FAQ: When will the en banc appeal of the 3-judge panel in Goodluck be filed?
Answer: The en banc appeal is due, and will be filed, within 45 days after the June 25, 2024 issuance of the opinion. So Friday, August 9, 2024.
Note: Do not send individual messages to me or our team asking about the en banc appeal because the time we spend addressing and responding to those messages is better spent on working on the en banc appeal itself. - curtis š

Re: Goodluck order (which includes Gomez class, Rai, Goh, etc.):
Gomez class and Goh attorneys have confirmed they are willing to work with us on seeking en banc review of this order to the full panel of the circuit court.
However, my concern is it would cause our clients and class members to raise their hopes, and persist with the hundreds of daily messages to me that make it nearly impossible for me to get work done. That situation, an emotional roller coaster, which has gone on for years now, is no longer sustainable for you or me.
My proposal is that everyone accept that their DV2020/DV2021 journeys are over. And understand if we have an update, we will share it. And not ask for individual updates.
This will allow me time and focus to pursue en banc review in peace. (And if we have success, then we will let you know and it will be a pleasant surprise.)
I hope this proposal makes sense to all. š

FAQ: Will the recent order from the Circuit Court of Appeals in Gomez, Goodluck, Rai, and Goh have any impact on DV-2020 or DV-2021 selectees who were issued visas in 2020 and 2021 as a result of orders from Judge Mehta and Judge Chutkan and are now green card holders?
Answer: No. This order will not have any impact on you. Sorry for not making that clear earlier. - curtis

To clarify for all, the Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia issued its order in Gomez (including Mohammed, Fonjong, and Kennedy), Goodluck, Rai, and Goh on June 25, 2024.
Unfortunately, the court sided with the Biden administration. See: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vxm3GEIsmv8GIg3kO-ZGpqb_6GPatlVp/view?usp=sharing
This may be the end of the journey for DV2020 and DV2021 selectees. I plan to discuss the feasibility of appealing this order with other attorneys over the coming week. Will update all after that happens. Thanks. š - curtis

Letās see if we can get a journalist to ask the State Department if they are proud of their victory.

New FOIA production re:
@StateDept
KCC, and LDRM. Interestingly, why DOJ attorneys for State were arguing before NDCA judges that everything was ok with #DV2021, they were privately scolding LDRM contractor or poor performance processing #DV2021 cases.
