_*Daily Morning Devotion 🔥*_ *Let the Storm Reveal Your Strength* *By Archbishop Dr Charles Agyinasare* _Day 271/365_ _James 1:2–3, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”_ A bell buoy does not ring in calm waters. It is the movement of the waves that causes the bell to sound. The bell was already there, but the storm caused what was within it to be heard. In the same way, difficult seasons have a way of revealing what is inside us. Pressure exposes our convictions, our character, and the depth of our trust in God. It is easy to speak confidently when everything is going well. The real test comes when circumstances turn against you and you must still decide whether you will trust God. Trials can reveal weaknesses that need attention, but they can also uncover strength you did not know you possessed. God can use adversity to deepen your faith, develop endurance, and bring you into greater spiritual maturity. Here are three things you must do when storms arise: 1. *Allow trails to strengthen your faith* _James 1:3 says, “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”_ Tested faith develops endurance. Do not immediately interpret difficulty as evidence that God has abandoned you. Some lessons can only be learned when your faith is required to stand under pressure. Let the trial drive your roots deeper into God. 2. *Examine what the storm is revealing* _2 Corinthians 13:5 says, “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.”_ Pressure reveals what comfort can conceal. If the storm exposes fear, impatience, anger, unbelief, or another weakness, do not ignore it. Bring it before God and allow Him to work on you. The storm may reveal an area in which you need to grow. 3. *Respond with worship, not complaints* _Acts 16:25 says, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God…”_ Paul and Silas were beaten, imprisoned, and placed in stocks, yet adversity could not silence their worship. What came out of them under pressure revealed what was already established within them. Train your spirit to respond to difficult seasons with prayer, praise, and confidence in God. _Precious one, do not allow the storm to silence your faith. Like the bell buoy, let pressure draw out the sound that God has placed within you. When adversity comes, let it reveal faith instead of fear, worship instead of complaining, and perseverance instead of surrender. Let your life ring with the testimony that your God remains faithful, even in the storm._ *Prayer* _Heavenly Father, help me to respond rightly in seasons of pressure. Let every trial deepen my faith, develop my patience, and strengthen my trust in You. Reveal every area in me that needs growth, and give me grace to worship You through every storm. _*Daily Morning Devotion 🔥*_ *Sacrifice with Focus* *By Archbishop Dr Charles Agyinasare* _Day 269/365_ _Luke 16:10, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…”_ When the building process began, it demanded sacrifice and discipline. We had a clear plan. I committed every resource I had towards construction, while my wife carried the responsibility of providing food at home. Each of us understood our role, and we stayed committed to it. Throughout that season, I did not buy clothes, not because clothes were wrong, but because they were not a priority. Every unnecessary expense would have delayed the goal. I understood that if we were going to complete what we had started, some desires had to wait. Breakthrough often requires saying no to good things so you can say yes to the right things. Focus is not about deprivation; it is about direction. When you know what you are building, you become more careful about what you spend your time, money, and energy on. Here are three things you must do to sacrifice with focus: *1. Define Your Priority Cleary* _Proverbs 4:25 teaches us to let our eyes look straight ahead._ Clarity of vision prevents the waste of time and resources. When your goal is clear, decisions become easier. You know what deserves your attention now and what can wait until another season. *2. Cut off distractions ruthlessly* _Hebrews 12:1 urges us to “lay aside every weight.”_ Some things may not be wrong, yet they can still slow you down. You must be willing to postpone certain pleasures and expenses when they compete with what you are trying to accomplish. Distractions delay destiny when they are not deliberately removed. *3. Stay disciplined until the goal is reached.* _Galatians 6:9 encourages us not to grow weary in doing good, reminding us that we will reap if we do not give up._ Sacrifice loses its power when discipline disappears halfway through the journey. Focus must be sustained, not seasonal. Stay committed until what you started is completed. _Precious one, sacrifice is temporary, but the reward of focus can last for years. Do not spend today what you need to build tomorrow. When you commit yourself fully to what God has placed before you, remain focused, exercise discipline, and trust Him to establish the work of your hands._ *Prayer* _Heavenly Father, give me the grace to stay focused on what truly matters. Help me to sacrifice wisely, resist distractions, and remain disciplined until I complete what You have set before me. Give me wisdom to steward my time, energy, and resources faithfully.
