In case you forgotten.. The largest liquidation event happened on 10/10 last year
| 2 | And looks like market dropped quite a bit today, been awhile since we see another liquidation event....
..And also, we're almost to the anniversary of the 10/10 black swan liquidation event that happened last year... do you still remember? | 60 |
| 3 | Well, woke up to another news of another chain shutting down. If you've ever used Abstract before, the dateline is 15th December to bridge your funds out.
https://x.com/AbstractChain/status/2107554632675340420 | 70 |
| 4 | Blast has recently announced it shutting down just yesterday as they "do not see a credible path to making the chain economically sustainable."
As a result, they will shut the chain off by October 26th which is later this month. If you still have funds on the chain, you need to bridge them off or they will be lost for good.
I would recommend using Jumper as a way to do so if you have any remaining funds on it. Use this link to bridge ETH from Blast to Base : https://jumper.xyz/?fromChain=81457&fromToken=0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000&toChain=8453&toToken=0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

| 5 | Another checker especially for perp DEXes, especially for people who were farming perp DEX during that season who may have left some money in their account and forgotten.
Use this website to check. Input address only, no wallet connection needed. If it does find some money, it'll direct you to the website itself.

| 6 | If you've bridge before, you may want to check this app. This helps you to check if you may have any stuck funds on any bridges that you forgot to claim in the past.
Just enter address, no wallet connection needed.

| 8 | Developing news - Bitget Crypto Exchange got hacked for over $350m hot wallet hack
If you have funds in this exchange, might want to withdraw first just to be safe. | 116 |
| 9 | Recently in the news was this app called Fomopeek that had an exploit found on the app. Worse part, it was available to download on the iOS store.
The exploit was capable of stealing private keys, seed phrases and credentials from iPhone. So if you had a crypto wallet connected when you installed this app, you would have been drained easily.
Solution?
1) Don't randomly install apps and make sure to verify what you're installing
2) My personal advise is don't use crypto on mobile wallet if possible. I find a lot of recent attacks has been on mobile. If you have to, don't store too much fund on this hot wallet just case of exploits like this
3) Get a hardware wallet - definitely will save you from this also. But you need one that can be compatible with phones if that's your primary mode of transaction. | 107 |
| 10 | Yes if you're wondering.. it's down more than 85% now lol. Not even a pump and dump as the token just dumped all the way pretty much after release. | 88 |
| 11 | Never jump into projects blindly even when its super hyped by a lot of people.. One such token is.. WLFI (World Liberty Financial - Yes, the token that's tied to Trump)
Bloomberg released this paid article that someone summarized it very simply...
- Promised Aave partnership. Didn't happen. Went with Dolomite instead.
- Ethena's sUSDe was supposed to be used as collateral. Didn't happen.
- Ondo stocks and Treasuries were supposed to come to WLFI. Still waiting...... Basically WLFI farmed partnership announcements for marketing.
Then:
- 'Created' a 'strategic reserve' and invited projects to contribute. Dozens sent tokens to WLFI wallets.
- Then WLFI sold most of its LINK, AAVE, ENA and MOVE lolll. Literally scammed projects?
- Then Trump's disclosures show millions received in LINK, AAVE, ENA, MOVE and ONDO from WLFI token sales | 91 |

If it really is, it's your last chance to buy more before BTC explodes above $100k again.
Best time to buy was always yesterday... then again, we had like at least close to a year to do so. No excuse if you miss this wave. | 85 |

| 14 | Today's new on X, seems like Kalshi has been in hot waters lately mostly about faking trading volume on their perps.. $539m daily trading volume vs $3.1m open positions.
That also means that the same amount of money would basically need to be traded over and over again extremely quickly throughout the day and looks extremely suspicious
The other controversy is because Jump Trading which is a major market maker, reportedly has a deal where it provides liquidity to Kalshi in exchange for equity.
But the thing here that nothing is confirmed or concrete that there is any wash trading going on. The thread is pointing out suspicious looking numbers and incentives, not a confirmed fraud case.
TL;DR: Kalshi says huge trading volume. Critics say the actual amount of money sitting in these markets looks way too small for that volume, so something doesn’t add up.

| 15 | https://coinmarketcap.com/community/topic/12%2C000-wallets-lost-%246.4M-on-%24LAPTOP/
Another day, another memecoin launched and crashed. Apparently this time by Hunter Biden called LAPTOP which literally pumped and dumped in MINUTES. Many people got caught and lost a lot of money in less than 1 hour here. | 146 |
| 16 | That being said, safe to say that whatever you receive in email is guaranteed a scam especially if it's something like these examples. Don't open at all and just delete them.
Stay safe! | 149 |
| 17 | If you use Trust Wallet, make sure to take a look if you do use it. Seeing reports of people getting drained recently.
Best tip i would give is use a hardware wallet that makes you a lot more immune to random drains. | 146 |
| 18 | I know quite a lot of people are using NordVPN, and they recently had a breach too. Be careful of phishing emails and all sorts of stuff like that. | 184 |
| 19 | another interesting statistics I saw recently too for people trading on the FOMO app which lists memecoins and viral tokens..
If you add up all the winners... that's roughly only 5% of the users, with 500 making more than $1k.
I remember mentioning how I don't really chase memecoins and this is really the reason why. Seeing such statistics over and over (yes, this isn't the first), memecoins are really just gambling at its finest.
If you want to chase memes, just make sure it is money you can afford to lose. Not something you need to buy food or pay rent with. | 163 |
| 20 | So this might be coming soon for Singapore.. a framework for Stablecoins in Singapore and can be "MAS-regulated" | 132 |
