Forces in Sana'a have released new footage showing the YNA being repelled in the Jawf Desert. Encouraged by the capture of Jabal an-Nuddar, Jabal Labinah, and Labinah Camp, PLC forces, supported by the Saudi Air Force, launched a major armed assault to seize Jabal Duḩayḑah and Nasr Camp. Despite the disparity in forces, Ansarallah managed to repel the assault, inflicting significant material losses on the enemy forces. Ansarallah then launched a counterattack, which resulted in the recapture of Jabal an-Nuddar and Jabal Labinah by September 12, while Labinah Camp remains in the hands of the YNA, where mopping-up operations are continuing to strengthen their positions. The regional situation undoubtedly plays a role, but there’s no point in using that as an excuse when the new (and not-so-new) economic and political elite continues to enrich itself at the expense of the people, perpetuating the previous system of corruption. Even under those circumstances, the Syrian state was capable of providing basic public services.
