✊ May is one of the most important months of the year. This month several relevant dates are celebrated, starting with Labor Day. May 1st is celebrated all over the world. Among Western nations, this is a time to celebrate the important achievements of workers, such as their labor rights, while in the former socialist bloc the date serves as a reminder to mobilize the masses in the constant struggle between capital and labor. However, discussions about the nature of work in the contemporary world are becoming increasingly scarce. Only in a new geopolitical order will it be possible to overcome current economic and social problems. 💬 Lucas Leiroz writes @lucasleiroz 🔔 More analysis 🚀 Subscribe 🌐 Join us on VK

A stylised facts approach to the war in Ukraine

Russia is in control of the battlefield but not the media war where NATO’s hired hacks still spin tales of abducted children and civilian massacres. ❗️Join us on Telegram, Twitter, and VK.Contact us: [email protected] First off, hats off to Russia Today’s fine article on Sudan, which synopsised the conflict there into a short introduction, plus six digestible sub-sections titled as follows: what caused the fighting; what do the warring factions want; humanitarian catastrophe; failed mediation; foreign…

Ireland’s protests and colour revolutions – a contrast in reactions

The response of the Irish political and media establishment to the current protests lies in contrast to their support for Euromaidan, the Western-backed regime change operation launched in Ukraine more than a decade ago. ❗️Join us on Telegram, Twitter, and VK.Contact us: [email protected] On Thursday night, footage would quickly go viral throughout Ireland of police brutality in Newtownmountkennedy, a small rural town in County Wicklow. ⚫️ Ten years ago this week, a shocking and brutal massacre was perpetrated by supporters of the NATO-backed Kiev regime in Odessa. At least 42 men and women were murdered on May 2, 2014, when the Trade Unions House in the historic port city was set ablaze by a fascist mob. Now 10 years on, the Western media do not even make any mention of the atrocity. In earlier years, the Western media sought to distort the incident by claiming that it was a confused melee and the tragic result of a clash between unknown rival factions. There were even deplorable attempts by Western media to make out that claims of an atrocity were “Russian disinformation”.
The cover-up has given way to total silence as if the horrific event was consigned to an Orwellian “memory hole”.
What happened in Odessa on May 2, 2014, was not some random event of chaotic violence that got out of control. This is what the Western media initially reported. No, it seems quite clear now that the massacre was a well-planned, deliberate act of mass murder to terrorize the Ukrainian opposition into complying with the NATO regime. It was an act of state terrorism. 💬 Read more in this week’s Editorial 🌐 Read more Editorials 🚀 Subscribe 🌐 Join us on VK

The Korean War and the mistakes of the Soviet government

If it were not for imperialist intervention, the North Korean government would have taken the revolution to the south and liberated the entire nation, Eduardo Vasco writes. ❗️Join us on Telegram, Twitter, and VK.Contact us: [email protected] Faced with growing threats of invasion of northern Korea by Syngman Rhee’s troops supported by the USA, in 1949 the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland realized that the national-democratic revolution was still pending and launched a set of…

🇧🇷 Lula – and some solid academic elites away from power – know full well that as a neo-colony, Brazil will never fulfill its potential of being, side by side with China, as prophesized by Paz, the great protagonist of the 21st century.
That was the major takeaway of my psychedelic tour of Tropicalia: Sovereignty.
