However, significant advances have occurred in the western part of Kostiantynivka. Following the withdrawal of Ukrainian army, the districts of Ukrayinsky Khutir, Zinkovy, and Mykolaivskyi, as well as the “Megatex” industrial complex and the Hospital City, have been taken by Russian army, which now controls just over half of the city, shifting the fighting to the chemical plant (after taking the “Stroysteklo” facility) and the Nahalivka and Novoselivka districts.

Situation on Siversk & Soledar front: The situation on some sections of the front has become clearer. Isolated Ukrainian troops remain north of Kalenyky and Riznykivka, in a “Layer zone” adjacent to the trench systems contested by Russian forces. It is worth noting that this presence allows Ukraine to launch attacks on the rear of Russian army in Kryva Luka, which has been severely weakened following the loss of ground on the north bank of the Donets River.
Further south, isolated Ukrainian groups remain in the forests of Sorochyi, Babachyi, and Zakhidnyi. Situation north of Donetsk & Lyman fronts: While the mechanized assault east of Ridkodub failed to achieve significant results, the advance by the Ukrainian Army’s 3rd Assault Brigade along the Korovii Yar–Karpivka axis proved successful. Since May 22, Ukrainian forces have managed to advance into Karpivka (recaptured in early June) and from there launch infiltration attacks through forested areas to the outskirts of Serednje, Lypove, and Zelena Dolyna.
