A very strong session - congratulations! 👏
We found excellent entries for most of our positions today, with many of them ending in strong profits intraday or even just a few minutes after entry. We also managed to close several existing positions very successfully, helping us reduce our overall exposure for now. TSLA opened weak, rallied strongly during the session, but then saw significant profit taking once again. We should therefore look to exit our small position soon (if you are still holding it). Perfect TP on XOM 📸, while BA 📸 also closed near the session high (219.23). Another outstanding GOOG/L trade 📸 with a perfect entry.
We are also updating the SL 🔑 and TP ✅ for our BTC position to lock in profits. In addition, we are tightening the TP ✅ for our Dow position.

Our 🔼 success rate improved slightly after a - rather rare during May - not-perfect 3/5 session (SA/SR = 60%) dropped out of the statistics and was replaced by last Tuesday's strong 5/6 session (SA/SR = 83.3%).
We continue to hold our NVDA position. As we expected already last week, NVDA climbed back above the $200.00 level in a very strong session (+2.54%). USD/JPY saw several intervention attempts but continued to edge higher. We continue to expect further attempts by the Bank of Japan (BoJ) to slow the yen's depreciation. For now, however, we are tightening our TP here:

► Semiconductor stocks in particular, which had come under significant selling pressure due to portfolio rebalancing, have rebounded very strongly over the past two trading sessions.
► Overall risk sentiment remains positive. The strong gains in the semiconductor sector have been supported by a rotation out of more defensive sectors such as healthcare, consumer staples, and also the energy sector. The Dow Jones is currently little changed for the day, while the Nasdaq is up around +1.8%.
► Market breadth has improved somewhat, although gains remain largely concentrated in the semiconductor sector.
► Wall Street is ending an exceptionally strong quarter and first half of the year on a positive note - despite geopolitical tensions and increasingly volatile trading sessions that were often accompanied by panic selling. Corporate earnings remain exceptionally strong, as demonstrated by Micron's outstanding earnings report last week. As a result, investors are also looking ahead to the upcoming earnings season with optimism.
► The market is once again showing that buying the dips in the AI sector remains a profitable strategy.
► The path of least resistance continues to point higher. With portfolio rebalancing now (largely) completed, we expect further gains ahead. We believe the strong performance in the technology sector will broaden to the wider market later this week before investors become somewhat more cautious again ahead of tomorrow's key labor market data and, more importantly, Thursday's Non-Farm Payrolls (NFPs).
► We are currently seeing a slight cooling in the market after oil prices temporarily rebounded from their session lows.

► We are buying today's sharp weakness in the cryptocurrency market amid the ongoing crypto winter.
► New EU regulations have pushed numerous crypto platforms out of the European market - including Binance. Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has been forced to cease its operations in Europe after failing to obtain the authorization required to continue its activities beyond July 1. The Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation comes into force at the beginning of H2 and introduces new requirements for corporate governance, capital reserves, internal controls, and cybersecurity across the crypto sector. Customers in some countries, including parts of the EU, are not immediately affected - but the direction of regulation is clear.
► Cryptocurrencies are also coming under pressure from the stronger US dollar and a rotation back into equities. Investors remain optimistic that the strong performance in the technology and AI sectors will continue into Q3 following the typical end-of-quarter portfolio rebalancing. At the same time, investors temporarily bought the weakness in precious metals.
► Overall, we continue to see positive risk sentiment, which should support rebound attempts in the cryptocurrency market.

► We are buying the weakness in the CAC 40 after the important luxury sector weighed heavily on the French benchmark index today. In particular, luxury giant Kering (-6.5%), as well as Louis Vuitton, Hermès, L'Oréal and Pernod Ricard, are all trading sharply lower. The CAC 40 is currently hovering around the flat line.
► A warning from Barclays following a pre-earnings meeting with analysts ahead of its late-July earnings release triggered heavy selling in Kering. Following the briefing, Barclays stated that Kering's full-year guidance now appears "increasingly unattainable," sending the stock to its lowest level in three weeks. In particular, the slow recovery in Gucci sales continues to weigh on Kering. Citi also lowered its growth expectations for Kering. Other luxury stocks came under pressure in sympathy. We believe the market reaction is excessive and has been further amplified by the ongoing rotation of institutional capital into Wall Street as well as technology and AI stocks.
► Overall, however, we continue to see broadly positive risk sentiment across Europe, even though the technology-driven tailwinds are providing only limited support to the technology-light CAC 40.
► German inflation came in lower than expected, providing another positive boost for the European economy by reducing expectations for further ECB rate hikes. It also helped ease some of the strength in the euro. In addition, lower oil prices continue to provide support for European equity markets.

► We saw a strong start to the final trading session of this quarter. Our Nasdaq 100 has already hit its TP and subsequently gained another ~80 points, driven in particular by further strength in semiconductor stocks such as NVDA and AVGO. MU also turned positive again, along with AMD, INTC and others. After these initial gains, however, we could first see some mild profit taking in the semiconductor sector again. If you are still LONG here, you can close at higher levels around ~30080 - 30200 (+215 points for the future).
► We continue to observe rotational movements. Market breadth has improved somewhat, which is a positive sign, although overall we still see rather mixed market and sector performance.
► GOOG/L has pulled back slightly following yesterday's strong gains. We can buy this dip of nearly 1% and see Alphabet with rebound potential in July after a disappointing month. We can re-enter here near yesterday's triggered TP (slightly 🔼 below 351).

🔹 Nasdaq 100 (+0.1%) - is trading largely flat following yesterday's very strong session, during which the tech-heavy index gained more than 2% and recovered most of the previous week's losses. Market breadth in the Nasdaq 100 is rather weak in pre-market trading, but key stocks - including the mega caps and major semiconductor names (NVDA, AVGO, AMD, though currently not MU) - are trading higher. Additional support comes from fresh "BUY" recommendations by investment banks and investment firms. For now, we can tighten our TP a little, as we continue to expect elevated volatility and can also use potential profit-taking waves for new entries.

🔹 Boeing (+0.9%) - is opening higher (near our TP) after yesterday's profit taking as the market rotated back into technology and AI stocks. BA remains a very attractive longer-term investment for the coming months, H2 2026 and beyond, while also offering significant short-term upside - particularly if oil prices continue to decline, supporting the airline sector. We keep our TP unchanged for now (TP ✅ @: 218.67) and currently see absolutely no pressure to exit the position at lower levels.
🔹 ExxonMobil (+0.2%) - is opening slightly higher, benefiting from a temporary rebound in oil and natural gas prices. Energy prices are receiving some support from ongoing concerns that negotiations between the US and Iran may remain difficult, as well as generally more cautious trading into quarter-end and the end of H1. We are tightening our TP slightly but continue to see the energy sector underperforming.

🔹 NVDA (+0.9%) - is extending yesterday's gains. We expect NVDA to have a strong month ahead after the AI chip leader lost more than 13% (m/m) in June. CLSA reiterated its "Outperform" rating and expects a very strong performance over the next 12 months, raising its price target from $300 to $360.
🔹 Tesla (-1.7%) - is opening lower after yesterday's strong gains but should initially attract dip-buying. We remain comfortably in profit with our small position and are tightening our TP slightly. Deutsche Bank reacted positively following the delivery numbers and reiterated its "BUY" rating on TSLA.

► We first want to observe the initial trading activity in semiconductor stocks and see whether we get another brief rotation out of the sector (particularly the higher-risk chip names). Overall, however, we continue to see upside potential for chip stocks here, which should also benefit the Nasdaq 100. We are therefore already well positioned for further early gains and can also close our Nasdaq 100 position at higher levels if we see another quick rally.
► We are looking for entries in semiconductor stocks. After a mixed start to trading, we expect to see some additional profit taking. We also continue to see further upside for GOOG/L, although some mild profit taking may occur first following yesterday's strong gains - gains we were able to benefit from.

► It was a good start to today's session for us. Our Russell 2000 hit our very well-positioned TP ✅📸 before pulling back around 15 points alongside global equity markets - also weighed down by higher oil prices and the typically cautious positioning into quarter-end. Gold also hit our TP ✅📸, resulting in another strong close overall (including a re-entry; I widened my TP slightly). In the short term, however, we continue to see downside potential for precious metals and expect further selling pressure.
► It has been an exceptional quarter and first half of the year - despite the heightened volatility and uncertainty, particularly in the energy markets and due to the war in Iran. For semiconductor stocks, it was the best quarter in history. The extreme concentration and very rich valuations of many AI stocks remain a risk for H2, but overall we remain optimistic. In particular, lower oil prices are easing inflationary pressure, while expectations for another strong earnings season remain high.
► We expect the rebound in oil prices to prove only temporary and continue to see further downside potential in July, as long as commercial vessels can continue to pass through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
► Market breadth is rather weak today. However, key stocks - including NVDA and several mega caps that recently came under selling pressure - are once again showing early signs of recovery. At the same time, investment banks and major asset managers continue to recommend buying these mega-cap technology stocks.
► The Nasdaq is currently trading around 200 points below its pre-market highs. Overall, we have seen a solid session so far, with further initial gains, although Asia and Europe have already experienced some mild profit taking.

Overall, it was a good session for us - although, in hindsight, an oil SHORT would have been the better trade than the gold LONG. USD strength remained in place and even intensified further as signs increased once again that the US-Iran negotiations still carry a significant risk of failure. In particular, Iran continues to insist on maintaining control over maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, including the imposition of transit fees - something the US and neighboring countries consider completely unacceptable.
We are tightening our TP ✅ slightly for both the Russell 2000 and our gold position. You can make a small re-entry in gold in the 🔼 3941 - 3956 range. The $4,000 level will remain a key level for gold for some time. Overall, however, selling pressure remains elevated - particularly in silver.
Our stock portfolio requires a few closings - especially if you are still holding a small TSLA SHORT, which rallied sharply today following better-than-expected Q2 delivery numbers and positive updates regarding Tesla's FSD software. While we still consider TSLA overvalued, the stock traded with clearly positive momentum today. BA missed our TP by less than 0.1%. We found a good entry in XOM. We also made very strong trades with GOOGL 📸 (I entered already in pre-market) and MU 📸 - although we could have closed MU at a significantly higher level.

Our 🔽 success rate has declined further but remains at a very strong level above the 80% mark. Nevertheless, it has now fallen to the lowest level in our five-week statistics this year (currently 80.2%). Once again, a flawless session (4/4; 💎 SA/SR = 100%) has dropped out of the statistics and has been replaced by last week's overall weak Monday session (2/6; SA/SR = 33.3%). Although we closed the Nasdaq 100 at our TP and all of our re-entries in profit, we cannot count the overall position as a winning trade because of our initial entry (or because some of you likely closed the position much earlier in profit). However, our two re-entries closed well in profit.
We closed the Nasdaq 100 a little too early today - I widened the TP slightly, but we could have closed the position significantly higher. Other than that, there are no further updates.
NVDA remains open and had a positive session, attempting to rebound back toward $200.00. USD/JPY has moved further away from our TP. With the pair trading above 162.00 - the highest level in more than 40 years - the probability of an intervention has increased further. We will therefore have to tighten our exit, but we can make a re-entry near/above 🔽 162.250.

► It has been a very strong day for semiconductor stocks, which rebounded sharply following last week's heavy losses - particularly on Friday. We continue to see further upside potential here. We closed our MU position a bit too early, but at least we didn't panic sell - which, once again, many retail traders did after another wave of profit taking emerged.
► Overall, we remain LONG technology. We believe we will get another better entry in the Nasdaq 100, and we also expect the Russell 2000 (where we remain LONG) to benefit during tomorrow's session from today's strong gains in the mega-cap technology stocks.
► We continue to see oil prices under pressure - in hindsight, an oil SHORT instead of our gold LONG would have been the slightly trade - with near perfect entry timing.

► Gold has come under significant pressure over the past few weeks - particularly since the Iran conflict brought inflation concerns and fears of higher interest rates for longer back into focus.
► The key drivers for gold remain the oil price and the Federal Reserve's interest rate outlook. Swap markets are currently pricing in roughly a 60% probability of a rate hike by September.
► I believe the market's expectations are currently somewhat too restrictive / hawkish, regarding the interest rate outlook - at least as long as the Iran conflict does not escalate again.
► The renewed rise in tensions between the US and Iran has increased concerns that reaching a peace agreement will be difficult and that the path toward one is unlikely to be without setbacks.
► We are seeing slightly higher bond yields today - but this is also mainly because investors are becoming somewhat more risk-on again and are therefore selling bonds, not because expectations for additional Fed rate hikes have increased.
► Many investors also remain on the sidelines for now, waiting for further developments in the US-Iran negotiations as well as the labor market data due later this week.
► Although we also like an oil SHORT after today's gains, I currently prefer gold a bit more, as it has rebound potential during the first half of the week and is still (at least for now) finding support around the $4,000 level. Gold will benefit from oil sliding lower again.

We initially saw a strong rebound in the technology sector - particularly in big tech and software stocks - but (temporary/outsized) profit taking in the semiconductor sector accelerated once again. We are now also seeing some renewed selling pressure. We are therefore tightening our TP ✅ for the Nasdaq slightly. We are also tightening our TP ✅ for the Russell 2000 after it has pulled back somewhat as well.
MU continued to decline as the ongoing rotation out of semiconductor stocks - particularly memory-chip names - and into big tech and software stocks continued. The stock also came under additional pressure due to concerns that the currently exceptionally high margins of Micron, as well as the other memory-chip giants (Samsung & SK Hynix), could come under pressure because of the class-action lawsuit in the US. The companies are accused of engaging in coordinated anti-competitive behavior in the DRAM market, including manipulating supply and pricing since 2022. We are not overtrading MU here, but we expect increasing support below Wednesday's closing price (near 1045; before the exceptionally strong earnings report). We currently see larger buy orders stacked in the 🔼1015 - 1030 range, where we can make a small re-entry.
BA missed our TP by less than 0.1% - we are therefore tightening it slightly.
We expect Wall Street, and the technology sector in particular, to stabilize again very soon / from current levels (so now!) as the renewed profit taking and selling pressure in semiconductor stocks is likely to fade from here.

🔹 Nasdaq 100 (+0.8%) - is trading strongly higher and well above both Friday's after-hours levels and the regular closing price. Strong gains in several mega caps - particularly MSFT, but also AAPL and AMZN - which weighed on the market last week, are providing support for the Nasdaq 100 today. The index is currently trading around the 29500 level (~29720 for the future). We continue to see further upside from here, particularly if semiconductor stocks can stabilize. At the same time, however, there is still a risk of further profit taking in the mega caps and especially across the chip sector. We keep our TP unchanged for now (slightly lower for the future). We also expect significantly elevated volatility again after the NYSE opening.

🔹 Russell 2000 (+0.4%) - continues to perform well and is far less affected by the volatile semiconductor sector or the recent profit taking in big tech. We expect the small-cap index to push toward new all-time highs later this week. We keep our current TP (✅ @: 3036.90) near ATH.
🔹 Boeing (+0.7%) - is opening higher and still has rebound potential. BA is opening close to our current TP (✅ @: 219.29).
🔹 NVDA (+0.7%) - is opening in positive territory and has room to recover from last week's oversold conditions. We expect NVDA to have a positive trading week, with significant rebound potential in July and Q3 following the rather disappointing share price performance since its latest strong earnings report.
🔹 Tesla (+0.5%) - remains volatile and continues to benefit from speculation about a potential merger between SpaceX and Tesla - which, in reality, would make little economic sense. Investment banks remain divided on TSLA. The company will report delivery numbers later this week. We expect some investors to become a bit more cautious ahead of the release, although the generally solid risk sentiment at the start of the week continues to provide support for now. We keep our TP unchanged for the time being (✅ @: 373.47).
► We see more upside for Alphabet which is trading for the first time in the Dow today. Alphabet is replacing Verizon on the 30-member chip index. Alphabet is currently trading around 341.00 in pre-market - I have already entered my position here.
► We also observe MU for a potential entry after the sharp correction on Friday. We expect to see first some additional profit taking with also a lackluster performance of chip stocks in Korea today after last week's / Friday's sharp correction.

► Wall Street is attempting to rebound following a difficult previous week, during which technology and semiconductor stocks in particular came under selling pressure.
► The US attacked Iranian military targets over the weekend in response to (alleged) Iranian attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump threatened to "annihilate Iran" in a Truth Social post. However, both sides agreed on Sunday to pause hostilities and once again allow commercial vessels to transit the Strait of Hormuz freely. The key point is that neither side - and especially not the Trump administration - appears interested in further escalation, but instead is seeking to return to détente as quickly as possible, even after military exchanges.
► Equity markets started the week on a positive note. We are seeing gains across Asia, Europe and New York (pre-market). At the same time, oil prices have cooled significantly after their initial gains.
► We continue to see mixed markets. Some semiconductor stocks - particularly memory-chip names - continue to experience, or are once again seeing, significant profit taking. Meanwhile, other stocks, including several major technology companies that recently suffered substantial losses - among them AAPL, MSFT, AMZN and META - are trading firmly higher in pre-market.
► Overall, we continue to see strong performance in economically sensitive stocks outside the semiconductor sector. Bond yields are slightly higher, but this is primarily due to investors reducing their safe-haven bond positions. In our view, this creates only limited headwinds for equities.
► We see further upside potential from here and believe the Russell 2000 has room to return to new all-time highs. We also like the Dow at current levels, although we could see some short-term profit taking in MSFT after its +7.5% (!) gain in pre-market. At the same time, we expect a rebound in financial stocks such as GS and JPM.
► Nevertheless, we prefer entering the Russell 2000 here near 3010.
