This success enabled Russian soldiers to advance even further north, entering Novoandriivka. There is as yet no Russian consolidation, but this is expected to take effect in the coming days after Ukrainian troops withdrew towards the eastern quarries.

Situation on Orikhiv front: During the last week, the situation for Ukrainian army in Orikhiv-Mala Tokmachka has continued to deteriorate. In Orikhiv, it is now safe to say that assault units are operating in the southern part of the town, where they have managed to consolidate their positions. Meanwhile, Russian troops have used the plantations south of Mala Tokmachka to infiltrate the long stretch of the locality, whilst the main fighting with Ukrainian forces continues in the vicinity of the prison.

Situation on Huliaipole & Novomykolaivka fronts: During the last week, new Ukrainian counter-attacks have succeeded in recapturing significant areas to the west of the T-04-01 road. Lisne and the eastern plantations were recaptured, as were much of Vozdvyzhivka and the northern outskirts of Verkhnya Tersa, following the elimination of the small Russian presence there.
Advances were also made east of Dolynka (reports of a Russian capture do not correspond to reality) and Kopani, from where forces are also advancing towards Verkhnya Tersa. Meanwhile, further south, the Russian army made minor advances south-west of Staroukrainka.

Situation on Huliaipole, Novomykolaivka & Pokrovskaya fronts: During the last week, Russian troops have continued to exploit the porosity in the front line to reach the localities of Zelene and Shevchenkivske. The ‘kill zone’ prevents an accurate assessment of the front line, so the approximate situation is determined by which side has the greater presence in the area. Consequently, the localities of Yehorivka, Vishneve, Verbove, Oleksiivka, Stepove and Ternove are under Ukrainian control and are being used by Ukrainian units to continue infiltrating further south. Meanwhile, further south, the ‘kill zone’ appears to have shrunk, due to the complete elimination of the Ukrainian presence around Rivnopillya following five months of fighting.

Situation on Komarskaya, Velikonovoselkovskaya & Velikomikhailovskaya fronts: During the last week, the last remaining Russian troops in Vorone, Voskresenka and Yanvarske have withdrawn from both locations towards the Donetsk Oblast, from where they are attempting to hold the front line around Maliivka, Shevchenko and the main Ukrainian line of defence (Ukrainian troops have been trying to break through there for at least three weeks). Meanwhile, Russian army has launched operations to push Ukrainian forces from the outskirts of Komar towards the locality of Myrne, whilst further north they have successfully driven the Ukrainians out of Yalta.
