It’s a race to survive. Men filming themselves feeding stray dogs on St. Martin’s Island were quickly surrounded by a huge pack of hungry animals, all scrambling for whatever food they could reach. The dogs are jumping over and climbing on top of each other as the food is thrown into the crowd. Many online criticized the method, saying tossing food into such a dense pack only forces already desperate animals to fight each other for a meal. Stray dogs have reportedly become a major issue on the island, with locals and tourists complaining about their growing numbers.
