A’la Hadrat (alaihir rahmah) was a child of 4 years when this incident took place. On that particular day, he was dressed in a long Kurta. As he stepped out of his house, a few female prostitutes walked past him. In order to cover his eyes, A’la Hadrat (alaihir rahmah) quickly held the bottom of his Kurta with both his hands and lifted the Kurta over his face. When one of the prostitutes saw what he did, she said, “Well! Young man. You covered your eyes, but allowed your Satr to be shown.” With his face and eyes still covered, the young A’la Hadrat (alaihir rahmah) replied, “When the eyes are tempted, then the heart becomes tempted. When the heart is tempted, then the concealed parts become tempted.” So shocked and affected was this woman on hearing such a reply from a child that she lost consciousness.
(So instead of averting his gaze, he revealed his private parts to them. This is supposedly a virtue according to his biographers. IP)

At the age of 3, Ala Hazrat was once standing outside the Raza Masjid in Barelvi Sharif. An unknown person, attired in an Arabian garb, approached him and spoke to him in the Arabic language. Those who were present and witnessed this incident heard the young Ala Hazrat converse with the person in pure Arabic. They were surprised. The person who spoke to Ala Hazrat was never seen again in Barelvi Sharif!

It is important to see things clearly for what they are. Only then can we access where we are and how to get to where we want to be—individually and collectively.
What, though, is the greatest oppression, deserving of our greatest struggle? Without question, it is the one with the most enduring consequences. And what oppression has the most enduring consequences for you and me? Without question, our own sins.
What oppression has the greatest consequence for those around us in this land? In a word, rejection of Allah. What are we doing to end that oppression? Where is the outpouring of passion and protest regarding that?
The martyrs among the companions died not for human dignity, not for social justice, and certainly not for land rights. They suffered and died for upholding La ilaha illa Allah Muhammadun rasul Allah. Their defense of land was not for the sake of property—it was because the land was the land of Islam—the land of La ilaha illa Allah.

It was 1099 (925 years ago). Wearing no turban as a sign of mourning, the Qadi of Damascus Abu Sa’d al-Harawi (originally from Herat, Afghanistan) burst into the spacious diwan of the caliph al-Mustazhir Billah in Baghdad.
Standing before the Caliph he said, ‘How dare you slumber in the shade of complacent safety, leading lives as frivolous as garden flowers while your brothers have no dwelling save the saddles of camels and the bellies of vultures? Blood has been spilled. Beautiful young girls have been shamed, and must now hide their sweet faces in their hands!’
‘It was a speech that brought tears to many an eye and moved men’s hearts’ the historians would later write. The entire audience broke out in wails, but al-Harawi had not come to elicit sobs.
‘Man’s flimsiest weapon,’ he shouted, ‘is to shed tears when swords stir the coals of war.’
Harawi travelled for three long weeks in the summer through the desert from Damascus to Baghdad, not to plead for pity but to alert the Caliph of the calamity that had befallen the people in Sham and to implore them to intervene.
The Franj—the Crusaders—had taken Jerusalem on a Friday, the 22nd day of Sha’ban in the year 492 AH after a 40 day siege. Today is the 925th anniversary of the fall of al-Quds.
The Caliph al-Mustazhir Billah began by expressing his profound sympathy and compassion. Then he ordered seven dignitaries to conduct an inquiry into the events. Nothing else was heard from that committee.
It would be fifty years before there would be a proper mobilization against the Franj invaders.
The crusades would take place over two hundred years. And when you read the detailed accounts of the crusades from historians like Ibn Jubayr and Ibn al-Athir one thing stands out: Muslims have been their own worst enemies.
Disunity, backstabbing, and betrayal. Petty kingdoms that preferred power and wealth over the Deen. Weakness and frivolity. That was the story of the crusades and that is the story today as well. Before it was petty Ta’ifa kingdoms and today it is nation states—the reality remains.

I once did some work for a Breilvi publisher. Sometime later I got an email from a Deobandi asking if I would help on a project. I told him I was open to the idea. Ten minutes later the "Deo" emailed back telling me to fear Allah because the Deos are kuffar. He was a Breilvi pretending to be a Deo to play gotcha and expose me for being Sullah-kulli. 🤷♂️

Increasingly, fatwas of murder under the name of gustakhi are finding justification from the Hanafi fatawa books. On the حلوة dress scandal, here is what somebody shared:
’’إذا كتب اسمَ ’’فرعون‘‘ أو كتب ’’أبو جهل‘‘ على غرض، يكره أن يرموه إليه، لأن لتلك الحروف حرمةً، كذا في السراجية‘‘. (٥/ ٣٢٣، ط: رشيدية)
It should also be noted that Hanafi works record state-sanctioned gustakhi killing orders because of dubious forms of Takfir. From Majma' 'l-Anhur:
حكي أن فقيها وضع كتابه في دكان وذهب ثم مر على ذلك الدكان فقال صاحب الدكان هاهنا نسيت المنشار فقال الفقيه عندك لي كتاب لا منشار فقال صاحب الدكان النجار يقطع الخشبة بالمنشار وأنتم تقطعون به حلق الناس أو قال حق الناس أمر ابن الفضل بقتل ذلك الرجل لأنه كفر باستخفاف كتاب الفقيه...

LOL. Trying to pretend to be important by suggesting people are emailing them. A common tactic.
There’s more chance of them emailing this to themselves rather than any of the admin here wanting to engage with those geocentrists.
My advice to them remains that they retreat in peace and stick to what they are supposed to do.

Also, a few days ago someone from the 'Knowledge revival' (lol) telegram group emailed me wanting to talk about having a respectful discussion about Imam Ahmad Rida Khan.
So they can lie, slander and abuse Imam Ahmad Rida Khan and Barelvis publicly but they want to discuss behind the scenes in private? Where's all this courage and bravery gone? If they want to be consistent, allow comments to be turned on their telegram channel or tweet their criticism about Imam Ahmad Rida Khan and they will get replies and will be exposed for being ignorant. You started it in public, finish it in public aswell.
Allow replies on your telegram or tweet your criticism. Don't email me and ask for a private discussion.
