In 2024/25, Eliyas Markos and Kirubel Fikade stepped into leadership with vision in hand and challenges ahead. They restructured systems, strengthened clubs, built stronger bridges with administration, and carried service with discipline.
Their term was not defined by ease, but by endurance.
When obstacles came, they did not break. They adapted. They focused on what they could control and turned challenge into legacy.

But allow us to make a small change to the title that follows her name.
A great leader. A wise decision-maker. A prudent mind.
A tigress.
She led with passion, aimed for the stars, and indeed reached them.
Yet, as she herself reminds us, behind every leader stand selfless people — lifting them up, carrying responsibilities, executing duties, and leading in their own right.
Because behind every great leader is another great leader.
There is much we could say about her journey, her strength, and her impact… but we would rather let the pages speak for themselves.

What does leadership look like when vision meets action?
In 2022/23, Nahom Mesfin stepped into leadership with one goal: to build a more creative, organized, and opportunity-driven SSC. From strengthening clubs to expanding student life, his term became a season of growth, structure, and engagement.
What was once a vision became a system.
What was once an idea became an experience.

Yes — Kaleab Ermias and Kaleab Nebiyou.
Their leadership period was marked by many firsts, introducing new traditions and cultures that have now become part of the very fabric of our campus.

Episode 1 of Legacy of Leadership
The Student Council of Science Shared Campus was born out of a vision.
It began as an idea carried by Eliab Miheret, Robera Tadesse, and two of their friends, driven by the urgent need for extracurricular activities and a bridging body that could connect students with the administration, facilitate clubs, and establish connections with other schools.
What started as a simple idea would later grow into what we now know as the Student Council of SSC.
Once their idea was approved by the administration, the Student Council was officially established — marking the beginning of a legacy.
Below is the historical video of its establishment, the very moment that marked the beginning of greatness.

| 17 | Legacy of Leadership
As we prepare for the announcement of the next President of Science Shared Campus, we would like to make one final goodbye through our Legacy of Leadership series.
The clubs, student council, committees, and every active body you see in our school today did not appear out of nowhere. They were built from the ground up by SSC’s previous leaders, through vision, dedication, and hard work.
Through this series, the Student Council invites you to look back on their journey — to learn from their experiences, appreciate their contributions, and recognize the foundation they have laid for SSC today.
This is our way of extending gratitude to those who led before us, and of reminding them that what they built yesterday has become the strong foundation we stand on today.
