В соответствии с Федеральным законом «О выборах депутатов Государственной Думы Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации» от 22 февраля 2014 г. № 20-ФЗ и Указом Президента Российской Федерации № 428 от 16 июня 2026 г. на 20 сентября 2026 г. назначены выборы депутатов Государственной Думы Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации.
Сообщаем, что в целях реализации избирательных прав российских граждан, проживающих в Австралии, 20 сентября с 08:00 до 20:00 по местному времени будут открыты следующие избирательные участки:
📍№ 8009 в Посольстве России в Канберре (78 Canberra Avenue, Griffith, ACT 2603);

💬 On July 30, the Kiev regime attempted to strike a site within the perimeter of the Zaporozhskaya Nuclear Power Plant (#ZNPP).
The target was the dry spent nuclear fuel storage facility, specifically the building housing a transporter used to move spent nuclear fuel containers.
❗️ We strongly condemn this attack, yet another manifestation of Bankova’s cynical and dangerous policy aimed at undermining the nuclear safety and security of this Russian nuclear power plant.
Refusing to heed the voice of reason, the Zelensky clique is moving ever closer to a dangerous line, risking a radiation accident, the consequences of which would be felt across all Europe.
ZNPP personnel and units continue to come under direct Ukrainian strikes, while attacks on civilian infrastructure in the nuclear workers’ city of Energodar have not ceased. Today, Ukrainian militants targeted equipment critical to the operation of the nuclear power plant.
☝️ Such actions by the Kiev regime would be impossible without the constant political support it receives from Western countries. It is this support that gives Zelensky and his entourage the false sense of impunity and encourages them to embark on ever more dangerous ventures. | 154 |
| 3 |  ☢️ Zaporozhskaya Nuclear Power Plant:
On July 30, an attack on critical infrastructure at the Zaporozhskaya Nuclear Power Plant (#ZNPP) has been thwarted.
Today, a Ukrainian UAV attack was detected on the premises of the ZNPP, operated by Rosatom, near the dry spent nuclear fuel storage facility.
The drone was discovered in close proximity to the building housing a transporter used to move spent nuclear fuel containers.
❗️ The explosive device was promptly neutralised. No one was injured, and no damage was reported.
Nevertheless, the attack itself constitutes an extremely dangerous incident.
The transporter is a unique piece of specialised equipment with no equivalent. Had it been damaged, the ZNPP could have lost the ability to safely carry out scheduled transport and technological operations involving spent nuclear fuel.
This would have disrupted the plant’s capacity to handle spent nuclear fuel, significantly complicated essential scheduled operations and created additional risks to the facility’s long-term safe operation.
The very fact that a strike targeted infrastructure responsible for the safe handling of spent nuclear fuel indicates that the attack was aimed at critical nuclear power plant infrastructure, damage to which could have had long-term consequences. | 98 |

A boy has returned to Russia to reunite with his mother. Four other children are being reunited with relatives in Ukraine and third countries.
A five-year-old boy recently returned to Russia. In 2020, he remained with his father in Ukraine, while his mother was unable to bring him home for various reasons. In March 2026, she learned that the child’s father had died, and assistance was provided to reunite the family.
Today, with the support of the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, the mother of a nine-year-old girl travelled from Germany to reunite her daughter, who had been staying with her grandmother in Russia since 2023.
Three more children will soon reunite with their relatives in Ukraine and Germany. We met with the children and those accompanying them in Moscow. Each family has its own circumstances:
A 15-year-old boy had been living with close relatives in Russia. His mother, who moved to Ukraine in 2022, is unable to collect her son herself.
A six-year-old boy is in a similar situation. After his mother left for Ukraine, he remained in the care of his grandmother.
Another 15-year-old boy was left with relatives following the death of his parents. However, his older sister in Germany wishes to take responsibility for his upbringing, and the boy also wants to live with her.
☝️ All the children will soon be reunited with their loved ones.

Humanitarian efforts to reunite families are being carried out on the instructions of President Vladimir Putin, following requests from parents or close relatives who have the necessary legal grounds, with due consideration given to the children’s best interests and all the circumstances of each case.
Special thanks go to First Lady of the US Melania Trump for her unwavering commitment and active involvement in efforts to reunite children with their families.
The International Committee of the Red Cross also continues to provide support.
❗️ In total, with the participation of children’s rights commissioners, 31 children from 23 families have reunited with relatives in Russia, while 145 children from 118 families have reunited with relatives in Ukraine and third countries.

⚡️ Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rodion Miroshnik:
In the Kremennaya Municipal District of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Ukrainian UAVs are scattering anti-personnel mines – so-called “new petals” (or butterfly mines) – at civilian sites.
According to local residents and authorities, Ukrainian forces have begun actively using these new anti-personnel mines for the remote mining of civilian facilities across the LPR. They have been found at sites regularly visited by local residents.
The mines consist of a plastic container filled with explosives and fitted with a pressure-activated fuse. Their detonation can result in severe injuries, traumatic limb amputation or death from blood loss or shock.
Last year, Ukraine announced its withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention banning the production and use of anti-personnel mines. The Kiev regime is now using anti-personnel mines and explosive devices on a massive scale to mine civilian facilities.
Reports of civilians being injured or killed by Ukrainian mines emerge every week. ☝️ Such actions constitute a serious war crime. | 68 |

💬 Over the past week, the criminal actions of Ukrainian militants resulted in 21 child casualties, including 7 children killed. For the first time since the beginning of the year, the total number of civilian casualties approached 500 in a single week. Kiev’s “terrorist war” is now claiming an average of 70 civilian casualties every day.
Ukrainian armed groups carried out a series of deliberate, coordinated attacks on civilian facilities, energy infrastructure and logistics hubs, causing civilian casualties and extensive destruction.
The highest numbers of civilian casualties were recorded in the Belgorod Region, the DPR, the LPR, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions. Ukrainian militants deliberately targeted civilian sites in densely populated areas, seeking to inflict maximum harm on civilians and infrastructure.
On July 20-26, Ukrainian neo-Nazi shelling resulted in 492 civilian casualties: 435 people were injured, including 14 minors, while 57 people were killed, including 7 children.

💬 The Kiev regime continues its attacks on civilian transport, in a maniacal and compulsive revenge on civilians for their own growing failures at the front.
In the morning of July 28, Ukrainian neo-Nazis launched a drone strike in Shebekino at a commuter bus, injuring 19 local residents. Six sustained severe injuries.
In the same morning, a Ukrainian drone attacked a regular bus in Gorlovka, Donetsk People’s Republic. Five people were injured.
☝️ In both cases, drone operators saw and knew they were attacking civilian targets unrelated to the Russian Armed Forces. The Ukrainian military commanders who issued the criminal orders to attack passenger buses consciously breached international humanitarian law.
The Russian Investigative Committee has opened criminal cases on the terrorist attacks. All the accomplices will be held accountable. Redemption is inevitable.
❗️ We decisively condemn the latest atrocities by the Kiev regime against civilians.
We wish all the victims a speedy recovery.
We call on all the responsible parties from the global community, including competent international bodies and independent media to respond, publicly and unambiguously, to the Ukrainian army’s bloody campaigns.
Silencing Kiev’s crimes will be seen as instigation of terrorism and connivance to breaching international humanitarian law in conflict.

Key points:
• As for our “Western partners’” constant attempts to deceive Russia, our patience eventually runs out. It was no coincidence that, shortly after the start of the special military operation, President of Russia Vladimir Putin summed up our relations with the West and Europe by saying: “There is no going back to the way things were before February 2022”.
• The slogans of inflicting a “strategic defeat on our country”, of “decolonising Russia” have resurfaced in the West – once again, an explicit euphemism for breaking up our country. We see clearly what the West is plotting, and everyone needs to see this in order to understand that the situation is serious. President of Russia Vladimir Putin makes no secret of it. The entire self-proclaimed “civilised” world has risen against us.
• Now that Zelensky, while steadily retreating in Donbass and on other fronts, has turned in desperation to outright terrorist acts, and the West sees that many of his long-range weapons are reaching their targets, they have begun promoting this phase of the conflict as a “turning point” – as proof that “Ukrainian resolve can ultimately defeat Russia”.
• Russia is making daily progress on the front line – not as quickly as we might wish, but while preserving the lives of our servicemen. Ukraine (and its Western handlers) is trying to compensate for its failures on the battlefield by carrying out terrorist attacks aimed at disrupting the way of life people have grown accustomed to.
• I am very proud that our people understand the current situation correctly – as our history and those who defeated Nazism taught us. All the more so because today we are fighting the direct followers and descendants of those Nazis, with essentially the same forces aligned against us. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz openly says that Germany intends to become Europe’s leading power once again. If you are prepared to speak so openly, then be prepared for the consequences.
• Russia's national interests in foreign affairs are to remain a sovereign power and an independent civilisation, to ensure the reliable security of our borders and to make sure that no one even considers telling us how to organise life within Russia.
• Russia's principal national quality is something the West lacks. Our civilisation respects its ancestors – those who created it, built its cities and defeated its enemies.
• The West is now telling us that it will still decide when the time is right to resume negotiations. They envisage talks at one table involving Europe, the US, Zelensky and President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Before that, they insist on a truce and a ceasefire. The Western countries would then deploy multinational forces led by France and Britain and only afterwards sit down for talks. What does that mean? It is an ultimatum. The front line would be frozen, while the Nazi regime would remain in place.
• We must rely solely on ourselves, as our President has repeatedly stressed. The events unfolding now have grave consequences. But I want to reiterate: we are completing the work of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who defeated Nazism – while our former allies allowed it to survive and take root once again.

✨ 17 июля 2026 г. исполнилось 180 лет со дня рождения выдающегося русского ученого, антрополога и путешественника Николая Николаевича Миклухо-Маклая.
📹 В этот день, в День этнографа, Посол России в Австралии М.И.Петраков направил видеообращение участникам Маклаевских чтений-2026, которые прошли на родине Н.Н.Миклухо-Маклая в Окуловке (Новгородская область). Глава дипмиссии подчеркнул особую важность наследия Николая Николаевича, который провел значительную часть своей жизни в Австралии. Отметил, что его гуманитарная и научная деятельность, основанная на идеях равенства и уважения к культурному многообразию народов, продолжает служить «нитью, связывающей Зеленый континент с Россией».
🗺️ 19 июля в Сиднее состоялось международное культурно-научное мероприятие по случаю 180-летия Н.Н.Миклухо-Маклая, организованное Российско-Австралийским Содружеством и Центром РГО в Австралии при поддержке и участии Посольства и компании Travelvisa2go. Были приглашены представители дипломатических миссий, деловых кругов, ученые, высокие гости из Папуа-Новой Гвинеи. • В последнее время из США и Европы всё громче звучат призывы к созданию азиатского аналога Североатлантического альянса. Некоторые даже придумали название — «Организация Индо-Тихоокеанского договора».

💬 28 июля – особая дата в отечественной истории. Именно в это день исполняется 1038 лет принятия на Руси христианства, провозглашения его государственной религией. Тогда же чтится и память святого равноапостольного князя Владимира.
В «Повести временных лет» отмечается, что это поворотное событие произошло в древнем Херсонесе, который славяне называли Корсунью. Символично, что этот античный полис был пристанищем для первых последователей христианства ещё в I веке нашей эры. Сегодня же город является без преувеличения одной из жемчужин на карте России.
Ряд отечественных и зарубежных философов усматривают в решении князя Владимира поистине цивилизационный выбор, характеризуя его как «разворот от языческого варварства к Европе». Именно поэтому особенно печально наблюдать за теми, кто в наши дни в Старом свете буквально уничтожает христианскую религию.
Уже более десяти лет захвативший власть на Украине режим не прекращает гонения на каноническую православную церковь, происходят захваты храмов, нападения на клириков и прихожан. Особое возмущение и отвращение вызывает «инвентаризация» святых мощей в Киево-Печерской лавре. Столь позорные процессы преследуют одну цель – уничтожить православие на Украине.
На этом фоне всем здравомыслящим людям полезно вспомнить историю, поразмышлять над её уроками. Прекрасным поводом для этого является эта знаменательная дата.

Именно в этот день в 988 году князь Владимир Святославович вместе со своей дружиной принял крещение в городе Корсунь (Херсонес) — центре византийских владений в Крыму.
Хотя 988 год считается официальной датой Крещения Руси и утверждения христианства в качестве государственной религии в Древней Руси, первые шаги к его распространению были сделаны значительно раньше.
Уже в 860-х годах известны отдельные случаи принятия христианства на Руси, а в 957 году в Константинополе крестилась княгиня Ольга — бабушка князя Владимира.
Принятие Русью христианства стало событием поистине эпохального исторического значения, своего рода поворотным моментом. Оно не только определило духовное развитие нашей страны, но и способствовало укреплению государственности, развитию культуры и письменности, а также расширению связей с другими христианскими государствами.
Через византийскую традицию Русь приобщилась к богатейшему духовному и культурному наследию, что во многом предопределило её дальнейший исторический путь.

💬 Kiev continues its soaked in blood campaign of terror against the civilian population of Russia’s regions.
As a result of large-scale overnight aerial attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 25 and 27 against Rostov-on-Don and other residential localities in the Rostov Region, five people were killed, including a child, and at least 13 people were wounded, among whom was a teenager.
Dozens of people were evacuated from residential buildings damaged by hostile unmanned aerial vehicles – in total, five apartment buildings, 19 private houses, an office building, and commercial and warehouse premises sustained damage.
We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, and wish a swift recovery to all those injured.
These brutal and cynical crimes constitute further evidence of the neo-Nazi nature of the Kiev regime, which has deliberately targeted the civilian population in an effort to offset its mounting failures on the front line and to demonstrate to its ruthless Western sponsors its capacity to inflict harm on Russian children and women.
☝️ All those complicit in these acts of terror “under the banner” of Kiev will be identified by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and will face inevitable accountability.
❗️ We unequivocally condemn these inhumane terrorist acts and call on all responsible governments, relevant international bodies, and independent media outlets to issue a clear public condemnation of Kiev’s atrocities in the Rostov Region.

🕯 On July 27 (Day of Remembrance for the Child Victims of the War in Donbass), people across Russia are praying for the souls of the innocent children killed in Donbass.
In Novosibirsk, I paid tribute to their memory, sharing the grief of those thousands of miles away.
The tragic list of children and teenagers killed began 12 years ago, with the start of Ukraine’s military aggression against civilians.
“Gunned down together with the entire family; killed by a sniper’s bullet; struck by a mine on the way home from school; killed in a stroller while out walking with her mother...” These accounts of children’s deaths are unbearable to read.
We have no right to forget these crimes. Every culprit must be punished. Our servicemen continue fighting the enemy on the battlefield so that bombs never again fall on children’s beds.
