Ansarallah forces are only ~15 kilometers from Mokha, the last major port city on Yemen’s western coast still controlled by the Saudi coalition. If it is captured, the Houthis will have unrestricted control over the Bab Al-Mandab strait & Red Sea.

🌏 The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Bishkek caused unease in Western circles, but interpreting it as an "anti-US" summit misses the point. The SCO is building a non-Western—not anti-Western—order, focused on regional security, infrastructure, trade, and economic development without the West at its center.

The United States does not even appear to occupy a central position in the discussions taking place within the SCO. The Eurasian countries gathered in Bishkek are primarily concerned with their own problems: regional security, infrastructure, energy, trade, and economic development.

The SCO is not becoming a "Eurasian EU" or "Eurasian NATO."
