The final day of the Teen Pill brought an exciting showcase of creativity, innovation, and teamwork!
For their final challenge, the teens presented and tested prototypes addressing the problems they identified throughout the program. Their solutions included websites, interactive games, and engaging activities, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, confidence, and enthusiasm.
Special appreciation goes to our dedicated trainers, Mulutsega and Semay, for their commitment, creativity, and passion. Their engaging teaching helped the teens explore ideas and turn problems into innovative solutions.
The closing ceremony was attended by ENG Ethiopia’s staff, including our Executive Director, Deputy Director, and Project Manager, who encouraged the teens to keep learning and believing in their potential. | 83 |

Today, the teens took another exciting step in Digital Excellence Journey!
Each group presented their ideas and plans on how they are planning to achieve digital excellence. From improving digital skills and using technology responsibly to developing positive online habits, the teens shared creative and thoughtful approaches to navigating the digital world.
This initiative is prepared by Efuye Gela in collaboration with ENG Ethiopia, bringing together shared commitment, experience, and passion to invest in the next generation.

Today, the teens took another exciting step in the Design Thinking journey!
After identifying and defining real-life problems, each group presented their potential solutions and confidently defended their ideas. It was inspiring to see them think creatively, challenge assumptions, communicate their ideas, and work together toward solutions that can make a difference.
And of course, learning isn’t complete without some fun! 🎭😂 The teens also enjoyed a lively game of Mafia, bringing plenty of laughter, and memorable moments to the day.

Today, every group presented their selected problem statement after empathising with themselves, their families, friends, and communities—and confidently defended their claims.
We heard amazing and real-world problems ranging from phone addiction to awareness and access for people with disabilities. The teens elaborated on their investigations, evidence, and assumptions to reach and defend their problem statements.
After strengthening their problem-identifying skills and defining the root causes of these problems, we jumped into the third step of Design Thinking: Ideation!
The teens took on the “Crazy 8” exercise, where they practiced their creativity skills by ideating potential solutions to their problem statements.
