I’ve just received a call from Sam Melia in HMP Hull. His Probation Officer has just informed him that they’ve been “inundated” with letters and emails complaining about Sam not being able to have any contact with his children. As a result, they‘ve decided to remove all but one of the restrictions. This means that Sam can now:
- Receive photographs of his children
- Receive letters from his children
- Talk to his children on the phone
- Talk about his children
He is still unable to receive visits from his children, however HMP Hull have advised they only haven’t removed this because they legally aren’t allowed to as an assessment has already started to take place. This means the assessment is already moving forward so hopefully the final restriction will be lifted very soon too, all being well.
This goes to show that:
A) Public pressure does work
B) They didn’t actually have to put all those restrictions on Sam in the first place, they just chose to

20 Hey folks. If you've checked the Patriotic Alternative website today you will have learned that my husband, political prisoner Sam Melia, has been banned by the state and HMP Hull from having any contact with his children while he is in prison. Not only this, but he is not allowed any photographs of our children, and I'm not even allowed to mention them to him when I speak with him.
After serving three months of his sentence already and having full contact (including visits) with our two-year-old and one-month-old daughters, they have now decided that Sam is a Person Posing Risk to Children (PPRC) because of Sam's "racist posters, insignia and literature" and "racist and offensive attitudes".
We have been dealing with this for the past week or so behind the scenes and Sam gave them until today to fix it, informing them that if it wasn't resolved we would go public with the news. Well, it is not resolved, so we will keep to our word and let the world know how the British state treats good men like Sam. 28 "Brief: Scottish Demographics"
Scotland's census results on race and ethnicity paint a mixed picture.
Whites retain a healthy 92.9% share of the Scottish population, but the share declined more in the decade between 2011 and 2022 than it did in the 30 years before 2011.
The share of native Scots has decreased by 6.25 points from 83.95% in 2011 to 77.7% in the 2022 data.
The number of native Scots declined by 200,000, while the population of ethnic minorities increased by 177,000.
The Black African population of Scotland doubled from 29,000 in 2011 to 58,000 in 2022. While the Asian population increased by 140,000.
On the positive side, Scotland gained 43,100 speakers of Gaelic and Scots, and the youth population of the country remains overwhelmingly White.

Hey folks. If you haven’t signed this petition yet please can you do so?
I know some petitions are a bit lame and we feel the government are never going to care so why bother, but there’s a very important reason for signing this one. Sam’s probation team (who are responsible for his release) have told him they’ve seen the public’s response to his sentence. If we can get a few thousand signatures on this (and we’ve already reached 1000 very quickly) it could help strengthen the case that there is public pushback to his sentence.
I know it’s a big ask, but please ask your friends and family members to sign it too, and share it on social media if you feel you can. We all miss Sam like mad and want to get him home as soon as possible.

35 Patriotic Alternative South East
On Sunday the 12th of May South East activists were joined by South West for a pub social and banner drop on a nice sunny day in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Abingdon has a claim on being the oldest town in England. Only Celtic settlements in Scotland and Wales are more ancient than Abingdon. As patriots we take pride in our heritage and the work the people before us put in to create and shape our home.
Days like this provide our people with a sense of friendship and community in a world where individuals are more isolated than ever. Patriotic Alternative aim to provide a community for like-minded individuals for the benefit of our people.
