“The moment the Holy Spirit grants us to know the hypostatic form of prayer we can begin to break the fetters that shackle us. Emerging from the prison cell of selfish individualism into the wide expanse of life in the image of Christ, we perceive the nature of personalism of the Gospel,” St. Sophrony (His Life is Mine, pg. 40).

We tend to think of AI as a software problem, weightless and waterless, but even a 100-word email written with ChatGPT has been estimated to require roughly a bottle’s worth of water once data-centre cooling and electricity generation are counted — and scaled to global demand, researchers project AI could withdraw 4.2 to 6.6 billion cubic metres of water a year by 2027, roughly half the United Kingdom’s annual freshwater withdrawals.

Those who had an idea that this was the fact during covid were shunned and persecuted. Turns out they were correct. I hope with this clear hindsight we as Christians can learn an important lesson.

To the “Platonites” I remained a “Karlovci,” and to the Sobor of bishops I remained a “Platonite!” When questioned, “Fr. Gerasim, which jurisdiction do you belong to?” I answer to all: “To Christ's jurisdiction!” Yes, according to Christ's commandment I pray for all, I commemorate all. But truly, this Church separation hurts me very much,” Fr. Gerasim of Spruce Island.

"Cameron Stanley, the chief digital and artificial intelligence officer at the US Department of War, compared  xAI’s computing capacity to weapons manufacturing, saying the company’s ability to operate data facilities “at massive scale” is “as foundational to our modern defense posture as traditional munitions production.” Stanley revealed that Grok is a crucial part of Palantir-developed Maven Smart Systems (MSS), a platform that supports “targeting, intelligence, readiness, and recruitment,” as well as military planning and logistics. “MSS frontier workflows enabled US forces to deploy over 2,000 munitions to 2,000 distinct targets within 96 hours during Operation Epic Fury,” he said, adding that xAI is one of just three enterprise providers able to sustain “mission-critical operations” across Secret and Top-Secret classified networks. He warned that if xAI’s Colossus 2 facility is shut down or deprived of power, the Pentagon’s capabilities would be impaired." From thousands of miles away, it is very difficult to discern what really happened to the Caves Monastery. Regardless if it is the “dastardly” Ukrainian government up to who knows what, or that “evil” Putin's regime indiscriminately bombing Ukraine, the tragedy remains. The internet will do what it does, and sides will cast the blame on to the other. But, in typical fashion, few will take responsibility. Each side will justify itself in light of what it perceives to be the wrong of the other. And each side has plenty of wrong. But maybe, as Orthodox, we are all responsible. Maybe the Dormition Church burning is permitted as a physical symbol of the spiritual state of Christians today? Ukraine was thrust into global geopolitical battles and moreover spiritual battles. Mixed in with that battle is the use of the Orthodox Faith. The EP justifies its establishment of the OCU and passively supports its violence. The MP has delusional grandeur of being the champion of Orthodoxy while it suspends priests who simply pray for peace. Besides the Kiev Lavra, a multitude of Orthodox churches have been destroyed or damaged as a result of the war in Ukraine. Russia's hands in the matter are no more innocent than Ukraine's. We have tow pots calling each other black. So maybe as Orthodox we should try repentance. I don't know, I'm just spitballing here. Maybe if the hierarchs could lead the way, that would be very helpful. Can those in the MP repent for their part? Can those in the EP repent for theirs? Can we all simply repent that Orthodox are involved in destroying Orthodox? We start every Liturgy, “In peace let us pray to the Lord ...” Where is our peace? How can we speak of love when love fails in us? Can the Russian Orthodox not mourn for their suffering brethren in Ukraine, rather than frequently calling them “schismatics” (I've seen it many times). Can the Greek Orthodox not sorrow for their suffering brethren? Can we not all mourn that the hearts of men have grown so cold and that rather than repent we justify and blame. The Russian war in Ukraine has done terrible damage to Orthodoxy. In fact, it is my opinion that it has only undermined Orthodoxy and worked for anti-Christian global agendas. The pictures of the Dormition church burning are simply a shocking imagery of the spiritual reality of what is taking place. We are as Orthodox of the same body, even in America the suffering affects us. At this point, maybe we try practicing what we preach, humility and repentance. Maybe if certain leaders were less concerned about political influence there could shine through a bit more of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Lord Jesus said, “My Kingdom is not of this world.” How about instead of the EP hugging the Pope, he goes and repents to his brother slavic bishops? And maybe the MP could do something similar? How about instead of cozying up to Rome, we tend the Orthodox house that is on fire? At this point, who lit it is secondary. Let's put the fire out. Let's try repentance. After years of writing about the religious events in Ukraine, I won't be holding my breath that we might simply give deep bows and say “forgive me, I have sinned against you.” No. The thing that will heal us, we certainly won't do. There is too much prestige at stake on various sides. Lord have mercy.

On the Bombing of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra By the UOJ-America Editorial Staff In a letter of support to Metr. Onuphry of the long-suffering Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metr. Tikhon of the Orthodox Church in America condemned “the continued military attacks of the Russian Federation upon the sovereign territory of Ukraine,” praying that “hostilities may cease without delay and that a just and lasting peace may soon be restored.” Those of us who call ourselves Orthodox Christians must do the same. Metropolitan Pavel called the shelling of the cathedral the work of the devil and linked the tragedy to the “abomination of desolation” that has reigned in the churches after the expulsion of the UOC. On June 15, 2026, Metropolitan Pavel (Lebed), abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, called the destruction of the Dormition Cathedral “a great sorrow” for the fullness of the Universal Orthodox Church. The UOC hierarch issued an address in which he stressed that behind the physical destruction of walls lies a spiritual catastrophe. “It is a sorrow when churches are destroyed in any Local Church. People who think they are doing this are, in fact, not the ones doing it – it is being done by the devil, who abandoned Christ, His Church, and the faithful for a time,” the hierarch said. The abbot recalled that the cathedral, restored in 2000, is now experiencing a tragic period not only because of shelling, but also because of the attitude of its new owners. “They dance in the churches, shoot all kinds of improper videos, fry and steam things – instead of prayer, instead of the unifying Divine power abiding there,” the hierarch said, denouncing what he described as the systematic desecration of the monastery. He added that today outsiders and women enter the altar, while clergy are openly mocked. “Today there is emptiness, abomination, and desolation,” the hierarch stressed. According to Metropolitan Pavel, the current persecution of the UOC is caused by its faithfulness to the canons. “Today we are the persecuted Church in Ukraine, the hated Church. Why? Because we preserve the unity of the Universal Orthodox Church,” he explained. The abbot called on the monastery brethren not to lose heart or yield to pressure. “Pray, do not go anywhere, do not leave. And forgive those people who have lost the image of God,” he said. The sources report that tomorrow, June 10, a forcible eviction of nuns from the Epiphany Monastery of the UOC is being prepared. 🚨In the morning, security forces are coming to take the monastery away from the Orthodox Christians who restored the shrine with their own hands. ❗️The sisters of the monastery ask all Orthodox Christians to come to the monastery in the morning and support the monastic community. ⭕️ Organizers of the monastery seizure are the same officials and museum workers who threw children out into the cold from the Kremenets theological school and cut the locks on the Economic Gate of the Pochaiv Lavra with a grinder. Barbaric attempts to seize the monastery have been going on for almost 3 years. In September 2023, officials and police cut off the electricity in the monastery. “The COVID-19 pandemic revealed the catastrophic global impact research on dangerous pathogens in biolabs can have,” the spy chief also said." In these times, it is beneficial to have a little reflection. As many people knew, modern "pandemics" can be engineered. In fact, the US of A has numerous labs scattered around the globe dedicated to creating illnesses. It's for freedom and democracy. The COVID simulation was exactly that, a simulation created and engineered by the powers that be. Although I and a number of other clergy were ridiculed and even suspended for questioning the COVID response, in the church and elsewhere, most of the factual information today reveals that we were correct. In mass, many well meaning Christians went along with an engineered pandemic. I reflect, have we learned? If it happens again how will things go? What will Christian leadership do? What will Christians do? Will we again follow an engineered agenda? Will we again close churches and ban those that are not falling in line with the agenda? I'm not trying to be spiteful or any such thing, I ask because I wonder and am concerned. Before 2020 I would never have thought that people would be barred from church over things like masks. So, now that I've seen it happen, it remains a concern. As of yet, there has been no apology to those who were mistreated and expelled from church. There has been no apology to the clergy who did not promote the agenda. In fact, a number are still being passively punished because they were not "obedient" during COVID. Obedient to protocols that were engineered by Fauci, who is in the same league as Mengele. In March of 2020 I wrote, "They have had no true care for human life and even worse they have had outright intent to destroy human souls and they are now the ones I must look to for salvation? They now, of a sudden, have only the welfare of humanity at heart? Are we so blind!" from, The Masters of Death Are Now the Ministers of Life? – The Inkless Pen Anyway, when more and more information comes indisputably to light, it makes me ponder of certain things a little.

Christian Leaders Appeal for Protection of Tyre's Christian District TYRE, LEBANON — Christian leaders in the historic Lebanese city of Tyre have appealed for urgent intervention to prevent damage to the city’s Christian quarter as military tensions continue to escalate in southern Lebanon. The appeal follows an Israeli evacuation warning that included areas of the city previously spared from the conflict. According to reports, hundreds of residents fled the Mediterranean port city after the warning was issued, while civil defense personnel assisted elderly residents and other vulnerable individuals in relocating to safer areas. Traffic reportedly stretched for miles along Lebanon’s coastal highway as families loaded vehicles with personal belongings and sought refuge elsewhere. An Israeli airstrike in another part of Tyre on June 10 reportedly killed eight people and wounded dozens more.
