for offering supplication during the prayer, which is after the Tashahhud, as is mentioned in the Hadith of Ibn Mas'ud (may ALLĀH be pleased with him), in which the Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned the Tashahhud, then said: Then let him choose whatever supplication he wishes. According to the scholars of Usul (the science of the principles of Fiqh), the phrase "whatever he wishes" is general in meaning. Now we have a time when supplications are answered, which is the time of Jumu'ah prayer, so make the most of this opportunity by offering supplication during Jumu'ah prayer, in the hope that it will coincide with the "hour of response." There is also another time, on the same day, when there is the hope that supplications will be answered. It is from after 'Asr until the sun sets..." 📚 Durus wa Fatawa Al-Haram Al-Madani, 1416 AH https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbCkXG6HrDZeu5zvIA1A http://bio.link/albaseerah

CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF THE PROPHET ﷺ Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "With regard to what some people have introduced, either in imitation of the Christian celebration of the birth of Eesa (Jesus – peace be upon him) or out of love for the Prophet (ﷺ) and to show respect for him – may ALLĀH reward them for this love and effort, but not for this innovation – of taking the birthday of the Prophet (ﷺ) as a festival, despite the difference of scholarly opinions concerning the date of his birth, this is something that the early generations did not do, despite the fact that the same reason for doing it (i.e., love for the Prophet (ﷺ) was present and there no impediment to doing so. If this was something that was purely good or mostly good, the early generations (may ALLĀH be pleased with them) would have been more likely to do it than others, because they had greater love for the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) and greater respect for him than us, and they were more eager to do good. Rather, the best way to show love and respect for him is by following him and obeying him, heeding his commands, reviving his Sunnah both inwardly and outwardly, propagating the message with which he was sent and striving hard to do that, in one’s heart and by one’s actions and words. This is the way of the earliest generations, the Muhaajirïn and Ansār and those who followed them in truth." 📚 Iqtida as-Sirāt (pp. 294, 295) https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAhM0H3AzNYsPern90x http://bio.link/albaseerah

THE REALITY OF THIS WORLD AND THE HEREAFTER ALLĀH says: وَمَا هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. Which distracts people’s hearts and minds, because of what ALLĀH has created in it of adornment, pleasures and desires that attract those whose hearts have turned away from the truth and that look attractive to the eyes of the negligent and give joy to souls whose main pursuit is falsehood. But it quickly passes and comes to an end, and the one who is in love with it will get nothing but sorrow, loss and regret. وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الاْإخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ But the Hereafter is indeed the real life That is, the perfect life, one of the characteristics of which is that people there will be physically strong, because their bodies and strength will be created for eternal life, and everything will be available there that makes life perfect and brings pleasure and joy and fulfilment of physical desires. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di}

DIFFERENT VIEWS ON THE MONTH AND DAY OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S BIRTH Historians and biographers disagree on the exact day and month of the Prophet's (ﷺ) birth. This uncertainty is understandable, as it was not known what status this newborn would achieve; his situation was like that of any other newborn. Thus, no one can state with certainty the date of his birth (ﷺ). Several opinions have been mentioned on this matter, including the following: 1️⃣. That he was born on 2nd Rabi'ul-Awwal. Ibn Kathir (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "It was said that he was born on the second of the month ˹of Rabi'ul-Awwal˺..." {As-Sīrah an-Nabawiyyah (1/199)} 2️⃣. It was said that he was born on 8th Rabi'ul-Awwal. Ibn Kathir (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "It was said that he was born on the eighth of the month ˹of Rabi'ul-Awwal˺..." {As-Sīrah an-Nabawiyyah (1/199)} 3️⃣. It was said that he was born on 10th Rabi'ul-Awwal. Ibn Kathir (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) mentioned:  "It was said that he was born on the tenth of the month ˹of Rabi'ul-Awwal˺..." {As-Sīrah an-Nabawiyyah (1/199)} 4️⃣. It was said that he was born on 12th Rabi'ul-Awwal. Ibn Kathir (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "It was said that he was born on the twelfth of the month ˹of Rabi'ul-Awwal˺. This was stated by Ibn Ishaq. It was narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in his Musannaf from 'Affan from Sa'īd ibn Mina that Jabir and Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) was born in the Year of the Elephant on Monday 12th Rabi'ul-Awwal; on Monday his mission began, on Monday he was taken up to heaven, on Monday he migrated, and on Monday he died. This is the well-known opinion according to the majority. And ALLĀH knows best." {As-Sīrah an-Nabawiyyah 1/199)} 5️⃣. It was said that he was born on 9th Rabi'ul-Awwal, which corresponds to 20th April 571 CE. This is what the authors of some modern books on Sīrah regard as most likely to be correct, including Professor Muhammad al-Khudari and Safi ar-Rahman al-Mubarakfuri. Abu'l-Qasim as-Suhayli (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "The mathematicians say that his birth occurred in the solar month of April, on the twentieth of that month." {Ar-Rawd al-Unuf (1/282)} Prof. Muhammad al-Khudari (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "The Egyptian astronomer Mahmoud Basha (d. 1885 CE) who was well-versed in astronomy, geography and mathematics, and wrote several books based on his research stated that it was on the morning of Monday 9th Rabi'ul-Awwal, which corresponds to 20th April 571 CE. That corresponds to the first year following the elephant incident. He was born in the house of Abu Talib in Shi'ab Banu Hashim." {Nur al-Yaqīn fi Sīrat Sayyid al-Mursalīn Page 9}. See also ar-Rahīq al-Makhtum Page 41} It was also said that he (ﷺ) was born in Ramaḍān or in Safar or some other month. And ALLĀH knows best. It should be noted that celebrating the Prophet’s birthday was not prescribed by ALLĀH or by the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ), nor was it celebrated by his companions who loved the Prophet (ﷺ) most. Therefore, it is not permissible for Muslims to celebrate his birthday, in obedience to the command of ALLĀH and the command of HIS Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever innovates into this matter of ours that which does not belong to it, it will be rejected." {Al-Bukhārī #2697, Muslim #1718} He (ﷺ) also said: "Verily he among you who lives long will see great conflicts, so you must keep to my Sunnah and to the Sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs), those who guide to the right way. Cling to it with your molar teeth. Beware of newly invented matters in the religion, for verily every bid'ah (innovation) is misguidance." {Abū Dāwūd #4607} We ask ALLĀH to protect us from bid'ah and to bless us by helping us to follow in the footsteps of those who have attained HIS pleasure. May ALLĀH bless our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). https://t.me/prophetic_Seerah http://bio.link/albaseerah

THE RULING ON QAZA (SHAVING PART OF THE HEAD AND LEAVING ANOTHER PART) Shaykh Ibn Uthaymīn (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "Qaza means shaving part of the head and leaving part of it. It is of different types: 1⃣. Where the shaving is not done properly, so some hair is shaved on the right side and on the left, and on the front, and on the back (i.e., separate parts of the head are shaved and the rest is left). 2⃣. Where the middle is shaved and the sides are left. 3⃣. Where the sides are shaved and the middle is left. 4⃣. Where the front part only is shaved and the rest is left. Qaza is makrūh (disliked), because the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a boy, part of whose hair had been shaved and part had been left. He told them not to do that and said: Shave it all or leave it all. But if it is done in imitation of the kuffār it is harām (forbidden), because imitating the kuffār is harām. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever imitates a people is one of them. Therefore, if we see an individual who has shaved part of his head and left part of it unshaved, we should instruct him to shave his entire head. Thereafter, he should either shave it all or leave it all unshaved." 📚 Al-Sharh al-Mumti (1/167-168) https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbCkXG6HrDZeu5zvIA1A http://bio.link/albaseerah

THE RELIGION WITH ALLĀH IS ISLAM ALLĀH said إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللّهِ الاِسْلَمُ Truly, the religion with ALLĀH is Islam. ALLĀH states that there is no religion accepted with Him from any person, except Islam. Islam includes obeying all of the Messengers until Muhammad who finalized their commission, thus closing all paths to ALLĀH except through Muhammad. Therefore, after ALLĀH sent Muhammad, whoever meets ALLĀH following a path other than Muhammad's, it will not be accepted of him. In another Ayah, ALLĀH said, وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الاِسْلَـمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him. (3:85) {Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr} The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) also said: "By HIM in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one from this nation—whether a Jew or a Christian—hears of me and then dies without believing in what I have been sent with, except that he will be among the inhabitants of the Fire." {Muslim #153}

FRIDAY COMBINES PRAYER AND SACRIFICE LIKE EID Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) mentioned: "Indeed, Friday is, within the week, like Eid is within the year. And since Eid includes prayer and sacrifice, and Friday is a day of prayer, ALLĀH, the Exalted, made hastening to the mosque in place of the sacrifice and as its substitute. Thus, the one who goes early to the mosque combines both the reward of prayer and sacrifice. As mentioned in the two Sahihs from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'Whoever goes (to the Friday prayer) in the first hour, it is as if he has offered a camel; whoever goes in the second hour, it is as if he has offered a cow; whoever goes in the third hour, it is as if he has offered a horned ram.'" 📚 Zād al-Ma'ād (1/189-190) https://t.me/ibnulqayyem https://bio.link/albaseerah

THE BELIEVERS' SUCCESS ALLĀH says, قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ Successful indeed are the believers. That is, they are victorious, blessed and successful, for they have attained everything that one may seek. Among the perfect attributes of the believers who believe in ALLĀH and in the Messengers is the fact that ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِى صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَٰشِعُونَ they humble themselves in their prayers. Humble focus in prayer means presence of mind before ALLĀH, bearing in mind how close HE is. Thus the believer’s heart is comforted, his mind is put at rest, his movements become still and he is not distracted, as he stands humbly before his Lord, focusing on everything that he says and does in his prayer, from beginning to end. Thus he dispels devilish whispers and bad thoughts. This is the essence and purpose of prayer, and this is what will be written down in the individual’s record...⬇️ https://t.me/Tafseer_Benefits/918 {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di}

BENEFITS OF PRONOUNCING ADHAN IN NEWBORN'S EAR Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "The reason behind uttering the adhān, which ALLĀH knows best, is to make the first thing a person hears in its words, the glory and might of ALLĀH, and the creed of Islam which is its first deed. It is as though he or she is inspired by the creed of Islam upon entering this life, just as he or she is urged to utter it (Laa ilāha ill-Allāh) upon his departure from it (i.e., at the time if death). ... Another benefit of such an act is to repel Shayṭān away with the adhan's words; he is waiting for the child to be born in order to accompany him or her throughout the trial, which ALLĀH had decreed and willed. Therefore, Shayṭān hears what weakens and frustrates him at the first moments of his company. Another meaning that it entails is to make the invitation to ALLĀH, HIS religion of Islam and HIS worship preceding to the invitation of Shayṭān, just as the nature upon which ALLĀH created him or her was preceding to Shayṭān's alteration, in addition to other reasons. ALLĀH knows best." 📚 Tuhfatu al-Mawdud bi Ahkam al-Mawlud (pp. 37-38) https://t.me/ibnulqayyem http://bio.link/albaseerah

REPEATING THE NAME OF ALLĀH ON ITS OWN, OR THE PRONOUN 'HUWA (HE)' IS NOT PRESCRIBED IN THE QUR'AN OR THE SUNNAH Ibn Taymiyyah (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) also said: "Repeating the Name of ALLĀH on its own, such as saying 'ALLĀH, ALLĀH,' or the pronoun, such as 'HUWA, HUWA' is not prescribed in either the Qur'ān or the Sunnah. It is not reported that any of the salaf of this ummah or any of the righteous scholars who are taken as examples did this. It is only spoken by misguided people of the later generations. Perhaps they are following a shaykh who had no control over himself in this regard, such as al-Shubli who, it was narrated, used to say 'ALLĀH, ALLĀH.' It was said to him, 'Why do you not say Lā ilāha ill-Allāh?' He said, 'I am afraid of dying between the negation (saying Lā ilāha (there is no god) and the affirmation (ill-Allāh (except ALLĀH)'! This is one of the mistakes made by al-Shubli, who may be forgiven for it because of the sincerity of his faith and the strength of his emotions which overwhelmed him. Sometimes he would go crazy and would be taken to the asylum, and he would shave off his beard. There are other instances of this type in his case, which are not to be taken as examples, even if he may be excused or rewarded for them. If a person intends to say Lā ilāha ill-Allāh, and he dies before completing it, that will not harm him at all, because actions are judged by intentions, and what he intended to do is what will be written down for him." 📚 Majmū' al-Fatāwā (10/556-557) https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAhM0H3AzNYsPern90x http://bio.link/albaseerah

THE RULINGS AND ETIQUETTES OF SWEARING On the authority of 'Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may ALLĀH be pleased with him), it is reported that the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said: "Whoever swears by other than ALLĀH has committed an act of kufr or Shirk." {Abū Dāwūd #3201} It is reported on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (may ALLĀH be pleased with them) that the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said "Do not swear by your fathers: Whoever swears by ALLĀH, let him speak the truth and the one for whom the oath is taken in the Name of ALLĀH should he satisfied with it; and whoever is not satisfied with it, is not ˹one of the slaves˺ of ALLĀH." {Ibn Mājah #2101} The Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) informs us in this Hadith (the first hadith) that swearing by other than ALLĀH, Most Glorified, Most High, is tantamount to a denial of ALLĀH, the One True GOD and equivalent to associating partners with HIM. This is because the essence of swearing is glorification and it is not fitting that we should glorify any save ALLĀH, the One True GOD and Rabb, for to do so is Shirk. In this Hadith (the second hadith), the Messenger of ALLĀH forbids the swearing of oaths in other than ALLĀH's Name, because this entails glorifying ALLĀH's creatures and humility towards them and Islam does not permit humility towards other than ALLĀH. Then He (ﷺ) commands those who swear in ALLĀH's Name to speak the truth, because truth is a virtue at all times, even in ordinary speech, so what may be said of speech reinforced by an oath in ALLĀH's Name?. Then He (ﷺ) orders the one to whom an oath in ALLĀH's Name is made, to believe his Muslim brother, unless it is proved that he has not spoken the truth, for it is incumbent upon the Muslim to think well of his brother and whoever does not do so, ALLĀH has nothing to do with him. Benefits Derived From This Hadith: 1️⃣. That swearing by other than ALLĀH is an act of major Shirk- according to some scholars, it takes one out of the fold of Islam, while according to others, it is a sinful act of Shirk which however does not necessitate one's becoming a disbeliever. It has also been said that it is an act of minor Shirk- and ALLĀH knows best. 2️⃣. The forbiddance of swearing by other than ALLĀH. 3️⃣. The permissibility of swearing by ALLĀH, so long as one is truthful. 4️⃣. The prohibition of swearing by ALLĀH upon a lie. 5️⃣. The obligation to accept the word of one who swears by ALLĀH, unless it is proved that he has lied. 6️⃣. That there is no recompense for swearing by other than ALLĀH, since it is an act of Shirk, the culprit must instead turn in repentance to ALLĀH and seek HIS Forgiveness. 📚 Kitābu at-Tawhīd Explained || Pages 256- 262 http://bio.link/albaseerah

REMINDER: ALLĀH IS WITH YOU! When you think no other human hears you. When you harbor private aspirations and terrors, no one else feels the beating of your heart. But ALLĀH is with you, my brother, my sister. ALLĀH hears. ALLĀH is always ready to comfort you, respond to your du'as, and bless you with HIS grace. Recall the moment when the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) were in the Cave of Thawr, fleeing their enemies. Instead of fear, the Prophet ﷺ comforted his companion with, لَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَاۖ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَيۡهِ Do not be sad; indeed, ALLĀH is with us. Then ALLĀH sent down HIS Sakīnah (calmness, tranquillity, peace) upon him (9:40) So, when the loneliness of life feels heavy on your back, remember that you are not alone. And when you find yourself in a moment of utmost despair, when every apparent means of escape has been cut off, do not let your heart become heedless of ALLĀH. Rather, remember HIM. Think of Mūsā (Alayhis-salām) when he and the Children of Israel stood before the sea, with Fir'awn and his army closing in behind them. The situation appeared hopeless. His people said, as ALLĀH mentioned: إِنَّا لَمُدۡرَكُونَ Indeed, we are sure to be overtaken! Yet Mūsā did not surrender to despair. He turned his heart to his Lord and said: كَلَّآۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهۡدِينِ Never! Indeed, my Lord is with me; HE will guide me. (26:61–62) At that moment of extreme distress, Mūsā remembered his Lord, placed his trust in HIM, and remained certain of HIS help. And ALLĀH showed him HIS help in a way he could never have imagined: the sea was parted before him, and a path was opened where there had been none. This is the meaning we should take to heart. When the servant remembers ALLĀH in his moments of difficulty, he is not remembering One who is distant from him. HE is remembering the One who knows his condition, hears his supplication, sees his distress, and is able to bring relief from where he least expects it. This is why the Prophet ﷺ narrated that ALLĀH Almighty says: I am as MY servant expects ME to be, and I am with him when he remembers ME. For when you remember HIM, you are remembering the One who is with you, and when HIS help comes, HE can open a way where you see no way at all. ✍🏾 AbdulWaahid Yunus http://bio.link/albaseerah

WHEN WORDS ARE BETTER THAN CHARITY ALLĀH says, قَوۡلٌ مَّعۡرُوفٌ وَمَغۡفِرَةٌ خَيۡرٌ مِّن صَدَقَةٍ يَتۡبَعُهَآ أَذًىۗ Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by hurtful ˹words˺. "Kind words" that is, words that are acceptable and not objectionable. That includes any kind words that make a Muslim feel happy, such as speaking gently when having to turn away a beggar, and praying for him. "and forgiveness" towards one who mistreats you, by not blaming him and by pardoning him. That includes pardoning what the beggar may say of offensive words (when you turn him away). Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity that is followed by hurtful words, because kind words come under the heading of verbal kindness, and forgiveness is also an act of kindness because you are not blaming him. Both actions are kindness in which there is nothing that may spoil it, so they are both better than a kind charitable act that is followed by hurtful reminders and the like. {Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di}

THE RUIN OF THE HEART Ibn al-Qayyim (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "So just as the heavens and the earth – were there to be a Lord besides HIM in them, The Glorious, then they would have become ruined, as HE, The Most High, said: لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا Had there been therein (the heavens and the earth) gods besides ALLĀH, then surely they both would have been ruined. (21:22)   Then likewise is the heart, if there is something in it that is worshipped other than ALLĀH, The Most High, it would become ruined with a ruination whose rectification could not be anticipated except if that which is worshipped ˹besides HIM˺ is removed from it, and that ALLĀH, The Most High, alone is its Lord and that which it worships, that it loves HIM and hopes in HIM and fears HIM and relies upon HIM and turns to HIM repentantly and obediently." 📚 Ighāthtul Lahfān (1/45)   https://t.me/ibnulqayyem http://bio.link/albaseerah
