Д. Цыганов. «Свобода — это умение вовремя подчиниться партии»: Филология в сталинскую эпоху
Речь в докладе идет о стратегиях (вне)институционального производства знания в сталинскую эпоху на примере научной биографии академика В. В. Виноградова (1894/5–1969) — «главного», по словам современников, человека в советской филологической науке. Рассмотрение его идей в связи с переустройством политического и научного полей и постоянным перераспределением «символического капитала» позволяет выявить поведенческую стратегию ученого, прошедшего путь от ареста и ссылки до Сталинской премии и управления научным институтом АН СССР, и локализовать подвижные границы академической свободы в «закрытом» обществе.
Важный аспект доклада — анализ опосредованного и непосредственного взаимодействия Виноградова и партийной «верхушки», прагматики его участия в спланированных идеологических кампаниях, а также фактов легитимации собственных научных взглядов посредством их «вверения» Сталину. Контекстуальным фоном этих сюжетов становится рассмотрение конфликтного взаимодействия условно-«марксистской» и «попутнической» линий в советской интеллектуальной жизни конца 1920-х – начала 1950-х годов. Наряду с анализом архивных материалов из фонда Виноградова в АРАН, привлекаются материалы фондов различных организаций и учреждений, а также периодика тех лет, опубликованные воспоминания, дневниковые/мемуарные свидетельства и другие доступные нам материалы.
