Right place, right time.
Fishermen off the coast of Chile were working when a group of orcas approached their boat — and one clearly needed help.
The animal had rope, buoys and a weight tangled around its tail and stayed close enough for the fishermen to act.
They hooked the floating line, pulled it within reach and carefully cut the rope away with a knife.
Once free, the orca simply swam off to rejoin the rest of the group.
Pretty wholesome day at sea

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has criticized Ukraine for not placing enough weapons orders with German defense companies, arguing that Germany’s massive support for Kiev should also benefit its own defense industry.
Germany says it has provided or earmarked more than €43 billion in civilian assistance and around €58 billion in military aid to Ukraine since 2022.
Wadephul said he raised the issue with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during his visit to Kiev last month, telling him that German taxpayers expect German defense companies to be involved in Ukraine’s procurement.
The comments come as Germany and other NATO members increasingly finance weapons deliveries to Ukraine, while Berlin also pushes for Ukrainian men of military age living in Germany to return home.
