Fiqh Of Sacrifice
]๐.
ุจุณู
ุงููู ุงูุฑุญู
ู ุงูุฑุญูู
_*What should be done with the sacrificed meat, skin etc?*_โ
1๏ธโฃ It is preferable for the one who has made a sacrifice to not eat anything on that day before he eats from it, if this is possible, because of the Hadith, โ *Let every man eat from his sacrifice.โ*
๐ (Classed as Sahih in Sahih al-Jamiโ, 5349).
๐ *This eating should be after the Eid prayer and khutbah*.
๐This is the opinion of the scholars, including โAli, Ibn โAbbas,Radhiallahu anhum Malik, Ash-Shafii and others rahimuallahum.
โป๏ธThe evidence for this is the Hadith of _Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him): โThe *Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not go out on the day of Fitr until he had eaten, and he would not eat on the day of Adha until he had slaughtered (his sacrifice)*._โ
๐(Al-Albani said: its isnad is Sahih. Al-Mishkat, 1/452).
2๏ธโฃ *It is better for a person to slaughter the sacrifice himself, but if he does not, it is desirable for him to be present when it is slaughtered.*
3๏ธโฃ
It is desirable to divide the meat into three
:
๐ก *one third to be eaten*,
๐ก *one third to be given as gifts* and
๐ก *one third to be given in charity.*
โป๏ธ
This was the opinion of Ibn Mas`ud and Ibn โUmar (may Allah be pleased with them).
โป๏ธ _Any ways, if you desire to keep the whole of meat with yourself, there is no sin._
๐๐ซ _The scholars agreed that it is *not permissible to sell anything from its meat, fat or skin*._๐ซ๐
๐ In a Sahih Hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
๐ซ โ *Whoever sells the skin of his โUdhiyah, there is no โUdhiyah for him (i.e., it is not counted as โUdhiyah).โ*
๐ก๏ธ
The butcher should not be given anything of it by way of reward or payment, because โAli (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
โ *The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded me to take care of the sacrifice and to give its meat, skin and raiment ( covering used for protection ) in charity, and not to give anything of it to the butcher as a compensation.*
He said, โ
*We will give him something from what we have.โโ*
โช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธโช๏ธ
๐ฅฉ๐ฅฉ _*To Whom Can We Distribute Meat*_๐ฅฉ๐ฅฉโ
โ๏ธ It was said that it is permissible to give the butcher something as a gift,
โ๏ธand that it is also permissible to give some of it to a non-Muslim if he is poor.
โ๏ธ or a relative or a neighbor, or in order to open his heart to Islam.

๐ป Allah Does Not Look at Your Appearance ๐ป
In the last week's post, we read about The passage that argues against evaluating people based on uncontrollable traits like physical appearance, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. Instead, it emphasizes the importance of judging individuals by their choices and decisions. These decisions include beliefs, ethical codes, actions taken, and responses to situations, asserting that these are within our control and are better indicators of personal progress and achievement in life.

As such, we ought to refrain from judging people, individually or collectively, on the basis of their circumstances, appearance or class. Rather, we need to hold the judgment until we educate ourselves about them, their values, their beliefs and the actions they take. We also should not feel privileged due to our own favorable circumstances, but realize that our true measure is the decisions we make and the actions we perform.
In front of Allah, it is what lies in our hearts and the actions that result from our decisions that differentiate between us.

The Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) said:
"Fasting on the Day of Arafah expiates for the sins of the coming year and the previous year."
(Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah: 3034)
๐ฎ๐ณ ๐ต๐ฐ For those in India/Pakistan, the fast of Arafah will be tomorrow, i.e., on June 16.
*The day of Arafah. The day of Dua!*
๐ฃToday dear brothers and sisters is the day of Arafah. The Day of Dua!
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"The best Dua is the Dua (made) on the day of Arafah."
Your Dua's on this day are accepted insha'allaah. ๐ฏ
โ ๏ธ All those wishes you have in life, who do you expect to fulfill themโ
โ ๏ธ And all those worries on your mind, who do expect to remove themโ
โ
If it is Allah, then know that he descends today (in a manner that suits his majesty), to accept the calls of his servants.
๐ข If you are given the Tawfeeq on this day to raise your hands and make sincere Dua to Allah, realising that there is none besides Allah that can fulfil your needs, than expect to achieve all the good you asked for, and be confident that your worries will vanish.
Like the great Taabi'i Ataa bin Abi Rabaah (may Allah have mercy on his soul) said:
"When Allah releases your tongue and makes it easy for you to make Dua, then know that Allah wants to grant you that which you desire, regardless of how great your desire or request is.
So if you find yourself always asking Allah for Al-Firdaws (the highest level in Jannah) than know that Allah wants to enter you into it. Otherwise he would have prevented you from making that Dua like he has prevented others besides you."
๐นFor all those days that Shaytan has promised you that you'll make Dua tomorrow.
๐นFor all those occasions when you tried every trick in the book to achieve your objectives, but forgot to ask the one whose will overrides everything.
๐นFor all those times you sought the help of Allah's creation and forgot the creator, who:
"His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is"
(-Sura Ya-Seen, Ayah 82)
โก Don't Allow Shaytan to deceive you by postponing Dua on this day!
โก Don't let let this occasion go by without capitalising on the most important means for achieving your wishes!
โก This time round, ask the Owner of the Universe, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.
โ Stop running around in circles, the solution to your problems are as simple as:
โผ๏ธRAISING YOUR HANDS AND SUPPLICATING FOR IT.โผ๏ธ
Today you'll find out how Shaytan has managed to make you overlook the greatest means of achieving all your wishes and goals.
"And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful"
(-Sura Yunus, Ayah 107)
"O Allah! No-one can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of a man of means is useless before You (i.e., only good deeds are of value)."
O Allah, on this blessed day, please give me and my family, and all Muslims, the Tawfeeq to do that which you love and are pleased with, and free all of our souls from hellfire, and gather all of us and our children in Jannatul-Firdaws. Ameen!
โช๏ธ If you found this thread to be helpful and insightful, then don't foget to like/retweet & share it with your family, friends and anyone that could benefit from it like you have.
๐ Become a key to goodness and get your share of the reward on this blessed day.
