ઓગસ્ટ ૧ના સવારે અચાનક સ્વામીશ્રીએ વેર હાઉસ ઉપર જવાનો વિચાર કર્યો અને સર્વે ટ્રસ્ટી મંડળને ત્યાં તાત્કાલિક આવવાનો સંદેશો આપ્યો. સ્વામીશ્રી પધારી જાતે આ ટેપથી જગ્યા માપવાનું શરૂ કર્યું. ત્યાં સુધી ટ્રસ્ટી મંડળ આવી જતાં, સ્વામીશ્રીએ અહિયાં મંદિર કરવું છે. સિંહાસન કઈ બાજુ, કેટલું ઊંચું, કઈ કઈ મૂર્તિઓની પ્રતિષ્ઠા કરવી, સિંહાસનમાં કેટલી ઘૂમટી, પૂજારીનું રહેઠાણ, સંતોનો ઉતારો, પ્રદક્ષિણા અને સિંહાસન વચ્ચે કેટલી જગ્યા આદિ નાના નાના સૂચનો સાથે પોતાનો સંકલ્પ જાહેર કર્યો. બપોરનાં આરામમાંથી જાગીને સંતો સાથે વિમર્શ કર્યા બાદ બે સંતોને સિંહાસનની ઊંચાઈ અંગે વેર હાઉસમાં સેવા કરતાં કાર્યકરોને માહિતગાર કરવા મોકલ્યા.

On the morning of August 1, 1991, Swamishri unexpectedly decided to go to the warehouse at 2500 Woodbridge Avenue. Swamishri himself began taking measurements of the sinhasan area with this measure tape. As the trustees arrived, he described the details of the sinhasan and how to design it. He told them which murtis would be installed, how many sections the sinhasan should have, where the pujari should stay, where the santo should stay, how much distance there should be between the sinhasan and the wall, etc. In this way, Swamishri took interest in every detail of the forthcoming mandir. Later that day, Swamishri was resting in the afternoon and thought of some changes to the size of the sinhasan. He sent two santo to relay the changes to the volunteers working at the mandir site.

સી.એફ.આઈ.ના ભાગ રૂપે “વિશ્વશાંતિ મહાયજ્ઞ”નું આયોજન જુલાઈ ૨૧ના દિવસે એડિસનમાં દેવાયેલ જગ્યા ઉપર – ૨૫૦૦, વુડબ્રિજ એવન્યૂ ખાતે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ યજ્ઞમાં પ્રતિષ્ઠિત થનાર મૂર્તિઓનું પૂજન કરી, સ્વામીશ્રીએ દિલા દિલ સૌને આશીર્વાદ આપતાં કહ્યું કે, “આ જગ્યા ઉપર અક્ષર પુરુષોત્તમ, ગુરુ પરંપરા, હનુમાનજી, ગણપતિજી, સીતારામજી વગેરે દેવોનું સ્થાપન થવાનું છે. એ જગ્યા ઉપર યશ થશે.” આ યજ્ઞની સાથે સંસ્થામાં ગુરુપરંપરાની બેઠી મૂર્તિ અને સીતારામ, શંકરપાર્વતીની મૂર્તિઓની પ્રતિષ્ઠા કરવી એ નિર્ણય લેવાયો. હજારો ભક્તો હાજર હોવા છતાં ૧૦૨ ડિગ્રી તાપમાન પણ ખૂબી લાવ દીધું હતું.

As part of the Cultural Festival of India, a Mahayagna for world peace was performed at 2500 Woodbridge Avenue on the morning of July 21, 1991. During the yagna, Swami performed the murti pujan of the soon to be installed murtis for Edison Mandir. While standing, Swamishri addressed the assembly, “In this very place, the murtis of Akshar-Purshottam, Guru Parampara, Hanumanji, Ganapatiji, Sita-Ram and all the devtas will be placed.” It was decided during the yagna that the sitting murtis of guru parampara and murtis of Ram-Sita and Shiv-Parvati would also be installed. Despite being 102 degrees outside, thousands of devotees attended the event.

સી.એફ.આઈ.ની ચરમ સીમા રૂપ “ગુરુભક્તિ દિન” – પ્લેટિનમ તુલા જુલાઈ ૨૦ના રોજ એક્સ્પો હોલમાં યોજવામાં આવ્યો હતો. સર્વે ભક્તોની વિનંતીથી સ્વામીશ્રી ઠાકોરજી સહિત પાલખીમાં બિરાજ્યા. હરેકને સુખ આપવાની, હરેકને દર્શનદાતા દેતી આ નાની સરખી નગરયાત્રા સ્ટેજ પાસે અટકી. સર્વે સંતો, ભક્તોની વિનંતીથી ઠાકોરજી અને સર્વે સભાસદોને હાથ જોડી નમન કર્યા બાદ સ્વામીશ્રી તુલા તરફ ગમન માંડ્યા. તુલામાં બેસતાં પહેલાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ યોગીજી મહારાજની મૂર્તિ મંગાવી. પછી પટલે પ્રગટ અક્ષરપુરુષોત્તમ મહારાજ અને ગુરુજીની મૂર્તિની સાથે બિરાજ્યા. સમસ્તના શિખરે પણ ઠાકોરજી અને ગુરુજી જ રહ્યાં! સમગ્ર સત્સંગ સમાજ વતી પૂ. મહંતસ્વામી, પૂ. ડૉક્ટર સ્વામી તેમજ ડૉ. કે.સી. પટેલે હાથમાં જળ લઈ સંકલ્પ કર્યો. પૂ. વિવેકસાગર સ્વામીએ વેદોક્ત તુલાનો સંકલ્પ કરાવ્યો. પૂ. મહંતસ્વામીએ પ્રવચનમાં જણાવેલું કે, “આપણે ભલે કે તુલા પ્રમુખસ્વામીની થઈ પણ ખરેખર તો અંદર બિરાજેલા શ્રીજીમહારાજની તુલા થઈ કહેવાય! આ તો પ્લેટિનમને ભાગ્ય કે આપશ્રીનાં ચરણોમાં પહોંચવાનું!”

The highlight of the Cultural Festival of India was Guru Bhakti Din on July 20, at the Expo Hall. There, for the first time in history, Swamishri’s platinum tula was performed. At the loving request of the devotees, Swamishri sat on a palanquin with Thakorji and was carried through the audience to the stage. To give everyone bliss, he weaved through the audience, giving them darshan! Before sitting on the tula, Swamishri had asked the santo to bring a murti of Yogiji Maharaj. Swamishri kept Thakorji and his guru at the forefront, even at the pinnacle of praise. Swamishri bowed to Thakorji, santo, and the devotees before humbly taking his seat on the left side of the tula. On behalf of the entire satsang mandal, P. Mahant Swami, P. Doctor Swami, and Dr K.C. Patel took water in their hands as P. Viveksagar Swami ritually commenced the ceremony. On this occasion Mahant Swami said, “We believe that we are doing the tula of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, but in reality it is of Shriji Maharaj, who lives within Swamishri...it is the great fortune of the platinum that we allowed it to reach Swamishri’s divine feet.”

સી.એફ.આઈ.માં “યોગી દિન” ૧૧મી જુલાઈ ના દિવસે કીર્તનભક્તિનો કાર્યક્રમ રાખવામાં આવ્યો હતો. સ્વામીશ્રીએ કીર્તનની પ્રેક્ટિસ સંતો સાથે અગાઉના દિવસે કરેલી. આજે સ્વામીશ્રીને શરદી ખૂબ જ થઈ હતી. આજે કીર્તનભક્તિનો કાર્યક્રમ ખુલ્લા સ્ટેજ પર યોજવામાં આવ્યો હતો. કીર્તનભક્તિની શરૂઆત થતાં જ મેઘરાજાએ પણ વરસવાનું ચાલુ કરી દીધું. બધા આયાપાશા થવા લાગ્યા. સંતોએ સ્વામીશ્રીને પૂછ્યું, “હવે શું કરવું છે? બંધ કરીએ?” સ્વામીશ્રી જરા અણગમાઈને કહે, “તમે તમારે ચાલુ રાખો ને! ભજન કરો, વરસાદ બંધ થઈ જશે.” કીર્તન ભક્તિ આગળ ચાલી. વરસાદ ધીમો પડ્યો. સ્વામીશ્રી સ્ટેજ પર પધાર્યા. પૂ. યોગીચરણ સ્વામીએ કહ્યું, “નહીં ગાવ તો ચાલશે.” સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “વાંજો નહિ આવે. બધાનો સંકલ્પ છે તો પૂરો થાય, ગાઉં નાખીએ.” અને ઘેરા અવાજે “વંદન વારંવાર યોગીજીને........” એ કીર્તન ગાવાની શરૂઆત કરી અને સમાની સાથે મેઘરાજા પણ સત્વર થઈ ગયા!

On the evening of “Yogi Din” on July 19, 1991, a kirtan aradhna was to be performed on the open stage at the Middlesex County College. At the request of the santo, Swamishri had practiced for thirty minutes the day before. However, on this day Swamishri had developed a severe cold. For this reason, santo requested Swamishri not to sing. Swamishri replied “No. No. It is everyone’s wish. I will be fine. Let’s sing.” At the beginning of the program, it began to rain, causing a commotion. The santo asked Swamishri, “What should we do? Should we end the program?” Swamishri strongly said, “Continue with the kirtan bhakti! Do bhajan so the rain stops.” The santo continued with the kirtan aradhna and the rain slowed to a drizzle. Swamishri then sang, “Vandan Varamvar Yogijine…” in an enchanting low tone (due to his illness). The audience erupted with joy. As Swamishri sang, the rain miraculously stopped!
