🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 According to the New York Times, CIA director John Ratcliffe, went to Moscow to ask "deliver an urgent message" to FSB director, Alexander Bortnikov about Russia's alleged "high" casualty rate in Ukraine. CIA analysts believe Russian president, Vladimir Putin, is "ill informed" about the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine and unaware of the "high manpower losses" of the Russian Army. Ratcliffe allegedly urged Bortnikov to inform Putin about the "serious need" for Russia to pursue peace negotiations and stop attacking Ukraine. @CIG_telegram

📢 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 President Trump | By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered: Section 1. Purpose and Policy. As I announced in Executive Order 14172 of January 20, 2025 (Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness), it is the policy of my Administration to recognize the extraordinary contributions of the American people and the rich heritage of our history by naming great natural landmarks for our shared achievements. The United States is the greatest protector of the Great Lakes, including the body of water currently known as Lake Ontario. Without the security and investment provided by the United States, this freshwater system would not be open for shipping, recreation, and responsible use to the same extent as it is today. The United States Coast Guard supplies 9 of the 11 ice breaking vessels on the Great Lakes, securing commercial shipping lanes free of charge. The United States has invested nearly $4 billion in protecting the Great Lakes freshwater ecosystem in the last decade, while Canada has invested far less in similar initiatives over the same period. Sec. 2. Lake America. (a) The body of water currently known as Lake Ontario is a tremendous asset to the United States and part of our Nation's heritage. With the deepest parts of the Lake's waters lying within United States territory, the United States claims most of the Lake's volume. The Lake has long been an integral asset to American exploration, settlement, commerce, and defense. From the colonial period through the early republic, the Lake served as a critical artery for American trade, commerce, and military logistics, including the establishment in Oswego of a historic fort and the first United States port of call from the St. Lawrence Seaway, shipbuilding and naval operations during the War of 1812 at Sackets Harbor and other New York posts, and the movement of goods, settlers, and later industrial cargoes that linked the interior of the United States to eastern markets and the Atlantic. Maritime commerce on the broader Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway system -- of which the Lake is the easternmost and gateway segment -- continues to generate substantial economic activity for the United States, supporting hundreds of thousands of American jobs and billions of dollars in annual economic output, cargo value, and related business revenue, with our ports, carriers, and States deriving a significant share of the system's benefits in iron ore, limestone, coal, agricultural products, and other bulk commodities. Water from the Lake is used to supply nuclear, natural gas, and oil-fired power plants and to supply municipal drinking water to nearby communities. United States domestic and cross-border shipping activity on the Great Lakes system has historically underpinned regional manufacturing, steel production, agriculture, and energy supply chains in several States, reflecting the strategic and economic importance of these waters to the United States that continues to this day. The Lake will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping America's future and the global economy. In recognition of this flourishing economic resource and its critical importance to our Nation's economy and its people, I am directing that the Lake officially be renamed as Lake America. (b) Within 30 days of the date of this order, the Secretary of the Interior (Secretary) shall, in coordination with the Board on Geographic Names and consistent with 43 U.S.C. 364 through 364f, take all appropriate actions to rename as "Lake America" the body of water currently named as Lake Ontario, bounded on the south and east by the State of New York, and on the north, west, and southwest by the Canadian province of Ontario. The Secretary, conjointly with the Board on Geographic Names, shall subsequently update the Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) to reflect the renaming of the Lake and remove all references to Lake Ontario from the GNIS, consistent with applicable law. The Board on Geographic Names shall provide guidance to ensure all Federal Government references to Lake Ontario, including on executive department and agency maps, contracts, and other documents and communications, shall reflect its renaming. Sec. 3. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect: (i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or (ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals. (b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations. (c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person. (d) The costs for publication of this order shall be borne by the Department of the Interior. DONALD J. 🗳 🇩🇪 📊 Attempts to ostracize the AfD have fueled both the rise and radicalization of Germany’s far-right party, Thorsten Benner writes. | Foreign Policy A year ago, an Indian opposition politician who had just met with several representatives of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) quizzed me about Germany’s approach to the far-right party. She wanted to better understand the logic of the “firewall” (Brandmauer) according to which all mainstream parties have resolved to never work with the AfD. At the end of our conversation, she voiced doubts about its prospects of success. In her view, India’s experience pointed to the opposite effect: The attempts to isolate India’s current prime minister, Narendra Modi, after the 2002 riots in the state of Gujarat—for which he was held partly responsible—only made him stronger. Today, her skepticism seems more justified than ever. While the cordon sanitaire has so far successfully excluded the AfD from any political responsibility at the state and federal levels, the party has grown to become the strongest party in the polls by a clear margin. At the national level, the AfD sits at around 28 percent. In some eastern German states, it is around or above 40 percent. After the upcoming Sept. 6 election in Saxony-Anhalt, the party may soon enjoy an absolute majority in a state parliament, thus earning responsibility for setting the region’s policing, education, and budget policies, and electing its governor. Left-leaning political scientists, such as Oxford University professor Tarik Abou-Chadi, mainly blame the AfD’s sustained rise on the normalization of its rhetoric by the mainstream center-right and center-left forces of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), Social Democratic Party (SPD), and the Free Democratic Party (FDP). That explanation falls short. To be sure, we don’t know how quickly the AfD would have grown without the firewall—after all, right-wing populist parties in other European countries have become leading forces without a German-style cordon sanitaire. But it is plausible that the firewall has contributed to the specifically German phenomenon of rapid growth combined with increasing radicalization. In some other countries, leading far-right forces have moderated somewhat as their success grew. The AfD, however, has taken the opposite path, adopting even more radical positions and promoting more radical cadres to national leadership. So far, the firewall reduces incentives for the AfD to moderate. Voters can currently cast their vote for the AfD entirely risk-free. The firewall spares them the risk of having to live with the consequences of their choice. Other parties have to deal with the hard work of governing in increasingly dysfunctional coalitions. ⬇️ Continued: https://foreignpolicy.com/2026/08/24/germany-afd-far-right-elections-saxony-anhalt-firewall 📎 Foreign Policy

❄️ 🇺🇸 🌎 Historic Snowfall Map Shows States Bracing for Significant Snow Amid El Niño The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association updated its prediction for the El Niño, which is strengthening and now has a greater than 90% chance of a very strong event during the Northern Hemisphere fall and winter 2026-27. Additionally, the NOAA revealed that during the October-December 2026 season, there is now a 69% chance of a historic event that would exceed the strength of previous El Niño events dating back to 1950. Historical records from the NOAA only date back to 1950, but other reports suggest this could be one of the strongest El Niños in history. El Niño is a natural climate cycle marked by warmer than average water temperatures along the equator in the Pacific Ocean. The warmer water triggers corresponding shifts in the atmosphere that have a domino-like influence on weather patterns around the globe – usually in ways that are largely predictable well in advance. The NOAA revealed this winter could bring “copious” precipitation to the West Coast, namely parts of California, that saw historic precipitation during the last El Nino. “Additionally the tilt toward above normal precipitation extends along almost the entire East Coast from November, December and January through February, March and April,” it said. “Meanwhile, along the West Coast, recent EP-based strong El Niños have produced copious precipitation, especially in late winter, with 2024 and 1998 being among the wettest Februaries in the last 100 years for parts of California.” https://www.mensjournal.com/news/historic-snowfall-map-shows-states-bracing-for-significant-snow-amid-el-nino

🗳 🇺🇸 🌹 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rejoins DSA after membership lapse of seven years Then House candidate joined Democratic Socialists of America in 2018 but didn’t renew membership after a year Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has rejoined the Democratic Socialists of America after not renewing her membership for seven years, amid speculation that she might run for president in 2028. In a statement on Tuesday night, the DSA announced: “Democratic Socialists of America confirms Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a member in good standing of our organization, having recently rejoined in August 2026,” according to a report in City & State New York. The DSA said it decided to disclose Ocasio-Cortez’s membership details amid reports that she could run for president in the next election cycle. Interest in the congresswoman’s status comes as the organization has seen its ranks grow exponentially across the country, following a string of election victories from New York to Florida. “While it is atypical for DSA to address the membership status of individuals, ongoing discussions about the 2028 presidential campaign have prompted this release … With chapters and members campaigning to draft Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a potential Presidential Primary candidate, we believe that the status of her membership is essential information for members to have in their deliberations and discussions,” the statement said, City & State New York reported. Despite Ocasio-Cortez having been a lapsed member of the DSA over the last seven years, in November 2020 the DSA offered its “congratulations to DSA member AOC on officially being re-elected to Congress” on X. Similarly, in March 2024, the DSA wrote on X: “We commend DSA members Rep @CoriBush and Rep @AOC for upholding our democratic values by voting against this authoritarian legislation,” referring to the now-former Missouri representative Cori Bush and Ocasio-Cortez voting against a TikTok ban. Earlier this month, in an interview on ABC, host Jonathan Karl asked Ocasio-Cortez whether she was still a member of DSA. She responded: “Of the New York City chapter.” Asked to elaborate on the distinction, Ocasio-Cortez said: “Every DSA chapter is formed locally. And so the New York City DSA chapter, those are folks that you know, it’s kind of like your local union chapter.” In July 2024, the DSA withdrew its endorsement of Ocasio-Cortez at the request of NYC-DSA, according to the organization, citing her decision to vote for a House resolution that described “denial of Israel’s right to exist” as an example of antisemitism, as well as her participation in a recent panel discussion on antisemitism. It added: “AOC recently hosted a public panel with leaders from the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, lobbyists for the [International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance] definition of antisemitism. On this panel, anti-Zionism and antisemitism were conflated and boycotting Zionist institutions was condemned. This sponsorship is a deep betrayal to all those who’ve risked their welfare to fight Israeli apartheid and genocide through political and direct action in recent months, and in decades past.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/aug/26/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-rejoins-dsa

The Left has markedly toned down their explicit, overt anti-White racial hatred because it was turning Whites away from the Democrat Party and fomenting White grievance politics. Best example of this was the selection of Tim Walz as Kamala's VP and "White Guys for Kamala." But remember that the process of White Replacement remains underway. Even if the culture is not as militantly, openly anti-White as it was 5 years ago, the dispossession of Whites has never slowed down or been reversed. Our quality of life will continue to be passively degraded. What's more, consider that in a society of Whites and third worlders, Whites will continue to naturally excel and disparities in wealth, income, education, and success may become even more pronounced. A more socialist society that penalizes success will naturally target White people as exploitative beneficiaries of a racist system. Diversification necessarily entails the use of government power to economically, politically, and socially suppress White people.

Saw a speech from Abdul al-Sayed, the Dem candidate for Senate in Michigan, that he gave to CAIR in 2022 saying that a proposed amendment to block judges from considering Sharia Law in their decisions was part of the "White Supremacist" heritage of America that includes the Trail of Tears and destruction of "Black Wall Street." Democrats will say things like this and then go on Fox News and say "hey man we just want healthcare." This is the same subversive game that Obama was playing in 2008 but which later Democrats forgot as Wokeness became ascendant after he left office. "Woke 2.0" purports to be a return to the Old Left's focus on class, unions, material conditions, but in reality this is just a superficial rebrand of Woke 1.0. These people are all just as radical as they were in 2020, they just stopped "saying the quiet part out loud." Normies say it's "not Red vs Blue but Epstein's friends versus you," but this belies the fact that these militant third world communists actually hate you more than Epstein did, and they are literally dead-set on destroying our monuments and taking our stuff. It's a coalition of aggrieved minorities united and motivated only by racial resentment to exact their revenge against White people. Al-Sayed says hey man we just want Medicare, but he sees himself as spiritually aligned with blacks, Asians, Hispanics, and women against WHITE SUPREMACY. All of these DSA candidates want to abolish ICE and the border to flood our country with brown communists, then they will reform the political process to expedite the political takeover by these people, and then impose punitive schemes to redistribute wealth and position from Whites to nons.

🇪🇺 Von der Leyen acknowledged that the economic prosperity of the EU was based on energy from Russia, exports to China, and Western technological dominance, none of which exist anymore. However, the President of the European Commission still believes the EU can compete with Chinese industry and technological development without the cheap Russian energy it once had access to. Von der Leyen pledged to make the 2027 budget of the EU about reducing the EU's dependency on Chinese rare earth metals and reviving EU industry without going into too much detail, making vague promises of reducing bureaucracy and the cost of administration while also threatening to use "instruments" against Chinese dumping practices all while acknowledging that the EU depends on China for sometimes as much as 90% for a particular rare earth element used in varying industrial processes. 🔗 Ursula von der Leyen
