🍁DU’A IS YOUR SECRET WEAPON🍁
Can Du’a Change Destiny?
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Nothing changes the Divine Decree except du’a...”
Sunan at-Tirmidhi 2139 | Hasan
Du’a is more powerful than many people realise.
📍HOW IT WORKS:
Qadar has 2 types:
Mubram → Final decree no one can change.
Mu’allaq → Conditional decree. Allah writes: “If My slave makes du’a, I will change it.”
So when you raise your hands:
Sick? → Du’a can be your cure. 26:80
Broke? → Du’a can open doors. 40:60
Heartbroken? → Du’a can give you better than you lost. 2:186
The Sahaba didn’t say “It’s written, so why bother?”
They made du’a like their life depended on it... because it does.
EXAMPLE:
Musa AS made du’a → The sea split. 26:63
Yunus AS made du’a → The whale let him go. 37:144
Zakariya AS made du’a → He got a son in old age. 19:5-6
Never underestimate a tear at 3AM.
Allah might be rewriting your story because of it.
Ya Allah, accept our du’as, change our decree to what is best, and don’t let us be from those who give up.

“There is no servant who recites in the morning of every day and the evening of every night,

three times, except that nothing shall harm him.”

| 7 | The Secret to Getting Your Du'as Answered Can Be Found in the Du'a of Prophet Sulayman (AS).
Allah tells us about the beautiful du'a of Prophet Sulayman (AS):
قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَّا يَنبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِيٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
"He said: My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
Qur'an 38:35
Look carefully at the order.
Before Sulayman (AS) asked for anything, he first asked for forgiveness.
"My Lord, forgive me..."
Then notice something else.
After asking for forgiveness, Sulayman (AS) made an enormous request:
• A kingdom unlike any other.
• Control over the winds.
• Authority over the jinn.
• Unparalleled power and dominion.
He did not limit his request.
Many people believe in Allah's power, but deep down they secretly doubt whether Allah will do it for them. So they ask for little.
But Sulayman (AS) teaches us:
When asking Allah, think bigger than your circumstances.
Because Allah's treasures never decrease.
Then he ended his du'a with:
إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
"Indeed, You are the Bestower."
Al-Wahhab is the One who gives freely, abundantly, and repeatedly without asking for anything in return.
SubhanAllah, Sulayman (AS) mentioned the Name of Allah that perfectly matched his request.
And this is another beautiful secret of du'a:
Call upon Allah through His Beautiful Names.
• Need provision?
Call upon Ar-Razzaq.
• Need mercy?
Call upon Ar-Rahman.
• Need forgiveness?
Call upon Al-Ghafur.
• Need a gift, a blessing, or what seems impossible?
Call upon Al-Wahhab.
So the du'a of Prophet Sulayman (AS) teaches us a beautiful formula:
• Begin with istighfar.
• Ask Allah for even what seems impossible.
• Mention the Name of Allah that connects to your request.
• Trust in His limitless generosity.
Because when you ask the One who is Al-Wahhab, never think your request is too big.
O Allah, indeed You are the Bestower, so grant us from Your bounty and Your mercy that which will delight our eyes in this world and the Hereafter. | 391 |
| 8 | 💫 Sayyid al-Istighfār: The Best Prayer for Seeking Forgiveness
The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allāh is:
اللهم أنت ربي، لا إله إلا أنت ، خلقتني وأنا عبدك، وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء لك بنعمتك علي، وأبوء بذنبي، فاغفر لي فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت
The Prophet (ﷺ) added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6306]
Transliteration: Allāhumma anta rabbī, lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduk, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā’istaṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayy, wa-abūʾu laka bidhanbī, fa’ighfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfir al-dhunūba illā ant.
Translation: O Allāh, You are my Lord, there is no God but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise (to honour it) as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely none can forgive sins but You. | 418 |
| 9 | The supplication (dua) that made Anas Ibn Malik (Radi Allahu anhu) one of the wealthiest and most blessed people in Madinah was a direct, three-part prayer offered by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Anas's mother, Umm Sulaim, requested the Prophet to pray for her son when he began his service as his servant.
The Dua (Supplication)
"O Allah, increase his wealth and his children, and bless him in what You have given him."
Allahumma akthir malahu wa waladahu, wa barik lahu fima a'taytahu.
Allah answered the Prophet's prayer for Anas in three distinct ways:
• Immense Wealth: Anas (radi Allahu anhu) became one of the wealthiest of the Ansar. His date orchards were legendary and uniquely fertile, yielding fruit twice a year when all others in Madinah only produced once.
• Abundant Progeny: He was blessed with a massive family, surviving to see well over 120 children and grandchildren in his lifetime.
• Long Life: The Prophet's prayer for abundant life resulted in Anas (Radi Allahu anhu) living past the age of 100, making him one of the very last surviving companions.

He (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) said: "The nearest the Lord comes to His servant is in the middle of the night, so if you are able to be of those who remember Allaah at that time, then be so." [4]
He (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) also said: "The nearest a servant is to his Lord is when he is prostrating, so supplicate much therein." [5]
He (sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam) also said: "Verily my heart becomes preoccupied, and verily I seek Allaah's forgiveness a hundred times a day." [6]
He also said: The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the Sayyidinal Istighfar.

| 13 | Musa عليه السلام only had a stick.
Yunus عليه السلام had nothing but a Dua.
Nuh عليه السلام built a wooden ark with nails, while the whole world was drowning.
Their means were simple, but their certainty in Allah was powerful. It was never about the resources. It was always about the Tawakul (reliance upon Allah).
No matter how weak you feel or how limited your options seem, keep your
heart tied to Allah. Like Musa عليه السلام
said on the day of Ashura when trapped between the sea and Pharaoh:
إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِين
"Indeed, my Lord is with me, and He will guide me." (Surah Ash-Shuaraa:62). | 1 057 |
| 14 | Hasbi Allahu wa nimal wakeel was the dhikr Ibrahim عليه السلام made when he was being thrown into fire. A fire that was build up and lit for a month according to some narrations. A fire that his family approved of and gathered to witness him burn in.
If you are burning through the fires of this life and your family is just a spectator to it remember to make the dhikr of Hasbi Allahu wa nimal wakeel - Allah is with me and He is the best disposer of affairs.
ALLAH IS SUFFICIENT FOR ME - I DON'T NEED ANYONE ELSE.
If this dhikr was good enough for Ibrahim عليه السلام abul ambiya, it should be good enough for the followers of Ibrahim عليه السلام.
Allah cooled down the fire to grant Ibrahim عليه السلام ease and safety.
Allah will grant you similar ease and safety.
You don't need anyone save Allah to control your circumstances. Flee to Allah - He will protect, honour and safeguard.

| 19 | The Virtue of Supplicating While in Prostration
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The closest that a servant is to his Lord is while he is in prostration, so increase your supplications.”
When a person supplicates to Allah, he is near to Allah, and Allah is near to him, as Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said:
﴿وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ﴾
“And when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be rightly guided.” [Al-Baqarah: 186]
The closest a person comes to his Lord is when he is in prostration. This is because prostration contains the utmost humility before Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. You place the noblest and highest part of your body—your face—upon the ground, in the place where feet tread, out of reverence and glorification for your Lord, the Mighty and Majestic.
In this state, Allah draws near to you, and you draw near to your Lord. Therefore, increase in supplication while in prostration, whether you are prostrating in an obligatory prayer or a voluntary prayer, and whether your supplication concerns matters of this world or matters of the Hereafter.
All of it is good, because supplication itself is an act of worship.
If you were to say: “O Allah, increase my wealth.”
Or: “O Allah, provide me with a beautiful home.”
Or: “O Allah, grant me a comfortable vehicle.”
And similar supplications, there is no harm in that, even if it is during an obligatory prayer.
It has been reported in a hadith:
“Let one of you ask his Lord even for the strap of his sandal.”
The strap of a sandal is something very small, yet a person should ask Allah for everything, because every request you make to Allah is an act of worship.
Then know that whenever you ask Allah, you are successful in every circumstance.
For Allah will either:
• Grant you what you asked for,
• Or avert from you an evil that is greater,
• Or store its reward for you on the Day of Resurrection.
Therefore, whoever supplicates to Allah will never be deprived.
So increase in supplication to Allah, and increase in seeking His forgiveness.

| 20 | GATHER THEM THREEFOLD
Seek forgiveness, recite the Hawqala, and send abundant blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ.
Astaghfirullāh, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh, Allāhumma ṣalli wa sallim wa bārik ʿalā Nabiyyinā Muḥammad.
Gather these three often: seeking forgiveness, the Hawqala, and blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, and you will soon witness relief by the permission of Allah Almighty.
Benefits:
Seeking forgiveness (Istighfār) brings mercy and opens doors of provision.
(Qur’an 71:10–12)
The Hawqala (Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh) is a treasure from Paradise and a source of strength.
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6409; Sahih Muslim 2704)
Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ brings blessings, forgiveness, and relief from worries.
