A ceremony was held at the Wonsan Naval Base to officially commission the new Kang Kon (52) guided-missile frigate into service with the Korean People's Navy (KPN) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). With its commissioning, the KPN now operates two warships of this class. The first was officially commissioned in June. The third and fourth vessels are already under construction, while new naval bases are being rapidly built to accommodate the new classes of warships for both the Western and Eastern fleets. Overall, the program appears to be progressing remarkably quickly.

Several drones launched from Libyan territory, or from a vessel or uncrewed boat that departed from Libya, struck the LADY MARIIA, a Russian-registered cargo vessel, while it was sailing eastward in the Mediterranean Sea. It is worth noting that Ukraine also used Libya as a base to attack the Russian gas carrier Arctic Metagaz off the Libyan coast.

Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) Mi-28N/NM and Ka-52/M attack helicopters are increasingly being used to intercept FP-1 and MICH-2000 drones, effectively serving as specialized drone hunters in rear areas alongside Tor-M2 and Pantsir-S1M air defense systems. The Mi-28 uses its 30mm Shipunov 2A42 cannon for close-range engagements, supported by the OPS-28M multispectral electro-optical system and N025 mast-mounted radar, which can detect low-RCS targets at ranges of up to 5 km. Its automated fire-control system calculates lead angles to improve hit probability and reduce ammunition expenditure. The Ka-52M has an advantage in poor weather, with its advanced Rezets active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar providing better resolution for detecting small drones against ground clutter than the Mi-28's N025 radar. For longer-range engagements, both platforms can employ 9M342 Igla-S missiles and 9A1472 Vikhr-1 laser-beam-riding missiles, allowing them to engage targets beyond the effective range of the cannon.

Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthis) have severed the Taiz–Al-Mukha link after capturing Al-Kadha in southeastern Yemen. Ansar Allah forces are advancing toward Al-Barih and attempting to encircle Taiz City while pushing west toward Al-Mukha, around 37 km away. Their current objective is to seize Jabal Habashi, which would give them fire control over the remaining roads into Taiz. In the direction of Al-Khukhah, fierce fighting is ongoing around the strategic town of Hays, a key road junction.

The IRGC Navy has released footage showing strikes on oil tankers attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz outside the agreed-upon route. The attacks were carried out using Raad-3 and/or Rezvan loitering munitions.

Patria has completed the assembly of its first Pratt & Whitney F135 engine for Finland’s F-35A multirole fighters. Under the agreement, Patria will assemble F135 engines from 2025 through 2030. New footage from the latest round of fighting shows IRGC Aerospace Force operators fueling Ghadr-family liquid-fueled medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) with Inhibited Red Fuming Nitric Acid (IRFNA), an extremely reactive and toxic liquid rocket oxidizer, inside underground missile base tunnels. The footage also shows stored propellant components being inspected, followed by missile assembly, loading onto launchers, missile launches, and strikes on Israel.

Earlier today, two explosions occurred at the General Maintenance Center of the RAM-2 “Bolívar” Mechanized Artillery Regiment in Viacha, La Paz Department, Bolivia. The explosions were reported at around 2:30 PM in an area used to store pyrotechnic materials belonging to the Ministry of Defense. At least two people were killed, 59 injured (including 52 civilians and 6 military personnel), and seven others remain missing.

Boeing has delivered the 22nd F-15EX to the U.S. Air Force. It will be the first F-15EX stationed at Kadena Air Base in Japan. The United States plans to deploy 48–72 F-15EXs to Japan. This aircraft is part of the initial EX order, while Boeing plans to increase production to 48 aircraft per year to meet both U.S. and foreign demand. The U.S. Air Force has ordered approximately 300 F-15EXs.

Specialists from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence (GUR/HUR) special unit “Group 13” struck a Russian K-300P Bastion-P coastal defense missile system in Crimea. The Bastion-P can launch P-800 Oniks supersonic cruise missiles, which can engage both maritime and land targets, as well as 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missiles. The “Group 13” operators also destroyed two fuel trucks and struck a command-and-staff vehicle belonging to Russian forces on the peninsula.
