በ2019 ዓ.ም በአዳማ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና በአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በአፕላይድ ሳይንስ እና በኢንጂነሪንግ የትምህርት ዘርፎች የመግቢያ ፈተና ለመፈተን በኦንላይን (online) የተመዘገባችሁ አመልካቾች የመግቢያ ፈተናዉ የሚሰጠዉ ጳጉሜ 4 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ስለሆነ በእለቱ በመረጣችሁት የፈተና ጣቢያ በአካል በመቅረብ መፈተን የምትችሉ መሆኑን እናሳዉቃለን፡፡

To All Applicants Registered to Take the 2019 E.C. Entrance Examination for Science and Technology Universities
This is to inform all applicants who registered online to take the entrance examination for the Applied Sciences and Engineering fields at Adama Science and Technology University and Addis Ababa Science and Technology University for 2019 E.C. academic year that the entrance examination will be administered on Pagume 4, 2018 E.C.
Accordingly, applicants are required to appear in person at the examination center they selected on the scheduled date to take the examination.
Note:
👉🏽 Applicants are required to arrive at their respective examination centers by 1:00 a.m.(local time) on the examination day.
👉🏽 Bringing mobile phones or any electronic devices into the examination center is strictly prohibited.
👉🏽 We would like to remind applicants that the examination will cover the following subjects from Grades 9-12: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and English.
👉🏽 Any form of examination malpractice or inappropriate conduct is strictly prohibited.
👉🏽 Applicants must bring the following documents when appearing for the examination:
✍️ The National University Entrance Examination admission card (identification document); and A copy of the registration confirmation.

መንግሥት በመውጫ ፈተና ምክንያት ከዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች ወጪ መጋራት በሁለት ዓመት ብቻ 8 ቢሊዮን ብር ማጣቱን አንድ ጥናት አሳየ፡፡
የዩኒቨርሲቲ ትምህርታቸውን አጠናቀውና የመውጫ ፈተና ወስደው ያላለፉና ሰርተፍኬት ባለማግኘታቸው ምክንያት በኮንትራትም ሆነ በቋሚ መቀጠር ካልቻሉ ተማሪዎች፣ መንግሥት በሁለት ዓመት ብቻ ያገኝ የነበረውን ስምንት ቢሊዮን ብር እንዳጣ አንድ ጥናት አረጋገጠ፡፡
መንግሥት የተጠቀሰውን ያህል ገንዘብ እንዳጣ የተገለፀው፤ ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ከማስተር ካርድ ፋውንዴሽን፣ ከአሪዞና ዩኒቨርሲቲ እና ከሽያሾኔ ተቋም ጋር በመተባበር ባዘጋጀው አውደ ጥናት ላይ ነው፡፡
የመውጫ ፈተና በከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋም ውስጥ ያለው አፈጻጸም፣ የታዩ ችግሮች እና የወደፊት መፍትሔ ምን ሊሆን እንደሚገባ ትኩረት ያደረገ ጥናት በመድረኩ ላይ ቀርቧል፡፡
ጥናቱን ያደረገው ቡድን ከአዲስ አበባ፣ ከሐዋሳ እና ከጅማ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች እንዲሁም ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የተውጣጡ አባላት ያሉት መሆኑን፣ ጥናቱን ያቀረቡት በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የትምህርት ምርምር ማዕከል አባል አብርሃም ቱሉ (ዶ/ር) ገልፀዋል፡፡
በ2016 እና 2017 ዓ.ም. የመውጫ ፈተና ከሰጡ የመንግሥት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ውስጥ ከ128,000 በላይ ተማሪዎች መውደቃቸውንና ከተፈተኑት ውስጥ ከ52.7 ከመቶ በላይ የሚሆኑት ደግሞ ማለፋቸው በጥናቱ ተመላክቷል፡፡
የግል የትምህርት ተቋማት ደግሞ 14.8 በመቶ ብቻ ተማሪዎች ማለፋቸውን፣ በዚህም ትልቁ የመውደቅ ምጣኔ የተመዘገበው በግል የትምህርት ተቋማት መሆኑን ጥናቱ አሳይቷል፡፡ ሦስት የግል ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት በምንም ዓይነት የትምህርት ፕሮግራም ተማሪዎችን አለማሳለፋቸው በመረጃ መረጋገጡን የጥናቱ አቅራቢ ተናግረዋል፡፡
በአጠቃላይ በሁለት ዓመታት ውስጥ የተመዘገበው የማለፍ ምጣኔ 33.1 በመቶ ሲሆን፣ 66.9 በመቶ የሚሆነው ደግሞ የመውደቅ ምጣኔ መሆኑን በጥናቱ ግኝት መካተቱ ተገልጿል፡፡ በመሆኑም የመውጫ ፈተና አልፈው ተቀጥረው ቢሆን በሁለት ዓመት ውስጥ በትንሹ መንግሥት ከወጪ መጋራት ያገኝ የነበረው ከስምንት ቢሊዮን ብር በላይ መመለስ እንዳልቻሉ ተገልጿል፡፡
ተማሪዎቹ የሚማሩት ትምህርት በመጀመሪያ ምርጫቸው ከሆነ የማለፍ ምጣኔያቸው ከፍተኛ መሆኑን ለአብነትም የጤና፣ የኢንጅነሪንግና የተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ ተማሪዎች የማለፍ ምጣኔ ከፍተኛ እንደሆነ፣ በተቃራኒው የማኅበራዊ ሳይንስ፣ የቢዝነስና የትምህርት ፕሮግራም ተማሪዎች የማለፍ ምጣኔ ዝቅተኛ መሆኑን አስረድተዋል፡፡
64 በመቶ የሚሆኑት የመውጫ ፈተና ያላለፉ ተማሪዎች ሰርተፍኬት ስለሌላቸው በጊዜያዊነትም ሆነ በቋሚነት መቀጠር እንዳልቻሉ፣ በዚህ ምክንያት ከፍተኛ ጭንቀት ውስጥ መግባት በቤተሰብ፣ በአካባቢና በጓደኛ የማሸማቀቅ ሁኔታ በልጆቹ ላይ እንደሚደርስ፣ ከ94 በመቶ በላይ የሚሆኑት ደግሞ በቤተሰብ ላይ ጥገኛ እንዲሆኑ ምክንያት መሆኑን አስረድተዋል፡፡
ጥናቱ በተመለከታቸው ዓለም አቀፍ ተሞክሮዎች በአብዛኛው ምንም ዓይነት የመውጫ ፈተና በሁሉም የትምህርት ፕሮግራሞች የመስጠት ሁኔታ እንደማይታይና ከዚያ ይልቅ በተመረጡ ፕሮግራሞች ላይ ብቻ ተግባራዊ አንደሚደረግ አቅራቢው አስረድተዋል፡፡
በመሆኑም ኢትዮጵያ ብቻ በሁሉም የትምህርት ፕሮግራሞች ላይ የመውጫ ፈተና ተግባራዊ ማድረግ የጀመረች አገር መሆኗንና፣ ትምህርት ሚኒስቴርም ወደ እዚህ ሁኔታ የገባው ከከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት ተመርቀው የሚወጡ ተማሪዎች ለሥራ ቅጥር ብቁ ባለመሆናቸው፣ ይህን ያስከተለውን የትምህርት ጥራት ለማሻሻል ኃላፊነቱን በመውሰዱን ነው ብለዋል፡፡
6,ዐ3ዐ ተማሪዎች በጥናቱ መሳተፋቸውንና ከእነዚህ ውስጥ 1,38ዐ የሚሆኑት ከአንድ እስከ አምስት ጊዜ የወደቁ መሆናቸውን እንዲሁም 78 የመንግሥት እና የግል ተቋማት፣ 13 የመንግሥት እና ሰባት የግል፣ በአጠቃላይ 20 ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በጥናቱ መካተታቸው ተገልጿል፡፡
