UPSC Mains Answer Writing | ChatGPT Prompts for Laser-Focused Answers | By AIR 52 CSE 2025 Shubhankar reveals how he used AI (ChatGPT) as a tool — not a source — to streamline Mains preparation in just 90 days! Started prep. CSAT said "not today." First attempt over before it even began. 2024: Made it to the interview. Got close. Not close enough. Back to square one but at least now he knew what the finish line looked like. And how far away it still was. Meanwhile, real life doing real life things: DevOps Engineer job. Air Force school background. The kind of resume that makes relatives ask "तो UPSC क्यों कर रहे हो beta?" Valid question. No satisfying answer. Society from "various booklets" (translation: everywhere and nowhere). Polity from Laxmikant plus seventeen government reports. Economy from Vivek Singh. Ethics from internet searches and Better India compilations. Reading this once = months. Reading this 3-4 times like he did over three years = humanly possible. Covering all this from scratch in 90 days post-Prelims = "not humanly possible in my opinion." His exact words. The honesty is refreshing. Then Came the ChatGPT Epiphany Not the paid version. The FREE version. Because why spend money when you can spend brain cells engineering the perfect prompt instead? And Here's what he did! Step 1: Uploaded ALL his sources to ChatGPT.
