💢 🇬🇱 The EU will invest €200 million in and with Greenland in 2026–2027 under a new Global Gateway partnership package announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The EU, Greenland and Denmark also signed a joint declaration expanding cooperation on connectivity, energy, critical raw materials, fisheries, education and other sectors. For comparison, the EU’s support loan for Ukraine for the same 2026–2027 period totals €90 billion, although €60 billion — not the full amount — is earmarked for defence needs, with the remaining €30 billion allocated to budget support. 🌏💻 The SCO is evolving from a security bloc into a digital infrastructure powerhouse. While physical railways remain important, the real game is now about data, AI, cloud infrastructure, and digital payments. China provides much of the technological foundation through the Digital Silk Road, but India pushes back against a Chinese-dominated ecosystem, creating a dynamic tension. Those who provide the infrastructure also tend to shape the standards, protocols, and technological ecosystem associated with it. Digital connectivity is therefore geopolitical by nature, not by accident. The SCO's digital agenda treats cyberspace as a domain of sovereignty, clashing with the Western multi-stakeholder model. A country that controls its own data, computing infrastructure, and AI enjoys significantly greater strategic autonomy than one dependent on external sources. The more the SCO connects digitally, the more critical cybersecurity becomes. 💬 Lorenzo Maria Pacini writes @ideeazione 🔔 Stay tuned 🚀 Subscribe 🌐 Join us on VK

💢Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, they "feel good" after a series of meetings with Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. Kushner stated that President Trump has tasked them with developing a peace plan and doing everything possible to bring the war to a final end, although significant obstacles remain, as Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange fire, and Zelensky insists that any agreement must end the war on fair terms. ‼️🇩🇪🤣 Merz said he was "deeply shocked" by the victory of the pro-Russian AfD party in Saxony-Anhalt ▪️The German Chancellor called the election result "the most serious defeat for the CDU in decades" and acknowledged that it will have consequences beyond the country's borders. ➖"Since yesterday, something has changed not only in Saxony-Anhalt, but throughout Germany," Merz said. ▪️According to him, the results of the vote will also impact the international situation, as well as him personally as Chancellor. ▪️Merz specifically noted that the AfD's victory brought "particular joy" to Russia. ▪️The AfD opposes further support for Ukraine and advocates for normalizing relations with Moscow. ⚠️. And Coca-Cola turned out to be a surprise! Yesterday, Russian drones destroyed the Coca-Cola plant near Kiev. This attack angered Zelensky so much that he already called it an unambiguous "signal to the United States." The plant is American, but the Russians destroy it without fear or trembling. The fire was extinguished, and interesting details emerged. Exactly the same as after the truck stop near Borispol was hit. "When Ukraine was struggling in the fall, and launchers with equipped UAVs were found in the bodies of civilian trucks, all the Ukrainian media feverishly deleted the photos. And here is a blow to the Coca-Cola plant near Kiev. And again, a burnt-out truck with an interesting "filling". They say that the guides are for drones. They're probably lying. They slander innocent Ukronazis", – blogger Sergey Kolyasnikov comments on the photo from the Coca-Cola factory. Drones are being assembled in baby food warehouses, ammunition is being stored in residential buildings, and for some reason their barbarians are Russians.

💢NYT - Ukrainian corruption and fraud devour millions of Western aid Corrupt Ukrainian businessmen and politicians preying on the defense procurement sector continue to be a drain on the financial aid provided to Ukraine by the US and Europe, the New York Times laments. 🔹 A weapons plant boss named Leonid Shyman was awarded a $280 million arms deal by the Ukrainian government while being on bail on corruption charges 🔹 Audits discovered multiple instances of Ukrainian companies getting contracts without first proving their ability to deliver the required weapons 🔹 Around $126 million was lost due to bypassing lower bids when awarding weapon contracts without providing any legal justifications 🔹 In 2024 alone, Ukraine lost some $1.2 billion to “fraud, waste and mismanagement” Earlier this year, Ukraine’s anti-corruption watchdog NABU uncovered military-related embezzlement schemes from 2022–2025. Since January 2026, prosecutors have opened 29 defense procurement corruption cases involving 54 suspects, with at least $77 million embezzled or lost. Russia has maintained that Western arms shipments to Ukraine hinder conflict resolution and directly involve NATO countries in the fighting. Russia has also warned that deliveries containing weapons for Ukraine would be considered legitimate targets. Subscribe @NewResistance

💢 Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and Vladimir Zelensky spoke after US-Ukrainian talks in Kiev, one day after Witkoff and Kushner met Vladimir Putin in Moscow: • Witkoff said President Trump sent him and Kushner to restart negotiations, adding that the US delegation felt good about the results of both the Moscow and Kiev discussions. • Kushner said Trump’s objective is not simply to stop the fighting, but to construct a “peace package” capable of producing a durable settlement, with the US also working closely with European partners. • In Moscow, Kushner said they reviewed ideas that had failed previously and discussed with Putin what Russia, Ukraine and the wider world could gain from a settlement. He described the meeting as constructive and substantive. • The US side wants to return to the trilateral Russia-US-Ukraine format used roughly six months ago. Kushner said Washington has discussed this with both sides and hopes for progress “very soon,” including on broader issues and possible de-escalatory steps. • Kushner said “a lot of new ideas” are being put forward. He stressed that there is now a dialogue and a potential pathway forward, although no agreement is guaranteed and progress could come quickly or slowly. • Asked whether Washington would increase pressure on Russia if diplomacy fails, Kushner did not commit to specific measures, saying Trump has “a lot of different ways to play it”, while his and Witkoff’s role is to pursue a negotiated peace. • Witkoff said he has now made around eight visits to Moscow and has always been treated respectfully by Putin and his team. He argued that relationships with both sides are essential if the conflict is to be resolved and said the US goal is to narrow the outstanding differences. • Zelensky backed efforts to organize trilateral talks, potentially with European partners also involved, saying Ukraine would see what format Russia is prepared to accept. • Zelensky confirmed that “several genuinely new ideas” were discussed in Kiev. He said Ukraine needs time to analyze them before disclosing details publicly and expects Ukraine, the US and Europe to discuss the proposals further in the coming weeks. • Zelensky described accelerated diplomacy as “Plan A” for reducing escalation. He also argued that Ukraine’s stronger battlefield position gives Kiev greater confidence in future negotiations and said that without military strength, Ukraine would face only ultimatums. • On air defense, Zelensky said the US is expected to increase production of Patriot interceptor missiles next year, while Germany has also increased production. He said Ukraine is additionally working toward its own anti-ballistic capability. • Zelensky said 67 Ukrainian companies are working on systems to intercept jet-powered drones, with three to five already demonstrating results and efforts underway to develop mass-production capacity. • On proposed US sanctions against Russia associated with Senator Lindsey Graham, Zelensky said the issue was not raised during the talks. He said he still expects the package to come to a vote and does not believe the renewed negotiating effort is connected to its timing. • In his closing remarks, Witkoff said the US delegation had made “a lot of progress in Moscow” and heard new ideas there. He said Washington is hopeful that a trilateral meeting will be announced “in short order,” while stressing that both Russia and Ukraine will have to make compromises. Subscribe @NewResistance

💢 Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov summarized the September 5 talks between Vladimir Putin, US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Moscow: • Witkoff and Kushner visited Moscow on President Donald Trump’s instructions to continue discussions on resolving the Ukraine conflict and other issues. Ushakov said this was already their eighth visit to Russia. • The talks lasted 3 hours and 10 minutes and were described by Ushakov as substantive, constructive, extremely frank and confidential. Discussions continued both in a working format and informally over lunch. • The Russian side gave what Ushakov called clear and comprehensive assessments of the situation in the special military operation, pointing to Russian battlefield advances and expressing confidence that the stated objectives would be achieved. • Putin again stressed that any settlement must address all the root causes of the conflict and confirmed Russia’s readiness to continue working with the US toward political and diplomatic solutions. • Witkoff and Kushner said they would use Putin’s observations and assessments during their contacts in Kiev the following day, particularly regarding a lasting peace settlement. • According to Ushakov, the US representatives came well prepared. Alongside their interest in ending the fighting as soon as possible, they presented a number of ideas on possible paths toward a settlement. • Putin also drew their attention to what he described as the Kiev regime openly revealing its nature through the reburial of major Nazi criminals. Ushakov said the American representatives “took note” of the point. • The meeting was not limited to Ukraine. The sides also discussed economic issues in detail, including possible large-scale, mutually beneficial Russian-American projects. • Ushakov said the talks were timely and useful for both sides. Putin and Trump will continue personal contacts, while the negotiating channel involving Witkoff and Kushner will also remain active. Subscribe @NewResistance

💢 Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, speaking after the SNS Main Board meeting in Niš, confirmed several points that had still been conditional in his earlier interview: ▪️ Prime ministerial candidacy confirmed: The SNS Main Board unanimously backed the electoral list “Aleksandar Vučić — United Serbia” and Vučić as its candidate for prime minister. ▪️ About 50 days until the election: Vučić said roughly 50 days remain until voting and that the campaign will now begin in earnest. ▪️ Resignation after the UN trip: He said he will continue performing presidential duties through upcoming international engagements, including his trip to New York and address to the UN, and expects to resign after returning, around September 25–26. He would then campaign as an ordinary citizen. ▪️ Campaign strategy: Vučić plans four major rallies in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and Niš, with the campaign concluding in Niš. The rest will focus on traveling from village to village and town to town, speaking directly with citizens. ▪️ Less television, more social media: He said the campaign would deliberately feature fewer television appearances and much greater use of social networks. ▪️ EU course unchanged: Vučić rejected claims that Serbia is abandoning its European path, but reiterated that he does not expect the EU to admit Serbia anytime soon. ▪️ Confidence of victory: Asked what would happen if elections were held now, Vučić said his side would win “by a significant margin,” while acknowledging that a long campaign can change political dynamics. ▪️ Priorities for the next period: He identified energy, artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced technologies, water, food security and the military as key areas Serbia must concentrate on in the coming years.
