Notice regarding Leo Hill CPGB-ML had an application from Leo Hill, who applied to become a supporter of our organisation in 2025. He is a man of around 28 years of age of US and British origin, currently living in the Gloucester and Bristol areas. He told us that he had a previous history of involvement with the Communist Party of Britain, of which he claimed to be a former regional organiser. He cited political disagreements as the reason for leaving them and approaching us. After a period as a relatively inactive supporter and having had limited interaction with the party, it came to light that there had been an incident in which allegations were made about his personal conduct. These were serious allegations regarding his safety to be around women and children and that his actions had been reported to the police. It subsequently came to light that he had a similar history within the YCL and the CPB and was in fact expelled from those organisations for similar reasons. We have excluded him from membership, activity or association with the party. The CPGB-ML has made the decision to make this concise statement public as fair warning to our own comrades not to associate or communicate with him regarding party matters, and as a public duty to other organisations that he may approach – who may wish to discuss these matters with him.

The demands made by a delegation of zionist groups and taken up with alacrity by former Labour health minister Wes Streeting were: 1. That NHS England, NHS trusts, and pressure the Police, GMC and the Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service (MPTS) should all be forced into taking stronger action against pro-Palestine and anti-genocide doctors. The fact that disproportionate and indeed unlawful action has been taken against targeted doctors has been clearly demonstrated. 2. That the IHRA must be explicitly rolled out across the NHS. Streeting indicated his assent to this, and in September 2025 went further and announced that NHS England and the integrated care boards (ICBs) had been instructed to implement it and all NHS trusts asked to do likewise. 3. That for data monitoring purposes, Judaism should be recognised as an ethnicity as well as a religion. The repercussions of simultaneously degrading Saudi oil infrastructure and blockading both the Bab al-Mandeb and the strait of Hormuz cannot be overstated – either for the Saudi economy or for global oil supplies. As the Anglo-American imperialist camp continues to ratchet up its middle-eastern war front in the hopes of reviving its waning hegemony and resetting its crisis-ridden economy, the price is already being felt by billions of workers around the world – and is set to rise far higher in the near future. The imperialists’ reckless gamble, at the expense of so many lives and livelihoods, has so far not been paying off at all. A blockage of both vital shipping lanes out of the middle east has long been flagged by western analysts as the ‘ultimate nightmare’ for the very global capitalist economy that the USA and its allies are trying to bail out. New party leaflet issued by our comrades in Walton, Liverpool, but relevant everywhere: The reactionary deportation rally held on County Road on 13 June was presented by its organisers as a ‘grassroots’ movement speaking on behalf of ordinary working people of Walton. In reality, it was another attempt to redirect working-class anger away from capitalism and towards other workers. The reactionary mob that assembled was replete with St George’s flags, Union Jacks and christian imagery that appeared to be referencing the Crusades of the middle ages (more wars of elites over middle-eastern resources!) They chanted slogans like “Get them out” and hurled provocative abuse at the counter-demonstration that was assembled over the road. Meanwhile, the opposition responded with chants of “Refugees welcome here” whilst waving Palestinian flags. While many were no doubt motivated by good intentions, the activities of this supposedly ‘progressive’ side were as self-defeating as those of the reactionaries. Clearly, such empty sloganeering does nothing to explain the real reason for mass migration in the modern age. It does nothing to help anyone recognise why our own ruling class engages in endless economic and military warfare all over the world, or how that warfare devastates whole countries and leads to the mass displacement of targeted populations. Screaming about (or at) migrants also does not bring us any closer to understanding the root causes of the housing shortages, disappearing public services, rising unemployment and increasing deprivation being suffered by the working class in Britain – of all ethnic backgrounds. The USA is ruthlessly using every means at its disposal to try to reverse the ‘pink tide’ of progressive governments that formerly swept Latin America. New leaflet from the Communists: Burnham claims that his government will pursue ‘market-friendly socialism’, which apparently includes such socialist mainstays (!) as fiscal discipline (ie, defending the profits of finance capital) and welfare cuts (making the poorest foot the bill).
