A delegation from the University of Turin, Italy, has provided intensive training to Dilla University staff on writing project proposals for Erasmus+ scholarship opportunities.
The training was led by Professor Mauro Tusko and Dr. Valentina De Lacovo, who shared practical strategies for developing competitive proposals.
Opening the session, Tamirat Beyene (PhD), Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized the importance of collective effort in strengthening international collaborations. “Staff must work in unity to bring such collaboration to the university,” he said, underscoring that project writing should be embraced as a shared responsibility.
He further noted that recent policy initiatives and management support would help staff actively participate in mobility programmes.
Dr. Valentina De lacovo’s presentation focused on the fundamentals of Erasmus+ applications, highlighting the importance of building a strong project idea before drafting.
