. In surah al-Nisa', Allah ﷻ says: مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا

“Whoever desires worldly rewards, then both worldly rewards and the rewards of the hereafter are with Allah. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.”

📖Ṣurātul Ān-Niṣā 134 Ibn Kathir رحمه الله تعالى opens up his explanation of this ayah by writing: يا من ليس همه إلا الدنيا ، اعلم أن عند الله ثواب الدنيا والآخرة ، وإذا سألته من هذه وهذه أعطاك وأغناك وأقناك “O you whose only concern is this life, know that the rewards of both this life and the next are with Allah. So if you ask Him for both this and that, He will give you, enrich you, and protect you.” 📖Tafsir ibn Kathir 2/434 .

A rare surprise .. For the first time after 5 years, Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Sudais leads the congregation in afternoon prayer (Asr) at Masjid Al Haram. Did you know (?). Shaykh Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaylī on Gaza Ceasefire Since the bloody events in Gaza began, we have been praying for our people in Gaza and asking our Lord to grant success to Muslim rulers to end this war and to alleviate the suffering of our brothers. We thank Allāh for what we have heard of reconciliation, and we ask Allāh to actualise it. The events of Gaza, from the beginning to the end, show every fair person that Ahl al-Sunnah have Fiqh (understanding) of the outcomes at the beginning of events, and Fiqh of the reality of matters at the end of events. This is unlike others, who do not have insight into the Fiqh of the outcomes at the beginning, nor do they have an understanding of the reality of matters at the end.
