But I have learnt one important thing. What? How to ease the tension. Not to turn every argument into a battle for supremacy. I don’t think someone who is willing to give in is weak. On the contrary, I think it’s wise. The only couples I see lasting are the ones where One of them, it doesn’t matter who, manages to take a step back. Instead, they stay one step ahead.

www.tiktok.com/@the_wanderer_man_/video/7645206992532835617 One of the most important skills you can learn is maintaining a positive mindset even when you have a hundred reasons not to. Anyone can feel good when life is easy. That requires nothing. The real work is choosing your state of mind when everything around you is giving you permission to break down. Bad news comes along. Plans fail. People let you down. And yet, despite it all, it’s still up to you to decide how to react. Your state of mind isn’t something that simply happens to you. It’s something that protects you. Something you choose. Even when choosing it is the hardest thing you’ll have to do that day. A real skill. Don’t avoid problems. But learn to manage yourself in the midst of them.

https://www.tiktok.com/@seguibianconiglio/video/7646335133993159968 Oh, the first time I saw Alice was in 2001. I didn’t understand a single thing; I was 17 and sitting my A-levels at the same time as Roma won the Scudetto. Back then, specifically, I’d just got back from the G8 in Genoa where they’d beaten us to a pulp. All this to say we were all in a whirlwind of emotions where we didn’t understand a thing. One moment you had Manu Chao telling you that if you wanted to live well you had to have three hundred shags a day, and the next Tiziano Ferro saying you should throw yourself off the bridge in Ariccia. Mao claimed, ‘Great is the confusion under heaven; the situation is excellent’. I don’t know about that, but if he was referring to hormonal confusion, I for one remember that towards the end of that summer I was at a concert with my friend Sara, who one day said to me, ‘Zero, this is Alice, a friend of mine – have a quick chat with her while I go and get some beers.’

Tutti noi condividiamo la natura di ogni manifestazione. di Thich Nhat Hanh (monaco zen vietnamita) da: facebook 🪷 Dear Buddha, I see that I am the ocean; all the rivers of planet Earth flow into me. I see myself as vapour turning into clouds, rejoicing in travelling through the sky and turning into rain, snow or hail falling on mountain peaks and immense forests. I see myself transformed into streams of water, which little by little return to the ocean. I bring life to millions, to millions of species, to the trees, to the earth, refreshing them, nourishing and healing existence. I know I am about to return to the ocean, but I am in no hurry, because at this moment I have become the ocean; I am already the ocean. I am this particular river, but I am also other rivers. There has never been a moment when I have not been water, not been the ocean. That is why I am in no hurry. I rejoice in the passing of time, using it to make life and all species beautiful. Dear Buddha, you are also the ocean. You have also been clouds, snow and rivers. You continue to be ocean, clouds, snow and river. You are not just one river. You are many rivers, and I am the same. You have brought so much beauty, joy and relief to living beings. I am in them, and they are in me. We all share the nature of each manifestation. by Thich Nhat Hanh (vietnamese zen monk) from: facebook

~ Milarepa ~ (mistico tibetano) 🌻 Taking demons for demons, that is the danger. Knowing them to be vain, there is the way. To understand what they really are, here is the deliverance. Acknowledge them as father and mother, here is their end. Admitting them as a creation of the mind, There they turn into ornament. Knowing these uses, the All will be liberated. ~ Milarepa ~ (tibetan mystic)

Riflessioni dalla mente di Cristo” 🩵 I am as close to you as you would like me to be, for I am already a thought in your mind, and all that I am comes from that thought, just as what I am not comes from a different thought. You will have to learn this through experience. Some claim that I speak through them, but they are listening to another voice. My voice never condemns nor instils fear. My intention is to bless everyone. I would like to let you know once and for all that you are not guilty except in your own minds, and that imaginary guilt can and must be eliminated. My teaching is simply this: I preach the forgiveness of sins. I teach that sin in itself is not sin, but that it only seems so because you believe you can be hurt. You think you are a body, and when the body is hurt, you believe an injustice has been done to you. I understand how difficult it is for you to let go of this belief, yet that is what I ask you to do. You are not the body, for the body is born and dies, whilst you are neither born nor do you die. You are not a limited thought, for every thought that limits you is a body that begins and ends. The body is merely the extent of your beliefs. […] I am a thought without limits, for I am in constant expansion towards the formlessness of God. There is no form that can contain me. I am united with God in perfect forgiveness. I am free from guilt. I am free from resentment. I do not believe anyone can wrong me, nor do I believe I have the power to wrong others, for I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that every living being is equal before God. by Paul Ferrini (US spiritual speaker) from: “Unconditional Love. Reflections from the mind of Christ”
