The Addis Ababa Education Bureau has informed our school that all rising juniors and seniors are required to attend the summer school program, which begins on Monday.
A certificate of attendance will be issued to all students who complete the program. Students who do not obtain this certificate will not be eligible to register for next year's academic classes.
Please be informed that the summer classes will be held at Tikur Anbesa Secondary School starting on Monday and will continue there until the matriculation examinations are completed. After the matriculation period, the classes will continue at Cathedral Secondary School.
Please make the necessary arrangements and attend from the first day.

| 5 |  +3🔬 Research Program Completed
Over the past several months, STEM Club members have participated in a structured research program, learning the fundamentals of R&D, research papers, literature reviews, and case studies. Throughout the program, they conducted laboratory experiments, carried out surveys, collected on-site data, reviewed academic sources, and documented their work through scientific writing.
With the guidance from STEM Club's Research Committee, participants successfully completed four papers, gaining valuable experience in research methodology, data collection, analysis, and academic writing.
We hope this program has provided our members with a strong foundation that will support them as they continue exploring research and pursuing future academic projects.
The completed papers will be available on the KUE SSC website through a dedicated Research Journal page in the coming weeks.

The KUE STEM Center is now accepting applications for the STEMpreneurship Summer Outreach Academy 2026!
This is a 2-month, project-based STEM and entrepreneurship program for students with little or no prior experience who want to learn new skills over the summer.
You can apply to one of the following fields:

| 10 | As our term comes to an end, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the Council Members and the Executive Team for doing an amazing job. You guys were the backbone of everything. You worked tirelessly to achieve every project we had in mind, even though we had a short amount of time.
I also want to extend my deepest thanks to the students of SSC. You were extremely supportive. You recommended ideas to us, advised us on what we should and shouldn't do, and helped us even when we made mistakes. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to serve all of you.
Lastly, I want to thank Edl. She was the best fit for the position. She was supportive, creative, and dedicated to executing the plans we had. Without her effort, all of the things we have accomplished this year wouldn't have been possible.
And to the upcoming President, Vice President, and Secretary, what we have done this term is just a glimpse of the endless possibilities of what you can achieve. I hope that, with the amazing community you have around you, you can do even better than we did and take the school to greater heights.

What an amazing year it has been.
I have taken away far more than I believe I have given—countless skills, unforgettable people, meaningful connections, and invaluable advice. For all of that, I am deeply grateful.
I am grateful to God; all praise belongs to Him.
I am grateful to my family because, as you know, they tolerated my jumps of excitement whenever something worked out and my tears whenever it didn't.
I am grateful to everyone I had the privilege of working with—my dear Vice President, our executive team, council members, the administration, and all our club leaders.
I am grateful to my friends, my brother, and my advisers, who treated my problems as their own, stressed with me, accompanied me wherever I needed to go and took part of that burning sun 😭
And I am super grateful to my supporters. Your appreciation and encouragement were the fuel that kept me going. That support came from our juniors, our seniors, and even our alumni—Nurulegn, my people. 🤍
Once again, I wish our new leaders an outstanding and successful year.
The reason I said "Farewell... ish" is because contribution doesn't always require a title. One thing this position made me realize is that I love SSC with all my heart and lungs. 😁 That's why I will continue to support the council in the years to come.
For me, this isn't the end. I am leaving this position with even greater ambition to contribute to SSC.

We've had the privilege of working with all three. Hamere has been our unofficially adopted daughter this year, always showing leadership, reliability, and hard work whenever the council needed her. Heran has consistently impressed us with her diligence, vision, and critical thinking. Maedot has been part of the council since joining our school, and her creativity, curiosity, and strong connections will undoubtedly enrich it.
