This case is going on in SC at the moment. ego clash bw senior IAS officer vs senior IPS officer!! Both have filed defamation case against each other. Mediation has failed bw them. SC asks them to consider mediating. Remarks - both are brilliant officers. Both are hell bent on destroying careers of each other. Try to resolve it. Referred to the mediation cell. Further proceedings before the trial court stayed.

Wanted to watch both matters listed at item 53 in court 6 & 7. But, look at this. Both courts are moving at the same pace. :/

That Natarajan/ RS nomination case is listed in court 6/ SC today at item 53. Lets see if the writ is withdrawn for being infructuous or there is more to the story! Currently, item 27 is going on. 11:13 AM

If anyone is interested in following Amitabh Thakur matter, may watch it in SC, Court 7 at item 53. Matter came up yesterday also. Mr. Thakur (same so called anti-corruption crusader) appeared in person on vc. Seems he was given voluntary retirement by govt.. some case was filed, -> chargesheet was served to him -> he filed a reply -> without considering it, UP govt appointed Inquiry officer -> Mr. Thakur challenged in CAT -> order came in his favour -> UP govt seemingly challenged it before DB, Allahabad HC -> dismissed. Aggrieved by that order, UP govt has approached SC. SC was inclined to dismiss appeal, but main counsel wasnt available yday so has posted for today. SC bench was of the view that - Mr. Thakur indeed had right to file reply which was decided by CAT/HC also..... Lets see how it goes today/ 12th June 2026

Renotified for 17th June. Matter wasnt heard in detail but counsels for Defendants argued well to show how the prima facie case wasnt made out! Not bad. Lets see what happens on the next date!
