That is the real Singularity question and if that feedback loop becomes sufficiently powerful, humanity could find itself in a situation where Tech progress is no longer moving at a speed that human institutions, governments or even human understanding can follow This does not mean extinction is inevitable It means something more unsettling and that is we may be approaching a transition for which we do not yet know how to define the finish line and that is precisely why the most controversial question deserves to be asked: What happens if the intelligence we create eventually becomes better at creating intelligence than we are?
