Today marks the successful completion of this academic year, and it brings me great joy to have reached this milestone together with my close friend-Hiskel Ayansa; someone with whom I have shared a long educational journey, from living in the same town to studying together at university, and even becoming classmates along the way.
As students of the 2018 E.C. academic year, we have now successfully completed our third year of study and are preparing to return home to our families for the semester break before beginning our fourth year.
The journey we shared throughout this academic year has been filled with learning, perseverance, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Reaching this stage together is truly a blessing and a source of happiness.
May the success that carried us through this year continue to guide us toward even greater achievements in the years ahead. May we return with renewed strength, determination, and success for the coming academic year.

Abdi Reta is a humble, compassionate, and highly capable individual who has demonstrated exceptional performance in academics, sports, and leadership. As a fifth-year Law student at Salale University and the current President of the Students’ Union, he has consistently distinguished himself through academic excellence and outstanding leadership qualities.
He is a brilliant student who has maintained high academic achievement throughout his studies. This year, he is completing his first degree in Law [LL.B] from the School of Law. In addition, he previously graduated with high distinction in Accounting and Finance, successfully earning his first degree in that field as well.
I would also like to sincerely appreciate and congratulate him for the remarkable contribution he made in representing our university in the national Moot Court competitions organized annually among the country’s law schools. For two consecutive years, through his dedication and commitment, our university proudly secured second place at the national level — an achievement that brought great recognition and honor to our institution.
As a close friend and beloved brother, we have shared not only friendship but also leadership responsibilities together this academic year while serving as members of the Students’ Union coordinating committee. Throughout the time we worked together, we continuously exchanged ideas, shared experiences, and supported one another professionally and personally. Not even for a single day did conflict or misunderstanding arise between us. This clearly reflects the maturity, wisdom, and strong character that my friend possesses.
I firmly believe that he is a person who will make a significant contribution to his country and serve his people with justice, integrity, and dedication in the future.
The field he studies is Law — a discipline centered on justice, governance, and the protection of the rights of citizens and nations. Through his service as President of the Students’ Union at Salale University, he has gained valuable practical leadership experience that will undoubtedly strengthen his future career and public service.
As he prepares to graduate this year, we are confident that he will also achieve excellent results in the Exit Examination and continue to bring pride and recognition to our university.
