Ibn Rajab (raḥimahullāh) explains that “Such a person is elevated from the level of īmān to the level of iḥsān, so that he worships Allah as if he sees Him. His heart becomes filled with knowledge (maʿrifah) of Allah, His love, greatness, fear, awe, reverence, closeness, and longing for Him, until the person ‘sees’ Allah with the eye of insight…
This state within the hearts of the devoted lovers of Allah continues to grow stronger until their hearts become completely filled with it. Nothing remains in their hearts besides Him, and their limbs move only in accordance with what their hearts contain. When a servant reaches this state, it is said of him: ‘Nothing remains in his heart except Allah,’ i.e. His knowledge, love, and remembrance.”
Seek safety from Allah's punishment with a heart that constantly remembers Him.

Sujūd is one of the best and most honoured times to make duʿā’. Pour your heart out to Allah in sujūd and cry out of fear of Him. Make duʿā’ for everything, be it minor or major. Be selfless and make duʿā’ for your family, friends and the ummah. Be like Abū al-Dardā’ (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) who said, “Indeed I make duʿā’ for thirty of my brothers whilst I am in sujūd, with their names and their fathers’ names.”

Want to be amongst those closest to our beloved Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Judgement?
Send abundant ṣalawāt upon him ﷺ daily, and even more so on the day and night of Jumuʿah.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The closest of people to me on the Day of Judgement will be those who send the most ṣalawāt upon me.” (Tirmidhī)
Imagine being close to our beloved Prophet ﷺ on that Day. What an honour!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ. اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ

Ibn ʿAbbās (raḍiyallāhu ʿanhumā) narrates: “When the Prophet ﷺ would stand for the night (tahajjud) prayer, he would say [this duʿāʾ].” (Bukhārī)
This opening duʿāʾ of ṣalāh brings the heart before its Creator. It combines praise of Allah, yaqīn in His promises, complete surrender to Him and a heartfelt plea for His mercy and forgiveness.

In the stillness and darkness of the night, pray at least two rakʿahs of tahajjud and bring your heart to Allah: your fears, your worries, your hopes and your sins. Do not hold back; confide in Him.
Dhikr and obedience to Allah are the whip that puts our open enemy, Shayṭān in his place—weakening his influence and strengthening the believer’s heart.

Don’t forget to take time out and make duʿā’ in the last portion of the day of Jumuʿah.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“Jumuʿah is comprised of twelve portions of time. There is one in which a Muslim who asks Allah for something will have it granted to him. Seek it in the last portion after ʿAṣr” (Abū Dāwūd).The pious predecessors would give great importance to this time. When Mufaḍḍal b. Fuḍālah (raḥimahullāh) would perform the ʿAṣr ṣalāh on Jumuʿah, he would seclude himself in the corner of the masjid and continuously supplicate until sunset. One of the righteous said:
“I have never made a duʿā’ between ʿAṣr and Maghrib on a Jumuʿah without my Lord answering me…”Duʿāʾ is the believer’s greatest honour. Be eager to seize this moment. Pour your heart out to Allah. Be persistent in your duʿā’ and do not withhold your tears. Ask Allah for everything, big or small. Do not forget al-Masjid al-Aqṣā, Gaza, and the rest of the Muslim Ummah in your duʿās.

Allah (subḥānahū wa ta‘ālā) says, “Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings (ṣalāh) to the Prophet. O you who believe, invoke ṣalāh upon him, and send your salām (prayer for his being in peace) to him in abundance” (33:56).
Sending ṣalawāt upon the Prophet ﷺ has many virtues, including:
1. You’re upholding the command of Allah
2. You reap immense rewards
3. It’s a solution to your problems
4. The angels send blessings upon you
5. Secures closeness to the Prophet ﷺ
6. It completes your duʿā
7. Repels the description of being a miser
8. Safeguards you from the Prophet’s curse
9. It’s a path towards Paradise
10. A mention of you and your father to the Prophet ﷺ
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ. اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
