A US lawmaker listed the names of prominent Jeffrey Epstein linked figures in an extraordinary attempt to force the Department of Justice (DOJ) to fully release government materials on the millionaire who provided sex services to the global elite.
Representative Thomas Massie believes the administration of US President Donald Trump is covering up for Epstein's associates and is seeking to pass an amendment to strengthen the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law a year ago.

US Homeland Security blasts "garbage" NYT report claiming detainee torture
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has dismissed as "garbage" a New York Times report alleging torture and abuse of detained deportees, accusing the newspaper of spreading false claims about federal immigration enforcement.
In a report published on Sunday, the Times said it interviewed ten people deported from the US to Liberia and Equatorial Guinea, several of whom said they had no ties to the African countries. They alleged physical abuse, harsh restraints and degrading treatment while in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)...
I am absolutely willing to believe the allegations. Not because I "love illegals omg," but because ICE is very obviously packed with bloodthirsty thugs. I've seen the video of them celebrating shooting the shitlib nurse. I'm not blind. I don't think it's a stretch to imagine them torturing detainees who are illegally detained without trial to begin with.

🇩🇪 A recording of well-known former leader of Germany's main left-wing party SPD, Michael Vetter, has appeared online.
The Nazi salute he performs to the webcam is probably the least of his problems, as the man does it naked, with his exposed and visible genitals.
Vetter was vice-chairman of the SPD in Pulheim, North Rhine-Westphalia. He is currently said to no longer be a member of the party, but it is unclear exactly since when.
On August 28, a recording appeared on X showing a naked Vetter filming himself. At one point, he stands up with his genitals visible – though censored by the Wuppi account that published the footage – raises his arm and says "heil Hitler."
Interestingly, the AfD has not officially made much use of this recording.
An exception is AfD MP from Lower Saxony, Vanessa Behrendt.
She attacked the SPD over separate, much more serious sexual allegations, including additional footage showing Vetter masturbating on what appears to be a baby doll. Behrendt described the party as a haven of a "Pädosumpf" – a "pedophile swamp."

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on 31 August accused Israel and Russia of being behind the recent migrant crisis, which saw tens of thousands of Moroccans storm the North African Spanish enclave of Ceuta in July.

On 30 July, roughly 70,000 migrants stormed the Moroccan border and swam around barriers to reach Ceuta, believing online rumors that they would receive asylum in Europe simply by reaching Spanish soil...

CIA chief proposed trilateral talks during Moscow visit - Axios

Iran oil revenues surpass $7bn despite US war, siege
Tehran has transferred $7.5 billion in oil revenues to its central bank since March, despite Washington's blockade, sanctions, and the deadly US Israeli war that killed thousands, Iranian media reported on 29 August. Iran's Fars News Agency said the funds are sufficient to cover the government's foreign currency expenditures from July through December.
