Some African Web3 builders prefer to put a different location in their bios and also many devs and creators in my region hesitate to follow and support local builders because they believe X might limit their reach based on their location I understand why some choose not to disclose where they're based. Some have experienced projects initially approving them only to reject or remove them after discovering their region. That’s very disappointing! Imagine being offered an opportunity to build a project only for the attitude toward you to change the moment someone discovers you're from Africa. Suddenly you're labeled as broke before they evaluates your skills or the value you bring. I wouldn’t call it racism, but rather a bad reputation as it reflects stereotypes and a damaging perception of Africa that puts a hardworking and talented people from getting a fair chance Evidently there are incredible devs, active builders, creative minds and authentic communities. We deserve to be recognized for our contributions not judged by our geography Take a look at Nigerian builders, they've been making significant progress in driving on-chain activity and adoption, but Africa’s on-chain movement is much bigger than one country. There’s so much potential here. No matter what happens, I’m proudly based in Ethiopia, East Africa but my reach is global I don't think your location limit your potential the value you bring does. POV: when you finally run into the dev who rug pulled your favorite TON memecoin in public 🔫 ​you give TON memecoins a bad name

Day 11 I got scammed yesterday when I bought a honeypot token without doing my research It happened in the evening. I was checking out the $CMD69 chart on RedoTrade and went to look at the trending (HOT) memecoins board because $CMD69 was at the TOP #1 spot I wanted to see if it was still on top and that’s when I saw this unbelievable token sitting at the top. It looked too good to be true I don’t know what I was thinking at the time because the first thing I did after watching the chart go up like crazy was immediately buy it blindly with the $25 sitting in my wallet Then I went to share it on my TG channel to ask if anyone had any information about the token. But before that I immediately started doing my research and couldn’t find any data about it I rushed back to sell the token but the trading bot had already labeled it as a scam and there was nothing I could do at that point That’s what FOMO gets you For a moment I forgot that the main value was context and attribution, which lowers the chance of buying purely out of FOMO So this is a big lesson for me. I got off easy and I hope you can learn from my mistake and always do your own research before you ape in This would have never happened if I had used Conso Signals What I should’ve done was what I usually do and that is to use Conso Signals for retrospective tracking and check the stats of that CA. I might have seen it coming and could have easily distinguished a valid token from a honeypot, since the analytics filter obvious honeypots out of the performance numbers So I learned my lesson and today I started using the new Trading feature on Conso and bought 10 $GRAM worth of $VOLYA to get positioned for the TON MEME SZN DYOR!
