🇦🇿 #Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan’s State Security Service (DTX) announced earlier today that it had arrested 10 alleged members of an international jihadi network linked to the former "Sumgayit Jamaat" group, which had previously been convicted in Azerbaijan. According to the DTX, the network was preparing assassinations of public and religious figures and financing individuals involved in armed conflicts abroad, including internationally recognized terrorist organizations, through cryptocurrency. The suspects face charges including financing terrorism, forming a criminal organization and preparing attacks against public figures. 🇮🇩 #Indonesia: TPNPB-OPM (National Liberation Army of West Papua – Free Papua Movement) militants in Papua have reportedly captured and killed a truck driver on the Trans-Wamena–Nduga route after forcing him at gunpoint to declare Papua's independence. The TPNPB-OPM central command alleged that the victim was an Indonesian military intelligence agent operating under the cover of a civilian truck driver. The killing took place after he finished the forced statement. His body was burned along with the vehicle he was driving at the side of the road.
