Notice to All Taxpayers: Key Provisions of the New Tax Administration Amendment Proclamation (No. 1434/2026) 📣 The Tax Administration Amendment Proclamation No. 1434/2026, which amends the Federal Tax Administration Proclamation, has been officially published in the Negarit Gazette and enacted as of July 30, 2026 (Hamle 23, 2018 E.C.). The Proclamation introduces essential rights and obligations designed to make tax administration fair, efficient, and modern. Key Highlights of the Proclamation 1. Settlement of Tax Disputes via Conciliation Out-of-Court Settlement: Taxpayers can settle tax disputes with the Tax Authority through a neutral mediator. The conciliation process is entirely voluntary and confidential. Special Opportunity: Taxpayers with pending appeal cases initiated prior to the proclamation's enactment may apply to resolve their cases via conciliation within 60 days from the date of ratification. 2. Conditional Tax Clearance Certificate Eligibility: Taxpayers carrying outstanding tax liabilities can obtain a Conditional Tax Clearance Certificate if they have a pending appeal/grievance or have entered into a formal installment payment agreement. Scope of Use: The conditional clearance allows taxpayers to renew business or professional licenses, participate in public tenders, conduct vehicle/machinery technical inspections, and secure bank loans. 3. Adjustment of Tax Assessments & Statute of Limitations Correction of Errors: A tax assessment notice may be amended by the Tax Authority or upon request by the taxpayer in cases of arithmetical/calculation errors, new evidence, or misinterpretation of the law. Statute of Limitations: Standard self-assessments or notice assessments carry a 5-year limitation period. However, in cases of proven tax fraud, the limitation period extends to 10 years. 4. Failure to Issue Invoices & Administrative Penalties Failure to Issue Invoices: A mandatory, non-waivable administrative penalty of 100,000 ETB applies to each transaction where an invoice/receipt is not issued. Criminal Escalation: Failure to issue invoices escalates to criminal charges only if the taxpayer has been administratively penalized twice within a single tax year and commits the violation for a 3rd time. Fraudulent Invoicing / Under-Invoicing: Recording conflicting prices on identical invoice copies for a single transaction to understate value attracts a 100,000 ETB penalty along with 5 to 7 years of rigorous imprisonment. 5. Liability of Legal Entities and Officers Managerial Accountability: When tax violations are committed by a legal entity, the general manager or finance manager shall be held liable. Exemption Defense: Managers will be exempted from liability if they prove that the violation was committed without their knowledge or consent, or that they had implemented adequate internal control mechanisms to prevent such non-compliance. 📍 Additional Note: Fulfill your tax obligations in a timely manner by complying with the Customer Charter, electronic invoicing protocols, and QR code regulations to support lawful business growth.

ለጌርጌሴኖን የአዕምሮ ሕሙማን መርጃና ማገገሚያ ማዕከል ሁለተኛ ዙር ድጋፍ ተደረገ! ************************************ (ጷጉሜን 2/2018 ዓ.ም መካከለኛ ግብር ከፋዮች ቁጥር 2 ቅርንጨፍ ጽ/ቤት)   የመካከለኛ ግብር ከፋዮች ቁጥር 2 ቅርንጫፍ ጽሕፈት ቤት ገቢ ከመሰብሰብ ጎን ለጎን ማኅበራዊ ኃላፊነቱን በአግባቡ እየተወጣ ይገኛል። ከዚህ ቀደም ለጌርጌሴኖን የአዕምሮ ሕሙማን መርጃና ማገገሚያ ማዕከል ድጋፍ ያደረገ ቢሆንም፣ በአካል በተደረገ ምልከታ ያደረገው ድጋፍ በቂ እንዳልነበር በመገንዘብ በድጋሚ ድጋፍ አድርጓል።   የተቋማዊ አቅም ድጋፍ ዘርፍ ምክትል ሥራ አስኪያጅ ወ/ሮ ዑዳ አሊ ቃል በተገባው መሠረት የቅርንጫፍ ጽሕፈት ቤቱን ሰራተኞች በማስተባበር ድጋፉ መደረጉን ያወሱ ሲሆን፣ የታክስ ሥርዓት ዘርፍ ምክትል ሥራ አስኪያጅ ወ/ሮ ሮዛ ጀማል በበኩላቸው ማዕከሉ እያደረገ ያለው አስተዋፅኦ ከፍተኛ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።   የሴቶችና ማኅበራዊ ቡድን አስተባባሪ ወ/ሮ ነጻነት ጥጋቤ እንደገለጹት፤ በአካል ተገኝተው ማዕከሉን በጎበኙበት ወቅት የነበረውን አሳሳቢ ሁኔታ በመመልከት ለሠራተኞች ማብራሪያ ተሰጥቷል። በዚህም መሠረት ከሠራተኛው በፈቃደኝነት የተሰበሰቡ የታሸገ ውሃ ፣ ፍራሽ ፣ የሕክምና መድኃኒቶች እና  የጽዳት ዕቃዎች ለማዕከሉ ማስረከብ ተችሏል ብለዋል።   የማዕከሉ ኃላፊዎችም "እየተደረገ ያለው ድጋፍ ለእናንተ ትንሽ ቢመስልም ለማዕከሉ ግን ወሳኝ እና ትልቅ አስተዋፅኦ አለው" በማለት ምስጋናቸውን አቅርበው ድጋፉ ተጠናክሮ እንዲቀጥል ጥሪ አቅርበዋል።ማዕከሉ በችግር ምክንያት ጎዳና ላይ የወደቁ ወገኖቻችንን በማንሳት እያገገሙ እንዲቋቋሙ እያደረገ ይገኛል።  እንደ ዝክር፣ የሙት ዓመት፣ ልደት፣ ሠርግ፣ ኒካህ እና ሌሎች ዝግጅቶችን በማዕከሉ ውስጥ በማዘጋጀት ወይም በአጭር የጽሑፍ መልዕክት (SMS) 6860 ላይ OK ብለው በመላክ ለማዕከሉ ደጋፊ አባል በመሆን አጋርነትን ማሳየት እንደሚቻል ጠቁመዋል፡፡ የበጎ አድራጎት ሥራችን ተጠናክሮ ይቀጥላል!   ግብር÷ ለሃገር ክብር! ወቅታዊ፣ ትኩስ እና የተሟሉ መረጃዎችን ለማግኘት፡- ቴሌግራም፦ https://t.me/mormto2 ፌስቡክ፡- https://web.facebook.com/info.mto2/ ቲክቶክ፡-https://www.tiktok.com/@mto2education ኢሜል፡- mormto2taxeducation2023@gmail.com ዩትዩብ፡- https://www.youtube.com/@ministryofRevenues-MTO2 አድራሻ፡-  ከሜክሲኮ ወደ ቄራ በሚወስደዉ መንገድ ገነት ሆቴል ፊት ለፊት ካሳ ግራንድ ሞል ላይ እንገኛለን
