Based crow. I'll take worship songs that I can understand over esoteric humming any day. Sure, chants can be pretty, but if they are not in your mother tongue the most they do is provide a semi-devotional vibe. A worship song, even if it is simple enough for children, proclaims something with devotion content the believer can appreciate. Of course, Lutheran hymnody is best at this, but my love for old-time revival songs remains unchanged.
