💥 Why we need to stress more and more on learning the Correct Aqeedah: In the Hadeeth it is mentioned that the very first question that will be asked in the grave will be: “Who is your Lord?” The believer will reply: “Allaah is my Lord.” And as for the disbeliever, he will be in the state of shock and will say: “Hah! Hah! I don’t know.” So, the believer will be able to answer the question, but not the disbeliever. 🌴🌴🌴 Now contemplate on this: among the disbelievers there is a large number of Arab Christians – those who pronounce the name of their Lord as “Allaah” in the same way as the Muslims do. And the same name is used over and over again in their Arabic Bible. Furthermore, they also say: “Alhamdulillaah”. So then, why won’t they be able to answer the question?! 🌴🌴🌴 It is well known that the "God" which they refer to as Allaah, they also ascribe many deficiencies to Him as well. Part of their belief is that “God” gets tired, “God” begets a son, “God” makes mistakes and regrets, “God” is weak, and “God” can die and so on. 🌴🌴🌴 This is why in the Qur’aan Allaah تعالى negated all this and freed Himself of all the deficiencies that were/are ascribed to Him. He تعالى mentioned that He does not get tired, He does not sleep, He does not beget nor is He begotten, He does not forget, He does not oppress, He does not break His promise, He does not deceive, He is the ever living and does not die, and so on. 🌴🌴🌴 So, merely knowing Allaah by His Name is not sufficient. We have to know Him the way He تعالى has described Himself – we have to affirm for Him what He تعالى has affirmed for Himself in His Book and through His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم; and we have to negate for Him what He تعالى has negated for Himself in His Book and through His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم. After knowing all this, we have to convert our knowledge into action by Worshiping Him Alone, without associating any partners with Him in His worship. And these acts of worship should be upon the Sunnah (teachings) of the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم. ONLY THEN WILL WE BE ABLE TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS IN THE GRAVE. 🌴🌴🌴 And this is a clear warning to those deviants (the Jahmies, the Asharees, the Sufees and their likes) who ascribe deficiencies to Allaah – those who DENY that which Allaah تعالى has affirmed for Himself, like denying the Face, the Hand, the Sight, the Hearing, the Speech. These deviants have trodden the path of the Christians in ascribing deficiencies to Allaah. THE HUGE SIZE OF THE PEOPLE OF HELL When the People of Hell enter the Fire they will be huge in size, in a form that none can comprehend, except the One Who Created them. *According to a hadith narrated by Abu Hurayrah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The distance between the shoulders of the Kaafir in Hell will be like three day’s travelling for a fast rider” [Muslim, 4/290]* *Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The molar of the kaafir or the eye-tooth of the kaafir, will be like Uhud, and the thickness of his skin will be like a journey of three (days)”. [Muslim, 4/2189, at-Tirmidhi, al-Haakim, Ibn Maajah and Ahmad]* Zayd ibn Arqam said, “The man who is destined for Hell will become huge in preparation for it, so that one of his molars will be as big as Mount Uhud”. This is narrated by Ahmad, who attributes it to the Prophet (ﷺ) but Zayd did not state that he heard it from the Prophet (ﷺ). (Silsilat al-Ahadith as-Sahihah, 4/131, al-Albani said its isnaad is saheeh according to Ibn Maajah and Ahmad) *Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The kaafir’s skin will be forty-two cubits thick and his molar will be like Uhud and the space he occupies will be as wide as the distance between Makkah and Madinah.” [at-Tirmidhi] [Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh 3/103, sahih hasan]* Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The molar of the kaafir on the Day of Resurrection will be like Uhud, and the thickness of his skin will be seventy cubits. His upper arm will be like al-Bayda’, his thigh will be like Warqaan and the space he occupies will be like the distance between me and ar-Rabdhah” [al-Haakim and Ahmad – Silsilah al-Ahadith as-Sahihah, 4/94. al-Baydaa` could be the name of a mountain or it may refer to the well-known city in Morocco] This increasing of the kaafir’s body size will increase his suffering and torment. Commenting on the hadith narrated by Muslim on this subject, an-Nawawi said, “All of this is in order to intensify the suffering, and all of this is possible for Allah (ﷻ). We must believe in it, because the truthful (Prophet) has told us about it” [Sharh an-Nawawi ‘alaa Muslim, 17/186]. Ibn Katheer in a comment on these hadith said, “So that their punishment and suffering may be more severe, as Allah (ﷻ) the Severe in punishment says: *“…that they may taste the Penalty”. REWARD FOR FASTING AASHOORA (10th OF MUHARRAM) The Prophet ﷺ was asked about observing the fast on the 10th day of Muharram, and he ﷺ replied: "I anticipate that Allah will forgive (due to it) the sins of the preceding year." (Muslim) The Prophet ﷺ said: “If I live till the next year, I would definitely observe fast on the 9th (in addition to 10th of Muharram)." The Prophet (saw) emphasized fasting on the day of Ashura (the 10th day in the month of Muharram), which falls on Friday, July 28th inshAllah. It is highly recommended to fast both the 9th day and the 10th day (Thurs, Jul 27th and Fri, Jul 28th). If that is not possible, scholars have noted that one can fast on the 10th and 11th day (Fri, Jul 28, and Sat, Jul 29th). Nonetheless, it is still commendable to just fast on the 10th day. Narrated by Aisha (RA): The people used to fast on 'Ashura (the tenth day of the month of Muharram) before the fasting of Ramadan was made obligatory. And on that day the Kaaba used to be covered with a cover. When Allah made the fasting of the month of Ramadan compulsory, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever wishes to fast (on the day of 'Ashura') may do so; and whoever wishes to leave it can do so. From Anas – RadhiAllaahu anhu – who said: ‘A Bedouin came to the Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – and said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah!  Teach me some goodness.’ So the Prophet  – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – took him by the hand and said: ” قل: سبحان الله، والحمد لله، ولا إله إلا الله، والله أكبر. ‘Say: ‘Far is Allaah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allaah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah, and Allaah is the Greatest.’ (Subhana Allaahi, wal hamdu lillaahi, wa la illaah ila Allaah, wa Allaahu Akbar.)’ The Bedouin counted them on his hand, when he finished he began to reflect then came back to the Prophet. The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – smiled and said: ‘The desperate one has reflected.’ Then the Bedouin came and said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah! ‘Far is Allaah from imperfection, and all praise be to Allaah, and there is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah, and Allaah is the Greatest.’  This is for Allaah, what is for me?’ The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said: اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني وعافني وارزقني واهدني ‘Say: O Allaah forgive me, and have mercy on me, and pardon me, and provide for me, and guide me.’ The Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said to him: ‘O Bedouin! If you say: ‘SubhanAllah’, Allaah says: ‘you have spoken the truth, If you say: ‘Alhamdulillah’, Allaah says: ‘ you have spoken the truth, If you say: ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’, Allaah says: ‘you have spoken the truth, If you say: Allaahu Akbar, Allaah says: ‘you have spoken the truth, If you say: O Allaah forgive me, Allaah says: I have done so, If you say: O Allaah have mercy on me, Allaah says: I have done so, If you say: O Allaah give me provision, Allaah says: I have done so, Then the Bedouin  counted it seven times on his fingers,  then went away.’ Shaykh al-Muhaddith al-Albaani -Rahimullaah – said : Collected by al-Bayhaqi in ‘Shuab al-Eemaan’, and this Isnaad is Jayyid (good) its narrators are trustworthy as for al-Hasan bin Tawab; then I had become exhausted searching about him until I found who he was.
