🇷🇺 #Russia: A Russian military lieutenant colonel was killed in a suspected car bombing in St. Petersburg earlier today after an improvised explosive device reportedly detonated inside his vehicle as he and his wife were leaving their home. His wife was seriously injured and hospitalized.
Russian media identified the officer as a lieutenant colonel serving in the Air Force and Air Defence forces. While the Russian Investigative Committee has officially described the incident as a "vehicle fire" and opened a criminal investigation, local reports say an IED detonated inside the car, completely destroying it. No group has claimed responsibility, and Ukraine has not commented yet on the explosion.

🇸🇩 #Sudan - 🇪🇹 #Ethiopia: The Sudanese Armed Forces have shot down another drone after it crossed into Sudanese airspace from the direction of Ethiopia in Blue Nile State, near the Ethiopian border.
The aircraft was intercepted north of Sarkam, according to the Sudanese military, which did not identify its operator, type or intended target.
This is the third reported drone interception in the Blue Nile border area within days, with Sudanese authorities previously reporting two similar incidents on Sunday and Monday.
Sudan previously accused Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates of involvement in these type of drone attacks.

🇸🇾 #Syria: The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have officially dissolved as an independent military force after 11 years fighting against ISIS, the Assad regime, criminal gangs, and various state sponsored mercenaries.
SDF commander, Mazloum Abdi, announced that SDF fighters have completed their integration into the Syrian Army under an agreement with President Ahmed al-Sharaa’s (Jolani) government, despite the Damascus offensive against SDF-held territory in January 2026 after the fall of Assad in December 2024.
This marks the end of a long struggle beggining in 2015 against ISIS territorial rule in Syria and for the freedom of Kurdish people and other ethnic groups.
The dissolution also ostensibly ends a major conflict between the SDF and the new Syrian authorities, whose forces emerged from the Islamist insurgency led by the former Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) leadership.
The agreement supposedly includes recognition of Kurdish cultural and educational rights, although whether this will be implemented properly is highly unlikely.
Tens of thousands of people died fighting under the ranks of the SDF. They fought against jihadism and for a secular homeland under the rule of a confederal direct democracy.

Yona Schreiber, from the Peduel settlement in the occupied West Bank, was found by a district psychiatrist to have been in "a psychotic state" and not responsible for his actions at the time of the assault. Instead of prison, he was ordered to undergo psychiatric hospitalization.

The footage shows one of the fighters apparently carrying a US-made Ruger Precision Rifle. Two police officers were killed during the subsequent attack.

🇺🇸 #US: The US has struck yet another alleged "narco-trafficking" vessel, with Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere carrying out a lethal strike on a "go-fast" vessel operating along what the US government describes as established drug-trafficking routes in the Caribbean yesterday.
US Southern Command said intelligence had confirmed the vessel was actively involved in narcotics trafficking. Four people described by US authorities as "narco-terrorists" were killed in the strike.

🇲🇲 #Myanmar: An anti-junta rebel assassinated a Pyusawhti (pro-Junta militia) guard at a western guard post in Zadi Pyu Village, Kantbalu Township, Sagaing Region, in order to seize his weapon.
According to local reports, a member of the rebel group "Bo Paing Cha" approached the guard while he was on duty, under the guise of "offering" him betel nut, then shot him once with a pistol before seizing his G3 rifle, ammunition and other equipment.
