| 4 |  +4ENG Ethiopia participated in a three-day Facilitators’ Training on Intergenerational Dialogue, organized by Justice for All – Ethiopia (JFA-PF) in collaboration with the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA), with the support of the Swedish Embassy.
The training brought together facilitators from the Tigray, Amhara, and Afar regions to strengthen their knowledge and skills in facilitating meaningful and constructive intergenerational dialogues.
During the training, participants explored the roles and responsibilities of facilitators, effective dialogue management techniques, and strategies for creating inclusive and respectful environments where people from different generations can share their perspectives and experiences. | 200 |

✅ As Empowering Next Generation (ENG), we are utterly heartbroken and deeply alarmed by the recent reinitiation of war in northern Ethiopia.
✅ The hard-won peace we hoped would secure our generation’s future is fracturing, and once again, it is young people, ready to be slaughtered.
✅ We refuse to let our classrooms, dreams, and futures be replaced by the echoes of violence and shades of blood of innocent lives.

The final day of the Teen Pill brought an exciting showcase of creativity, innovation, and teamwork!
For their final challenge, the teens presented and tested prototypes addressing the problems they identified throughout the program. Their solutions included websites, interactive games, and engaging activities, showcasing their creativity, technical skills, confidence, and enthusiasm.
Special appreciation goes to our dedicated trainers, Mulutsega and Semay, for their commitment, creativity, and passion. Their engaging teaching helped the teens explore ideas and turn problems into innovative solutions.

After identifying and defining real-life problems, each group presented their potential solutions and confidently defended their ideas. It was inspiring to see them think creatively, challenge assumptions, communicate their ideas, and work together toward solutions that can make a difference.
And of course, learning isn’t complete without some fun! 🎭😂 The teens also enjoyed a lively game of Mafia, bringing plenty of laughter, and memorable moments to the day.

Today, every group presented their selected problem statement after empathising with themselves, their families, friends, and communities—and confidently defended their claims.
We heard amazing and real-world problems ranging from phone addiction to awareness and access for people with disabilities. The teens elaborated on their investigations, evidence, and assumptions to reach and defend their problem statements.
After strengthening their problem-identifying skills and defining the root causes of these problems, we jumped into the third step of Design Thinking: Ideation!
The teens took on the “Crazy 8” exercise, where they practiced their creativity skills by ideating potential solutions to their problem statements.
