The Others' Letters
Nasrudin wasn't very good at writing. And he couldn't read very well either. But he knew a little more than the people in his village. So, one day, he agreed to write the letter that one of those boors wanted to send to his brother.
"Now, read it to me again," said the man. "I want to be sure I haven't forgotten anything."
The Mulla scrutinized his scribbles anxiously. He couldn't get past "My dear Brother."
"I can't quite decipher it. I'm not sure if the following words are 'know' or 'work'—and 'before' or 'heart'...
"But that's awful! Who's going to read it if you can't?"
"My friend, that's not my problem. My job is to write the letter, not to read it."
“Besides,” the villager agreed, quite convinced, “it’s not addressed to you, is it?”

Le Courrier des Autres
Nasrudin ne savait pas très bien écrire. Et lire encore moins. Mais il en savait un peu plus que les gens de son village. Aussi, un jour, accepta-t-il d'écrire la lettre qu'un de ces rustres voulait adresser à son frère.
- Maintenant, relis-la moi, dit l'homme. Je veux être sûr de n'avoir rien oublié. »
Le Mulla scruta son griffonnage avec inquiétude. Il ne pouvait pas aller plus loin que « Mon cher Frềre ».
Je n'arrive pas bien à déchiffrer. Je ne sais pas trop si les mots suivants sont « sais » ou « travaille »- et « avant > ou «coeur>...
- Mais c'est affreux ! Qui va la lire si toi, tu ne peux pas ?
- Mon ami, ce n'est pas mon problème. Mon travail, c'est d'écrire la lettre, pas de la lire.
- En plus, convint le villageois, tout à fait convaincu, elle ne t'est pas adressée, n'est-ce pas ? »

La gratitude nous donne la force nécessaire pour traverser les épreuves.
Pour de nombreux soufis, exprimer sa gratitude est la forme privilégiée de tawba, le retour à Dieu. Je m'explique.
Au cœur du dhikr de gratitude, Alhamdulillah wa Shukr Allah (« Je loue Dieu et je le remercie »), se cache le trésor du retour à Dieu, du réalignement et d'un équilibre guérisseur.
Le dhikr nous aide à lâcher prise sur le besoin que les choses soient d'une certaine manière, afin d'accepter et de recevoir ce qui nous est donné.
Face à la déception, la gratitude est le moyen le plus rapide de se libérer de la souffrance et de se reconnecter à la générosité divine.
C'est une façon de percevoir le soutien reçu et de s'ouvrir à l'espoir, à l'inspiration et à la stabilité.

Propreté universelle
Prendre soin de son corps et de son environnement favorise la purification intérieure. Presque toutes les traditions spirituelles intègrent cette notion à leurs enseignements, souvent à travers des pratiques rituelles d'ablution bien définies, associées au culte.
L'essence de cette compréhension était fortement approuvée par le Bien-Aimé.
« La pureté du corps et de l'esprit, qui est une spiritualité pratique », disait Baba, « devrait être un objectif pour tous et peut être atteinte par chacun. »
L'attention portée à la propreté et à l'hygiène contribue à purifier et à illuminer l'atmosphère spirituelle, où que l'on soit. Elle apporte la clarté de la pensée et du sentiment.
