However, we urge you to refrain from pressuring your colleagues to return. Instead, simply relay the information you receive from departments or the institution and allow your fellow residents and interns to make their own decisions. Actively encouraging them to end the strike is entirely unacceptable. We are sacrificing everything—not for personal gain, but for the entire medical community. Many of our colleagues are imprisoned, not because they committed any crime, but because they dared to demand our rights. Betraying them—and us—by pushing for a premature return is both irrational and unjust. We implore you to reconsider your actions. Our sole intention is to uphold this movement for the sake of our detained colleagues, the future of our profession, and the betterment of the healthcare system. *We MUST continue the strike.* This struggle is a golden opportunity—perhaps the only one we will have in a century—and we must use it wisely. Whether you believe it or not, some of us—including you—could face detention in the coming days if we return without achieving our demands or securing third-party mediation. Here are the key potential consequences: The main demands of Ethiopian health professionals are: 1- Fair and increased salaries 2- Access to health insurance 3- Affordable housing 4- Other benefits and improved working conditions to alleviate financial and emotional stress and So on up to 12 Questions of Ethiopian health professionals. These demands have been formally organized into a letter with ten key points submitted to authorities, with a 30-day deadline for response, and warnings of potential work stoppages if unmet. If Ethiopian authorities do not address the demands and needs of health professionals, the key potential consequences are the following:- 1. Mass Exodus of Health Workers:-Brain Drain: Skilled professionals may leave the country for better opportunities abroad. 2. Increased Burnout and Mental Health Crisis:-Without systemic support, burnout will rise, leading to higher rates of depression, anxiety, and even suicide. 3. Decline in Quality of Care:-Overworked and unsupported staff are more prone to medical errors, poor decision-making, and neglect of patients. 4. Workforce Attrition and Strikes:- labor strikes may disrupt services, especially in critical care and emergency units. 5. " ➡️ " የጤና ባለሙያ እየራበው፣ እየጠማው፣ ለቤት ኪራይ የሚከፍለው ሳይኖረው እና ጤናዉ እየታወከ እንዴት የሌላዉን ጤና ይጠብቃል ? " ➡️ " በርካታ ሐኪሞች ሌላዉን ለማዳን ሲሉ ጤናቸዉን አጥተዋል ብዙዎችም ቤተሰቦቻቸውን በትነዉ ሞተዋል ዳሩ ግን ለነሱም ሆነ ለቤተሰቦቻቸው ኢንሹራንስ የለም ! " የሚሉት የጤና ባለሙያዎች እያሰሙት ካለው የቅሬታ ድምጽ መካከል ዋና ዋናዎቹ ናቸዉ። ቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ ያነጋገራቸው የኢትዮጵያ ነርሶች ፣ አዋላጆችና ላብራቶሪ ባለሞያዎች የጤና ማህበራት ጉዳዩን በማህበራዊ ሚዲያዎች መመልከታቸዉን ገልፀዉ " ጥያቄዉን የምንጋራዉ ነዉ  " ብለዋል። ባለሞያዎቹ " ለጤና ዘርፉ ተገቢው ትኩረት ባለመሰጠቱ የሚፈለገዉ ዉጤት እየተመዘገበ አይደለም፤ ለአብነትም ከነርስ የጤና ሙያ መስክ በ100 ሺህ የሚቆጠሩ ባለሙያዎች ቢኖሩም ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ በርካቶች መስኩን እየለቀቁ ነው " ሲሉ አስረድተዋል። አክለውም ፤ " በሀገራችን ሁሉንም የጤና ባለሙያ ዘርፎች ያካተተ አንድ የጋራ ማህበር አለመኖሩ ለችግሮች ፈጣንና የማያዳግሙ ዉሳኔዎች እንዳይሰጡ አሉታዊ ተፅእኖ አሳድሯል " ብለዋል። በዝርዝር ያነሱት ሃሳብ ምንድነው ? " ከዚህ ቀደም ወደ ዉጪ ሀገራት ይደረግ የበረዉ የባለሙያዎች ስደት አሁን አሁን ሙያ በመቀየር ሀገር ዉስጥ ሆኗል። በቅርቡ በፀደቀዉ የጤና ፖሊሲ ላይ የጤና ባለሙያዎች የጤና መድህን ድርሻ መንግስት እንዲሸፍን ቢወሰንም በቂ ካለመሆኑም በላይ አፈፃፀም ላይ ከፍተኛ ክፍተት አለ። የጤና ባለሙያዎች በሚሰሩባቸዉ የጤና ተቋም ሳይቀር ከፍለው እንዲታከሙ ነዉ የሚደረገዉ ፤ ይህ ሙያዉንም ባለሙያዉንም እየጎዳው ነዉ። በርካታ የጤና ባለሙያዎች በስራ ላይ እያሉ በሚደረሰባቸው የጤና፣ የስነ አዕምሮና አካላዊ ጉዳቶች የሕክምናና የማካካሻ ድጋፎችን አያገኙም። ጤናን ከተቀዳሚ የሀገሪቱ ፖሊሲዎች አንዱና ዋነኛዉ ነዉ በምትል ሀገር በጤና ባለሙያዎች ላይ የሚስተዋለዉን የደሞዝ፣ የጤና ኢንሹራንስና ሌሎች ጥቅማ ጥቅሞች ጉዳይ በመንግስት በኩል ተገቢው ትኩረት አላገኘም። ባለፉት ዓመታትም እንደዚሁ የጤና ባለሙያዎች ቅሬታ እየተስተጋባ መልሶ የሚቀዘቅዝበት ሁኔታ አለ። በተለይም ከቅርብ ጊዜያት ወዲህ መንግሥት የጤና ባለሙያዎች ሕይወት የሚታደጉ እንደመሆናቸዉ መጠን ተመጣጣኝ የደመወዝ ክፍያ፣ ሙሉ የጤና ኢንሹራንስና ነፃ የጤና መድህን አገልግሎት ሊያሰጣቸዉና ጥቅማ ጥቅሞቻቸዉን ማስከበር  ሲገባዉ ቅዳሜና እሁድን ጨምሮ በበዓላት የሚሰሩባቸዉን የትርፍ ሰዓት ክፍያቸዉን ጭምር በሚከለክሉና በግዳጅ አገልግሎት እንዲሰጡ የሚደረጉባቸዉ አከባቢዎች ላይ የመፍትሔ እርምጃ አለመዉሰዱ ችግሩን አባብሶታል " ብለዋል። እንደ መፍትሔ በጠቆሟቸው ሃሳቦች ምን አሉ ? 🔴ለጤና ባለሙያዎች ስራቸዉን የሚመጥን የደመወዝ ማስተካከያ ቢደረግ እና የጤና ኢንሹራንስ ለጤና ባለሙያዎችና ለቀጥተኛ ተጎጂ ቤተሰቦቻቸው ቢሰጥ። 🔴በሕዝብ ተወካዮች ምክር ቤት ቢፀድቅም አፈፃፀም ላይ ሰፊ ክፍተቶች ስላሉ የጤና መድህን አገልግሎትን ያለ ገደብ እንዲያገኙ ቢደረግ። 🔴በትርፍ ሰዓት ክፍያ ጉዳይ ፈጣን እንዲሁም የማያዳግም ዉሳኔ ቢሰጥ። 🔴በጤና ባለሙያዎች ማህበር በኩል በልዩነት አንድ የጋራ ማህበር አልያም " የጤና ባለሙያዎች ካዉንስል ቢቋቋም " በዘርፉ በየጊዜዉ የሚነሱ ችግሮችን በዘላቂነት እንዲፈቱ ያደርጋል። ቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ ሀዋሳ #TikvahEthiopiaFamilyHW @tikvahethiopia
