Now that the nights are getting longer, ʿIshāʾ is earlier and Fajr is later, making it easier to wake up for Tahajjud.
If Tahajjud is not yet part of your routine, or you have fallen out of the habit, start with two rakʿahs, even if you wake up only ten or fifteen minutes before Fajr. Make it a habit. Speak to Allah, pour your heart out to Him and ask Him for everything you need.
| 2 | Gaza and Sudan: the Headlines Have Moved On
The headlines move on. The suffering does not.
Gaza still bleeds. Sudan still grieves. Families still hunger, flee and bury their dead.
The genocide in Gaza has killed 70,000 people, displaced close to 2 million, and laid waste to the area.
Sudan’s civil war has a death toll of around 140,000, has displaced 11 million people or more, and is currently the world’s largest crisis. It is also a crisis that Muslim activism and charities tend to call very little attention to, as if one set of Muslims were superior to another due to ethnicity, geography or circumstance.
As Muslims, the media cycle must not dictate the geography of our concern. What ceases to be newsworthy does not cease to be worthy of our du‘a and service to the ummah.

| 3 |  On the third day of the so-called Feast of Tabernacles, war criminal Itamar Ben-Gvir stormed al-Masjid al-Aqṣā for the 21st time since taking office, along with more than 1,700 Israeli settlers under heavy protection from the occupation forces.
During the incursion, he led Talmudic prayers before dancing and singing alongside settlers, chanting, “The Temple will be built, and the city of Zion will be filled.” He also declared, “We are the masters of the Temple Mount,” and called for Israeli “sovereignty” over al-Masjid al-Aqṣā. He celebrated what he described as Israel’s “total victory” and boasted that the lives of Palestinian prisoners had been turned into “hell”.
O Allah, foil every plan against al-Masjid al-Aqṣā, protect it, purify it from the Zionist occupiers, and liberate it from occupation and oppression.
O Allah, protect our oppressed brothers and sisters in Gaza and throughout Palestine. Grant them strength, steadfastness and relief, heal their wounded, have mercy on their martyrs, free their prisoners, and grant them victory. | 603 |

Masjid al-Aqsa is already being divided by time, with specific hours set aside for settler incursions. There are also ongoing attempts to divide its space.

| 7 |  Around 1,500 Israeli settlers stormed al-Masjid al-Aqṣā today in the face of an Ummah of two billion Muslims, as the desecration of its sanctity continues.
Incursions in such vast numbers are becoming the norm.
On the second day of the so-called Feast of Tabernacles, settlers entered in successive groups under heavy protection from the occupation police and performed Talmudic prayers and rituals. They sang, danced and clapped, performed the so-called “epic prostration” and brought plant offerings into the blessed sanctuary.
At the historic Cotton Merchants’ Market leading to al-Masjid al-Aqṣā, occupation forces forced Palestinian shopkeepers to close their businesses while settlers performed Talmudic rituals in the market and near the Cotton Merchants’ Gate (Bāb al-Qaṭṭānīn).
This is how much al-Masjid al-Aqṣā means to the Zionists. They are working relentlessly to empty it of Muslim worshippers while settlers, young and old, storm it in their hundreds and thousands, openly calling for these incursions and this desecration to continue.

| 8 | The Good Life Is Not Luxury
We may think that the ‘good life’ is a life devoid of any difficulties; a comfortable, luxurious life.
On the contrary, those who enjoy the ‘good life’ may experience some of the worst worldly difficulties. However, despite the difficulties and severe illnesses they may suffer, their hearts are at peace. Their hearts are content with Allah’s decree. They may have very little material wealth, but their hearts are brimming with īmān and the love of Allah.
Our beloved Prophet ﷺ is the person who best personified this. He ﷺ owned very little of the world: he would sleep on a simple mat which would leave marks on his blessed back, but despite this, he lived the best life. | 815 |

| 10 |  Increase in sending ṣalawāt upon the best of creation ﷺ, especially on the day and night of Jumuʿah. Through it, ranks are elevated, sins are forgiven, blessings descend, and it is a means of attaining his intercession on the Day of Judgement, along with countless other benefits.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ. اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ. | 1 016 |

Once again, tens of thousands of Israeli settlers stormed the Western Wall (al-Burāq Wall) of al-Masjid al-Aqṣā last night and performed Talmudic rituals.
Among those present were Israeli war criminals Benjamin Netanyahu and Itamar Ben-Gvir, alongside several other Israeli ministers.
After the rituals, the war criminal Netanyahu entered the tunnels at the al-Burāq Wall, described its stones as “the rock of our existence,” and declared, “We returned, we are here, and we will always remain here.”
Settlers have continued to storm the courtyards of al-Masjid al-Aqṣā this morning.
O Allah, do not allow our hearts to become numb to what is happening. Protect the blessed al-Masjid al-Aqṣā, preserve its sanctity, and liberate it from occupation and oppression. | 1 111 |

| 20 |  Israeli extremist and war criminal Itamar Ben-Gvir continues to escalate his attacks on al-Masjid al-Aqṣā.
Last night, he stormed the al-Burāq Wall alongside thousands of settlers, where Talmudic rituals were performed in yet another violation of the sanctity of Islam’s first qiblah.
The Western Wall, known as the al-Burāq Wall, is where the Prophet ﷺ tied the Burāq on the Night Journey, and where the Prophets before him tied their mounts.
Ben-Gvir has also backed demands to open al-Masjid al-Aqṣā exclusively to settlers on Saturdays. This would prevent Muslims from entering al-Masjid al-Aqṣā for an entire day every week.
Continue to raise awareness, speak about what is happening and do whatever you can for the cause of al-Masjid al-Aqṣā. Let no duʿāʾ of ours pass without mentioning al-Masjid al-Aqṣā.
