Allahโs delays are not His denials. If He delayed for you, He delayed for Zakariya. He delayed for Yaโqub. He delayed for Maryam. He delayed for Ibrahim (Peace and blessings be upon them all).
Allahโs delays are not His denials. If He delayed for you, He delayed for Zakariya. He delayed for Yaโqub. He delayed for Maryam. He delayed for Ibrahim (Peace and blessings be upon them all).
So welcome to the club of the greatest people of all time and be patient with His delay. Allah knows bestโค๏ธโ๐ฉน
๐ฟ The Prophetic Definition: When some individuals twisted their greetings to the Prophet ๏ทบ to mean "may death be upon you," Aisha (RA) responded with anger โก. The Prophet ๏ทบ advised her to take it easy, stating: *"Allah is gentle (Rafiq) and He loves gentleness."* โจ
๐ฃ๏ธ Softening the Path: Al-Rafiq doesnโt always remove the mountain ahead of you โฐ๏ธ, but He always softens the path for you through righteousness ๐ฃ๏ธ.
๐ค๏ธ The Final Words: In his final moments on earth, resting in the lap of Aisha (RA), the Prophetโs ๏ทบ very last words were: "Allahumma Al-Rafiq Al-A'la" *(O Allah, the Highest Companion)* ๐๏ธ. He chose the embrace of the ultimate Friend over all worldly comfort ๐.
๐ชฆ The Friendship That Outlasts the Grave โ๏ธ
โณ In the Loneliness of the Grave: When the funeral ends and everyone's shadow departs ๐ช, Allah sends your good deeds to keep you company ๐ฏ๏ธ and angels to reassure you โจ.
โ๏ธ The Day of Judgment: On a day when mothers flee from their children and crowds scatter ๐โโ๏ธ, the true friends of Allah (Awliya) will experience no fear or grief ๐๏ธ. They will be escorted directly into the comforting shade of His Throne ๐.
๐คฒ A Heartfelt Closing Du'a โจ
๐คฒ Ya Wali, be my closest friend when the world drifts away ๐. Guard me with the grip that never slips, and guide me gently through what I don't understand ๐งญ.
๐คฒ Ya Barr, keep me firm on the ground of Your goodness ๐ชจ. Make my faith steady when my heart trembles ๐.
๐คฒ Ya Rafiq, be tender with my soul as You unfold Your plan ๐. Soften my path, and whenever I am lonely, fill that space entirely with Your beautiful company ๐.
Ameen ๐คฒโจ๐ธ

๐ The Transience of Dunya's Companions โ๏ธ
๐ค Temporary Bonds: Life gives us temporary companions tied to temporary circumstancesโclassmates while in school ๐ซ, colleagues while at a job ๐ผ, or fellow passengers on a plane โ๏ธ until the destination is reached.
๐ People Come and Go: Every companion we lean on is as fleeting as the situation that introduced us. Even Prophet Adam (AS) desired a companion while in Jannah ๐๏ธ.
๐ *The Advice of Jibril (AS): As once told to the Prophet ๏ทบ, "Love whom you will, for you will be separated." Even your shadow leaves you in the dark ๐, but the One who created that shadow remains โจ.*
๐ฃ๏ธ The Ultimate Journey: In travel supplications, we say: *"O Allah, You are my companion in travel and the guardian over my family."* ๐คฒ Scholars extend this to life itselfโAllah is our true companion on the entire journey of life ๐.
๐ค What Do We Seek in a Best Friend? โค๏ธ
What we value in friendship depends on our individual vulnerabilities:
๐ฅ Some seek companionship to escape loneliness ๐ซฅ.
๐ก๏ธ Others value protection and loyalty out of a fear of betrayal ๐ช.
๐ Many look for someone to turn to immediately in times of desperate need ๐จ.
โผ๏ธโ๏ธ Only Allah combines all of these elements of friendship perfectly in One โ.
โฐ๏ธ Al-Barr (ุงููุจูุฑู) โ The Constant Source of All Good โ
โ๏ธ Stability: The first thing people seek in a best friend is stabilityโsomeone who is reliably kind and helpful ๐๏ธ.
๐ฑ The Root of Goodness: Al-Barr comes from the root word *Birr*, which represents the widest array of good deeds in Islam (faith โจ, charity ๐ช, freeing captives ๐, and kindness to parents ๐).
๐๏ธ Firm Ground: Another root of the name means "land" (the opposite of a tossing sea ๐). You drown if you depend on others, but you find firmness on land ๐ชต. When someone says a friend is their "rock," Al-Barr is truly the most stable friend you will ever have ๐ชจ.
๐ก๏ธ Al-Wali (ุงูููููููู) โ The Protective Friend ๐ค
๐ชต The Unsnappable Handhold: Allah states in the Qur'an that whoever rejects false gods and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never snaps โ๏ธ. People will inevitably disappoint or reject you, but Allah loves when you cling to Him ๐.
โ๏ธ Divine Protection: In a Hadith Qudsi, Allah declares: *"Whoever takes a friend of Mine as an enemy, I have declared war on him."* โก
๐ Complete Closeness: The root word refers to a saddle attached tightly to a horse's back with no distance between them ๐งต. Al-Wali guides you and guards you simultaneously, looking out for your ultimate needs over your temporary wants ๐ฏ.
๐ The Example of Prophet Yusuf (AS): His human companions changed constantly, from a loving father ๐งญ, to jealous brothers ๐ณ๏ธ, to curious travelers ๐ซ, a master's lustful wife ๐ธ๏ธ, fellow prisoners โ๏ธ, and then royal subjects ๐. The only consistent companion guiding him through the well, the prison, and the throne was Al-Wali ๐.
๐ Private Devotion: True Wilayah (closeness) comes from deep private devotion, not public posturing ๐ง. Spend time with Him in the middle of the night when no one else is watching ๐.
๐ The Highest Station: Al-Khalil (ุงููุฎููููู) ๐๏ธ
๐ฅ An Exclusive Rank: The highest layer of friendship with Allah is the rank of Khalil, granted only to two human beings: Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ ๐ค.
โค๏ธ Unlimited Closeness: While the Prophet ๏ทบ noted he could not take a human Khalil (like Abu Bakr) because his heart was filled with love for Allah, Allah's friendship capacity is boundlessโHis closeness to them does not crowd out His closeness to us ๐.
๐ธ Al-Rafiq (ุงูุฑูููููู) โ The Gentle Friend ๐
๐งธ Tenderness in Action: While Al-Wali is about letting Allah take hold of your affairs, Al-Rafiq defines how He handles themโwith a tenderness that matches His perfection ๐.

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no deity besides Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and all praise belongs to Allah alone.
It is WAJIB (compulsory) to recite this after every Fard (obligatory) Namaz ๐ขโผ๏ธ
Eid ul Adha is not just a celebration ,it is a reminder that true love for Allah demands sacrifice. Ibrahim (AS) raised the knife, Ismail (AS) laid down willingly, and Hajara (AS) stood firm through every hardship. Their surrender was complete, their faith unshakeable.
Today, that same spirit of sacrifice lives on in the blood of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and across the world โ who are giving not just their comfort, but their homes, their families, and their lives yet their faith remains unbroken.
This Eid, may we sacrifice not just an animal, but our ego, our silence, and everything that stands between us and Allah. And may Allah grant victory, relief, and justice to every oppressed Muslim around the world.
*Eid Mubarak! May Allah accept from us all. From Team Gems of Jannah ๐*

โจ The Reward of Takbeerat โจ
Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah bin Abdullah bin Mas'ood (rahimahullah) said:
"If a person were to sit by the roadside holding gold coins in a garment, distributing them to every passerby, while another person sits nearby reciting Takbeerat (Allahu Akbar), the one reciting the Takbeerat would earn a far greater reward." ๐ค

The Best 10 Days of the year: Dhul Hijjah
๐ฟ Recommended Dhikr (Remembrance)
Increase your daily remembrance. The Prophet (๏ทบ) instructed us to abundantly recite Tahleel, Takbeer, and Tahmeed during these days:
Tahleel: La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah) โ๏ธ
Takbeer: Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) ๐
Tahmeed: Alhamdulillah (All praise belongs to Allah) ๐คฒ
The Takbeerat of Tashreeq
From the dawn of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah until the Asr prayer of the 13th of Dhul Hijjah, recite this after every obligatory prayer:
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd.
(Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, there is no god but Allah. And Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise.)
๐๏ธ The Day of Arafat (9th of Dhul Hijjah)
The Day of Arafat is the pinnacle of Hajj, but its blessings extend to those of us watching from home. It is a day of immense forgiveness and freedom from the Fire.
Why is it so important?
It is the day Islam was perfected: Allah revealed Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:3) on this day: "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you..."
The Power of Fasting: For those not performing Hajj, fasting on this day brings an unbelievable reward.
The Prophet (๏ทบ) was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafat, and he said: "It expiates the sins of the past year and the coming year."
