March 6th-8th autonomous actionists targeted the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) for profiting off of genocide.
Thursday March 6th— the opening night of Batsheva’s show and the night of their gala—autonomous actionists hit BAM with a lobby full of stank and green and red glitter, in honor of Palestine.
Batsheva Dance Company is funded by the "israeli" Ministry of Culture & Sports, and the "israeli" foreign ministry calls Batsheva "the best known global ambassador of 'israeli' culture." We know what that means: Batsheva is genocide propaganda.
In the midst of the Occupation's expanding genocide in Palestine, BAM has taken a clear pro-genocide stance by deciding to not only host Batsheva's first NYC performance since October 7th, but also hosting a fundraising gala raising at least $500K. The gala was in-house catered and staffed-- making a hugely profitable and star-studded evening for BAM.
Instead of listening to the community’s calls to cancel, BAM chose to invest in increased private security and NYPD (IOF-trained) collaboration to make the gala and show happen, even inviting NYPD into their lobby.
Friday night, BAM’s own increased security protocols delayed the showtime. Saturday, actionists returned with a noise demo to make it clear to BAM, attendees, and the local community— BAM profits from genocide!
From the foundation of the state of "israel" through the First Nakba (1948), establishing arts companies like Batsheva has been a key strategy of the zionist entity to build power for the settler colonial project. By embedding zionism into arts institutions, the zionist entity creates cultural, political and economic ties between "israel" and the West.
Nowhere is this better illustrated than in the NYC performing arts world-- where zionists sit on every major arts institution's board, many of which accept "israeli" state funding, and zionist donors and administrators hold an iron grip on artistic expression, stifling any pro-Palestine voices.
We as New Yorkers, artists and workers must pressure all NYC arts institutions to fully sever ties with “israel.” NYC arts institutions offer essential financial and cultural backing to genocide propaganda companies like Batsheva.
Let’s bring the intifada to the doorsteps of all normalizing performing arts institutions 🔻

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
This is a message to the people
"Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew."
A Call for General Mobilization in Defense of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa
In light of the zionist occupation’s escalating brutal aggression and its perpetration of massacres against our people in the Gaza Strip, as well as its continued crimes in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque—with full American support and complete international silence—
We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), call upon our people, our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world to rise up in a general mobilization this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, in defense of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa; in support of our people’s steadfastness; and in rejection of the occupation’s crimes and those who support it.
We call for intensifying marches and solidarity events in all cities and capitals, making these blessed days of Ramadan days of full-scale mobilization. Use all means to pressure for an end to the killing, siege, and starvation. Support Gaza and heal its wounds, support Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa and strengthen their steadfastness, and expose the crimes of the occupation and the U.S. support behind them.
We call for the following:
First:
To our people in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and occupied Palestine:
Make your way to Al-Aqsa Mosque, remain steadfast and observe i’tikāf (spiritual retreat), confront the occupation and its settler mobs in all arenas, in support of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa.
Second:
To our people of the occupied interior and in the diaspora on the occasion of Land Day (March 30):
Take to the streets in massive popular marches, rejecting policies of displacement and annexation, and affirming our right of return and liberation.
Third:
To the Arab and Islamic nations and the free people of the world:
Make the upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday days of rage and protest everywhere. Continue to pressure the occupation and its backers through mass demonstrations, besieging zionist and American embassies, and exposing the genocide committed against our people.
Fourth:
To the leaders and governments of the Arab and Islamic world:
Take up your historical responsibilities. Take a decisive stand to end the aggression, lift the siege on Gaza, and support the steadfastness of our people.
Fifth:
To mosque preachers and religious speakers:
Dedicate the upcoming Friday sermon to the issue of Palestine, Gaza, and Al-Quds. Urge the Ummah (nation) to support and stand with the Palestinian people, to enhance their resoluteness, their steadfastness on their land, and their defense of their land and holy sites.
Let the coming days be days of overwhelming anger everywhere against the occupation and its backers. Let this enemy and its supporters know that Palestine, Gaza, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa have brave men and free people who answer the call for support and solidarity, raising their voices and taking a united stand against the occupation and those aligned with it.
Let the actions and protests continue until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted.

Sinwar: I am not the leader of a militia, I’m from Hamas. And that’s it. I am the Gaza leader of Hamas, of something much more complex than a militia—a national liberation movement. And my main duty is to act in the interest of my people: to defend it and its right to freedom and independence. You are a war correspondent. Do you like war?
Interviewer: Not at all.
Sinwar: And so why should I? Whoever knows what war is, doesn’t like war.
Interviewer: But you have been fighting for all your life.
Sinwar: And I am not saying I won’t fight anymore, indeed. I am saying that I don’t want war anymore. I want the end of the siege. You walk to the beach at sunset, and you see all these teenagers on the shore chatting and wondering what the world looks like across the sea. What life looks like. It’s breaking. And should break everybody. I want them free.

THREAD by @PplsCityCouncil: 35 years ago today, Dhoruba bin Wahad walked free after 19 years of captivity. Dhoruba was arrested in 1971 and charged with the attempted murder of two NYPD pigs. His arrest is considered to be the first frame up against a member of the Black Liberation Army.
Dhoruba bin Wahad's conviction was part of a broader campaign of political repression targeting both him and the Black Panther Party as a whole. His trial, conviction and captivity is a prime example of the sinister “justice” system in action. The framing of Dhoruba bin Wahad served as the pilot project for a collaborative investigative effort between the NYPD, New York State Police, and the FBI, laying the foundation for what would later become the Joint Terrorism Task Force...

Abolish the UC: Lessons from UCLA’s Gaza Solidarity Encampment
"The modern University is not a benevolent institution committed to liberal values and is simply the academic arm of the anti-black, settler colonial, white supremacist, cisheteropatriarchal, imperialist, capitalistic state, and its commitments will always side with reproducing the violence required to maintain and uphold this society rather than disrupt it. Policing as an institution is the disciplinary arm of the state that relies on violent, carceral logics to discipline radical thought, quell dissent and free speech, and ultimately, protect the interests of capital. Put simply, the University and Policing are just two nodes in the web of institutions that are trying to kill us."

We call on all free forces in America to escalate the confrontation against the American participation in the genocide war
Criminal Trump’s support for the aggression on Gaza is further confirmation of direct U.S. partnership in the genocide of our people
- The White House’s announcement of U.S. President and war criminal Donald Trump’s full support for what "israel" is carrying out in Gaza is a blatant acknowledgment of direct and active American involvement in the genocide against our people in Gaza.
- The U.S. position comes as no surprise; the United States is the head of global terrorism, with a history drenched in the genocide of millions of Indigenous peoples and its criminal wars that have destroyed and annihilated free and oppressed nations worldwide.
- This American support places Washington in direct hostility toward the Palestinian people, making it a full partner in the escalating criminal aggression against Gaza.
- The Front calls upon all free and active forces, along with solidarity networks with our people inside the United States, to escalate actions against these criminal policies and to continue pressuring the criminal U.S. administration to halt its unconditional support for the occupation and its ongoing genocidal war against our people.

@Samidoun_Network: The recent cases are continuing the legacy of these "post-911" assault, from the freezing & designation of the Holy Land Foundation (the raid which happened in early Sept. 2001), the failed prosecution, and then the re-trial, which led to the imprisonment of Shukri Abu Baker and Ghassan Elashi, as well as their three now-released colleagues. Shukri and Ghassan are serving 65-year sentences in US prisons, They are among the longest-sentenced Palestinian political prisoners everywhere -- solely due to their charitable work.
Those who remember that era must remember how we used to always have demonstrations organized by the Islamic Association for Palestine, and how they were gone due to repression, suddenly. The people in the community who were there, and then they weren't anymore. The heavy blanket of state terror and induced fear, building on years of secret evidence, "terrorist" designations of the Palestinian movements, not to mention the ongoing legacy of the Los Angeles 8, of the deportations of Palestinians in the '60s, '70s, '80s.
In occupied Palestine, the Zionist regime will often arrest and imprison the family member of a targeted person, and destroy their family home. Right now in Gaza, entire families are being murdered in both carpet bombings and assassination attacks. They're not yet able to do the latter in the US yet, but they're quite clearly doing the former. Establishing that norm (which, of course, has never been distant from US repression) is one aim of this case.
These cases should call upon all of us to redouble our efforts to normalize the resistance, to end the "terror listing" of resistance organizations, to free Palestinian political prisoners in US and international jails, esp. Ghassan Elashi & Shukri Abu Baker...And certainly to stand with all those who are so targeted, politically, legally, socially and with direct action. The designation of Samidoun as an sanctioned entity in Oct. 2024 wasn't a different policy, it was merely another version of the same policy, with the same goals.
We can't respond to repression by retreating, we can only respond by continuing and advancing as we defend those attacked. Asserting radical politics did not cause these attacks, and asserting liberal politics will not and has not stopped these attacks. (Thread on X)

LIFE IS REVOLUTION: JONATHAN PETER JACKSON JR. ON THE FAMILY LEGACY & THE STRUGGLE TO COME (Interview with Unity of Fields)
We had the honor of interviewing Jonathan Peter Jackson Jr, an artist, scholar, the son of martyr Jonathan Jackson & nephew of martyr George Jackson, who spent the first 19 years of his life living underground. He has a forthcoming memoir, "Notes of a Radical Son."
"One of the things that a lot of people don’t know, so I’ll pass on something new to people who are more familiar with the story, is that George never wanted to plead not guilty for that killing. And if you really stop to think about the true revolutionary spirit of that, you begin to understand George a little bit better. In this way I hope that can fill in a picture of George for the people. But nonetheless, the trial went on, and as it became apparent that things were maybe going sideways, the liberation of the Civic Center in Marin County, California, happened on August 7th, 1970, which is one of our greatest holidays in Black August. My father was killed during that attempt. That event was seismic in a way that is almost incomprehensible in today’s situation."
"I don’t think [prison] is a site of the struggle. I think it’s the site of the struggle. Ithink it is the epicenter of the struggle. Because the thing is: incarcerated peoples are the manifestation of all of the things wrong with capitalist society. And so the unification and resistance of incarcerated peoples is actually the essence of leftist struggle."

Enough silence. Enough complicity. The Palestinian people are being slaughtered as the world watches and is complicit in these crimes.
The genocide against our people in Gaza continues, and global complicity has reached its peak of depravity.
- Amid the escalating crimes of genocide against children, women, and the elderly in Gaza—crimes that represent the most horrific atrocities of the modern era—the global imperialist powers, led by the United States, continue their absolute support for these crimes, whether through military aid or political cover.
- The U.S. administration, led by war criminal Donald Trump, bears full responsibility for these massacres. It openly and shamelessly declares its direct participation in the killing and destruction, making it a primary partner in these crimes against humanity.
- We call upon university students, unions, and communities in the United States and Europe to immediately take to the streets, to besiege the White House and the Pentagon—centers of decision-making supporting the occupation—and to deliver a clear message to the murderers that the world will not remain silent in the face of these crimes.
- Intensifying popular pressure on these complicit governments is the responsibility of every free and honorable person who rejects oppression and genocide.
- We also call on the Arab and Islamic masses to take immediate action and not leave Gaza to face the zionist killing machine alone. The situation has reached its breaking point; there is no room for further silence and inaction. Supporting Gaza today is a national and moral duty, and abandoning it is a betrayal of the blood of the martyrs, the wounded, and the oppressed.
- People must mobilize by all means—through demonstrations, sit-ins, civil disobedience, and a comprehensive boycott of the zionist entity and its supporters.
- Gaza and its resistance will not be broken, despite all attempts by the occupation and its allies to eliminate it. Resistance continues, the Palestinian people will never surrender, and Netanyahu and his fascist government will inevitably fall, just as all tyrants and criminals throughout history have fallen.

Repost from Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network
The US-Zionist genocidal assault on Gaza is continuing, with over 100 airplanes dropping US-made weapons on Palestinians in schools, refugee camps, mosques and residential buildings, with over 86 martyrs and hundreds of wounded so far. The US and the Zionist entity bear joint and several responsibility for this crime. It is long past time that they are held accountable.
The resistance in Palestine, in Yemen, in Lebanon and throughout the region are imposing that accountability, but it is critical that the people bearing the brunt of the tons of bombs and weaponry not hold this burden alone.
Let us be very clear: the wave of deportations, arrests, threats and attacks by the fascist US government — and fellow imperialist powers — is meant to clear the path for the US-Zionist assault on Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, all of occupied Palestine and the region. It is meant deliberately to create state terror and to quell the movement in support of Palestinian liberation.
They want to create the conditions whereby the resistance in the imperial core does not respond and is suppressed into silence and ineffectiveness. They want the growing mass movement to leave the people and the Resistance in Palestine, in Yemen, in Lebanon, alone.
This is not a coincidence of timing, it is a strategy of multi-pronged assault and counter-insurgency that has always been part of the imperialist-Zionist plan. Deportations, bans and arrests are part and parcel of aiding, abetting and committing genocide.
The Resistance is on the front lines, defending the people of Palestine and humanity itself, refusing subjugation, genocide and dispossession, not only for the past 18 months but for the past 76 years and beyond. The Zionist and imperialist regimes, despite their hundreds of tons of bombs and weapons of mass destruction dumped on the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, have failed to suppress the Resistance or uproot the people, and they will not end their humiliation with more genocide.
This is the time to make it clear that their repression, their bans, their designations and their arrests -- their state terror and imposed fear -- will never allow them to get away with genocide. It is the time to be louder, clearer and stronger than ever. It is time to stand with the Resistance, in defense of Palestine and in defense of humanity. Amid the US bombs, millions took to the streets today throughout Yemen to make it clear that their genocidal war machine would never suppress Yemeni resistance and humanity. It is imperative that the movement throughout the imperial core take inspiration from this example and do no less, and to nurture an international popular cradle of resistance that is confrontational and directly aims to make their genocide impossible.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. Victory to the Resistance, defeat for imperialism and Zionism, liberation for Palestine.

🚨 Over 40 martyrs and 150 wounded, mostly children, have been reported so far after the zionist entity declared the ceasefire over and carried out a significant series of bombings after approving the plan last Saturday.
In western Khan Younis, 14 martyrs ascended after tents housing displaced people were bombed, setting them on fire. 4 other martyrs ascended east of Khan Younis, and shelling targeted western Rafah. In the north, dozens of wounded arrived at Awda Hospital in Jabalia, and 9 martyrs ascended in Gaza City. 4 martyrs ascended in Nusseirat camp, where a 4-story-building was destroyed.

Anonymous communiqué just received: "Last night, some people threw paint balloons and wrote "free them all" on the Columbia University president's mansion. This is the least they could do to protest Columbia's support for the Zionist genocide and their repression of anti-Zionist organizing.
The state kidnapped Mahmoud Khalil, and Columbia administrators did not even say his name. We don't want them to say his name; we want the liberation of all people and the abolition of the USA.
It is right and urgent to organize against imperialism, capitalism, and the state. Fascist and liberal repression will intensify, but it will not succeed. No cops, no prisons, no borders. Land back. Free Palestine."
